I'm surprise Kubiak isn't even a candidate wow... Would have still liked to see Zorn or Al Saunders also get an interview
Well let's see how many guys get plucked away before we find another one of Harbaughs buddies to run the offense.
After the year that Payton was suspended, the only person I trust to call his offense is him.
The team didn't play well. The defense was historically bad not their offense.
I forget about Al Saunders and Jim Zorn whom both have connections to the team
Too bad Bengals made Hue Jackson their OC he was my choice... Norv should be available he was upset Chudzinski was fired. Kubiak is a nice option as well. Billick as an OC.
Bill Callahan is actually a decent OC although in Dallas he looks crazy as they battle between he and garret playcalling.
Pete Carmichael. I'm sure he's learned a lot from Sean Payton.
From College maybe Josh Heupel from Oklahoma.
Chad Morris Clemson OC
We could sign him for one day so he can retire a Raven now.
Health wise I'm not sure he can contribute at all. Now if he wants to play center field and let Elam slide down to SS ( where I think he belongs ) it be nice.
I'd like ed to comeback as DB coach or Defensive consultant. He studies so much film I'm sure he could coach a little.
Hurricane defense is folding on me. Come on guys step up. We need a game breaking TD from Duke or this is gonna get away from us.
Let's go defense get a fumble. Force a three and out. I'd prefer if you guys get a score so Morris doesn't have to touch the ball again. He almost had int number 5 on that last pass.
We need a TD here!!! Let's go Hurricanes. We've been in the redzone a number of times with no success tonight.
We need to score some points after this. Morris better not throw another interception.
Blowing this game big time. We need a Turnover hurricanes.
Morris is killing us with these ints. Smh
Awwww man. We gotta stop shooting ourselves in the foots against UNC.
There we go shut me up Crawford. Run downhill for some solid gains.
Crawford really is running sideways. Juking on every play.
Now that was. Good north south run. That's why I wanna see Gus Edwards see some power running.
Let's go Canes get stop force a FG. Will somebody touch Ebron he killing us.
Ugh step up defense.
Morris killing me. Horrible throw with pressure in face.
I hope Gus The bus Edwards gets some carries for us in the second half. Crawford juking a little too much right now
GT is gonna run for 400 yards on us at this rate.
Nice drive hurricanes. Back in it. 17-14.
Both defenses look bad in this game.
I hope my Hurricanes get it together down 17-7 to Georgia Tech right now.
Duke has to work on his fumbling.
The Ravens rarely ask a player to take a straight out pay cut. Usually the cap is reduced through an extension, with the FO figuring that the last year could likely be dead money. I have no issue with Boldin sticking to his guns for his pay, however, HE is the one who stated he would retire before play for another team if he was cut. Now, he is changing his stand on that point. I don't respect that in the least.
The last time I got royally upset about cuts was when we let Heap & Mason go. I will be upset to see Boldin go, but I just don't think we're sunk, we're doomed, OMG no one else will ever catch a Joe Flacco pass again. Doss will step it up, or he won't and he'll be replaced. We'll move on like we always do and we'll be right there in the thick of things come post season.
Edit: I feel the need to add these blasts from the past when we cut Mason. They might sound familiar if you've read this thread lol
"you let go one of the best hard hitting TE's in the game along with a super solid WR who single handedly won you some games last year? unreal. here's to the ravens NEVER figuring out they have good players til way after they've cut/ traded em. they'd have a superbowl by now if they woulda stuck with chester taylor."
"After the embarrassing personnel decisions made by the Ravens yesterday, I am now convinced what I have suspected for years – the Ravens are in bed with the Steelers, and are being paid off by creepy old Dan Rooney himself to make personnel decisions that my two year old would have known better to avoid. Why would you cut Mason and Heap? So who do we throw to now besides Boldin? Tandon Doss? Ed Dickson? How about I polish the AFC North trophy and just hand it to Pittsburgh now. This is why we are always a bridesmaid and never the bride – we are being paid by the Steelers to make these types of decisions."
Lol. See I wasn't upset about Mason & Heap sure I liked them both, but I was ready to see what the 2 young TEs had to offer. And I felt like Mason needed to go so that Flacco could get off his security crutch. It just seemed like a wash to have two WRs that could only work intermediate routes but an OC that constantly tries to send them both deep lol.
What I've found interesting is that I've never read anything about discussing a contract extension with Boldin to lower his salary for this season. All the talks have been take a " pay cut " makes me think of how McKinnie contract was cut before the season.
Boldin doesn't seem willing to budge, and I don't blame him, it seems that if they can't reach an agreement the FO will have to cut him, because otherwise the next time the FO approaches a player to take a pay-cut they simply say well if this worked for Boldin I'll try it also.
I have a question. Is TNA even worth watching? I only caught it on a couple of occasions but I haven't watched it enough to know if it's worth it on a daily basis.
I actually enjoyed TNA more a few years back before Sting, Kurt Angle, Nash all these other people went there and started dominating the tv time. It was refreshing to watch AJ Styles, Samoa Joe develop or other guys that left the WWE develop.
Once all the "outside stars" went to TNA to raise its credibility with casual fans it became much more dialog than wrestling.....
