I've loved Juice as a player for quite sometime now. I complained last offseason that signing Watson was stupid because Juice could also be in the TE rotation or used as an H-back and get creative. 

With that said if the team fails to retain Juice then I hope they can get VT- FB Sam Rogers in the 7th round as a backup plan.

Personally, I love Al-Quadin Muhammed.

Hes a defensive end from Miami. He got suspended for punching a Miami student, then got kicked off of Miami for accepting illegal gifts. I watched this kid through highschool and he has immense talent. He is 6'-3" and 250# has the prototype body and athleticism of an NFL edge rusher.

 

 

I'm still bummed that he got kicked off Miami, especially after seeing how improved that defense was under Manny Diaz.   Muhammad would have had a breakout year.    Before he got kicked off the team I remember early predictions were that he would lead the team in sacks, be All-ACC maybe put himself in position to be a 3rd rounder. 

I think he can become a productive Pro, if he's put in the right situation. 

Corn Elder CB Miami 5'10" 180 lbs 

I don't think Elder is on anyone's radar, he could be a 4th or 5th round pick maybe.  

Elder was a RB his first two seasons at Miami but couldn't see the field behind guys like Duke Johnson & Joe Yearby.  He moved to CB his Junior Yr experienced plenty of growing pains in year one at CB. 

Senior season he improved immensely helped lead an improved Miami defense. Elder often covered the opposing teams #1 WR man to man and held his own with many of them.  

Elder is a very strong tackler both in run game and passing game. He has good agility and nice awareness turning to deflect passes. 

My player comparison for him : a poor man's Antoine Winfield...

Having 7 in coverage and 4 down lineman rushing will do that.   

But if those 4 weren't doing their job, then we'd see those broke looking plays that happen to us  

Its not 6 rushing the passer and 5 covering man to man.

For the record the pass rush isn't doing great, a lot of the pressure is due to the secondary covering so long. 

I'm not sure how you can say that. 2 sacks , 6 QB hits and plenty of  hurries and they aren't bringing extra blitzers hardly ever.  So that's more people in coverage because the front four doing enough to allow that. 

Smh. Sigh. It's amazing how everyone runs these little short routes, slants , & pick plays on the Pats roster.  

I'm loving this first half. I hope they don't give up a TD before half.  

Thats something that always burned me up with us this year

exactly what I was coming to write. I hope they win it all just to eliminate that narrative around here.   

Thats been the go-to anytime Rivers or Ryan is brought up. 

They've been too loyal to Dom Capers he's had subpar defenses for most of the last 5 years 

I just want the NFC to win the super bowl lol. 

I was pulling for GB cuz it's my older bro's team, but apart of me wants Falcons to win so people will stop pretending like the Julio Trade was a mistake lol.

If I remember correctly Boldin dropped a TD late in that same playoff game against the Steelers where who's your momma dropped the 4th down pass. 

Revisiting highlights from that game, my gosh Cundiff's FG to tie, the flags on the pole were completely still. 

And his kick hung a left and flew away as if a tornado picked it up.
