  1. Well I hope this kid can return to the field soon. After the injury and reading various quotes I assumed it would missed maybe 3 practices and be good. It's 2 weeks later now. He's missing valuable practice time especially for a rookie WR.
  2. That drive was too quick to really key in on defenders.
  3. Now I need to see what Carl Davis is doing. Has Art Brown touched the field yet?
  4. I didn't see when he went down. But I got text on my phone that he was questionable to return. With a knee injury. If the rookie can show anything. Then I'd be cool with Smith, Webb, Arrington, Melvin, Walker. ( Levine has shown he can give minimum snaps if necessary. )
  5. It's good that he dropped that. It's going to be a teaching moment when they watch Film. It's going to make him work even harder. That's what preseason games are for to work out the kinks.
  6. Let's get those TEs involved in the goal line.
  7. Just got a notification Asa out with a knee, I feel like he could be bubble player, he's either been injured or suspended for much of his tenure. If he can't play and make an impact on special teams, then who knows
  8. Surprise Ingrim still playing in the 2nd quarter for them, also surprise Cooks is still playing...
  9. back to back bad plays there.... I think Allen will bounce back on the next series
  10. LT really is noticeably slimmer, looks more explosive as well.
  11. 2 very good drives to start this one off. Like seeing Campanaro get the long TD catch, good patience by Schaub to stick with the route and not force it anywhere else.
  12. Well this is rather disappointing news. I was so looking forward to both Urban and KLM bouncing back from injuries and helping the defense.
  13. I wasn't expecting Elam to win a starting Safety spot this season, and my expectations were to have 2 starting Safeties ( W.Hill, and K.Lewis ) that play a majority of the snaps. The crazy rotation we had last year was out of necessity hoping to find chemistry amongst 2 safeties. Then as injuries occurred all over the secondary some of them were forced to play out of position. I believe Levine played well enough out of position last year that I would trust him as a backup safety this year without concern. Once Terrence Brooks returns from injury he will see snaps
  14. I have not read anything positive about Schaub yet. Every time I read something it's about someone intercepting him. But it seems like he's not in a battle for backup QB either.
  15. He can focus on film study during recovery.
  16. Well I was hoping that this could be a prove me wrong ( in a good way ) year for Elam but this injury may have derailed his chances of turning things around this year.
  17. I hope one of the next articles goes in detail about battles in the trenches. I really want constant updates the defensive line.... I know Brandon Williams was much improved last year, I want to read about his progression as well as how Jernigan looks this time around with more time to work with NFL trainers.. So much to learn about Brent Urban, Kapron Lewis-Moore how are they competing following injuries, can we expect them to make impacts. Rookie Carl Davis how does he look out there, is stout in the run, can he create any push at all. I've always liked D.Tyson has he improved enough to warrant more time or will he be cut like Hensley predicted. Could Steven Means actually emerge as a pass rushing option? So much to talk about within the entire D-Line...
  18. I hope Will Hill has a monster year, if he can play to that level he played at during that Saints game last year, where he basically shadowed Jimmy Graham around field, delivered some nice hits in the run game, made a spectacular interception, then he would have huge impact on a defense. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Will-Hill-Beats-Up-Saints-Tight-End-Jimmy-Graham/b41370ba-931d-49cb-98ee-bb892b89be1c
  19. Nice that Campanaro returned from injury and looked well, I was thinking that his injury might linger for longer than expected like last season and could lead to him losing a position in a competitive WR battle. He definitely has the ability to be a reliable underneath target for us, but I think he has to remain healthy and perform well throughout camp and preseason if he is going to beat out Butler for a roster spot ( also not sure how the team feels about Darren Waller yet )
  20. A couple things I'm glad to hear it was a minor injury CBS notifications went off saying Perriman leaves practice with knee injury and I was like, all those articles about no injuries no drama for the Ravens this offseason smh. The highlight in the video I like over the shoulder catches like that, it shows the ability to track the ball while running and not stopping or mistiming the ball. With being said, I would have preferred anyone but Elam getting beat on the play, I just want to see some improvements from Elam that video doesn't help...
  21. When I first read this it was a huge shock to me especially since I expected him to be in the best shape ever in an effort to prevent possible injuries this season, similar to how Monroe said you train hard for injury prevention and the added strength and speed comes as an added bonus. But after reading F.Washington tweets about how hard it is running for the conditioning test, and him having to run around with a pregnant wife, it's possible he slack off for a week or two in preparation. Since it's not his first time performing the test he probably overestimated his own stamina and conditioning, it won't happen a second time I'm sure.. I'd rather read about a failed conditioning test than a pulled anything at this point lol
  22. Sorry haven't been on in a few weeks, but TXRavensFan was correct in describing my previous comment. It wasn't a matter of simply affording contracts under the salary cap, but rather the possible ramifications. More cause and effect, example being although they play totally different positions and salaries are often set by positions, there is no reason why a good agent wouldn't get his client to look at current Raven's contracts then say, " okay so you, Upshaw so the Ravens are paying their Kicker avg 5m/per, but the offer on the table for you is 4yr at 18M ( avg 4.5M ) now at that point Upshaw ( Upshaw and his agent are going to start talking about the number of snaps he plays and how important his role is to the team.. ) Or even in the case of a guy like Yanda ( last contract was 5yr 32M ) of course he wants more than that based on his last pay day and the position value going on over time, but in respect to his contract compared to a kicker making 5M, he might want to get what he feels is his value ( he is a top player at his position within the league and a locker room leader ). PS. TXRavensFan I'm not sure why you had negs for your comment, had to be a lack of understanding, you said nothing wrong.
  23. D.Tyson has been solid reserve for a couple years. If he's cut then I would hope Kapron Lewis-Moore made an impression. Not sure what will happen with Waller. If training camp and preseason continues as is. It would seem that Butler would make the roster as a WR.
