  1. This could be a blessing in disguise. He's got two guys ahead of him and might not even of made the 53 man roster. Now he's safely tucked away instead of on the practice squad and no team can snatch him up. He'll get healthy, spend time learning the system and be back next year. Looking forward to seeing what he can do next season.
  2. Until he can be tasered 3 times without going down you can't compare him to Yanda.
  3. If he's healthy he's right. He'll be the starting TE. He's the best of the bunch if he's over that injury.
  4. The ravens did the right thing. Justin Tucker is one of the best kickers in the league. I doubt they could replace him in the near future.
  5. The ravens will find a way to keep Waller around even if it's some mysterious injury that puts him on IR. Watson is short term and Pitta, even if he does play is too. They won't need a TE for years with the four guys they have. Waller may sit out the 2016 season but he'll be back next year with Watson and Pitta most likely gone. You don't dump a guy after one year unless he proves he can't play on the field. Waller didn't do that. He played like a roie at times but he also made some catches as a WR. As a TE he'll do even better because he won't be covered by a corner. He's to fast for LB's and so he'll either get free fast or draw double coverage which leaves the WR's one on one. Plus he's a deep threat and right up Joe's alley.
  6. Tucker is proven himself. Get him inked.
  7. Reynolds will have a place on the 53 man roster. Even if it's just for special team play. He's not going anywhere.
  8. Waller is now a TE. Which leaves room for Camp.
  9. Camp is a weapon when healthy. No doubt about that. He just needs to stay on the field.
  10. Crocket was in his second year also. No knock on Gilmore. He's a stud too. These two are the future TE's of the ravens.
  11. Maxx is the next Heap. He'll be better than Pita ever was.
  12. 6' 6" with 4.4 speed. That's a nightmare for any LB.
  13. Honest no bs assessment would be a major no on Perriman practicing before pre-season. I actually wouldn't mind having him come off PUP just to make sure he has fully healthy and rested legs for the hardest part of our schedule. We have plenty of depth and talent for Flacco to throw too, last thing we need to be doing is rushing Perriman back just because he didnt play last year and was our #1 pick. Until I see Perriman on the field I can't bring myself to believe he'll be on the field. He can't even stay healthy long enough to wear pads in practice. I hope he proves me wrong but that's what it will take to change my mind.
  14. Don't count on Perriman. Our receiving corps is fine without him anyway. Aiken and SSS are reliable targets and we still have two burners in Moore and Wallace. This TE group is top 5 easy. I'm hoping the put Waller back as a WR and that gives us even more speed on the field. That kid showed promise and heis almost as fast as Perriman, just a lot bigger.
  15. Yes. We have been down this road before. And we know where it leads.
  16. I hope you are right. But at this point he needs to prove he can stay healthy long enough to play a pre-season game.
  17. Compassion would be to keep him from becoming a cripple. Would you rather me cheer him on to permanently hurt himself? If he breaks every time he runs routes how is it showing compassion to want him to be hit on the field? He's not cut out for the pro's. Admitting that is showing compassion. Not egging him on to hurt himself even more. Saving this young man from a life of pain is my idea of compassion. You act like I'm a bad person because i don't want to see a young man cripple himself doing something he obviously isn't cut out to do.
  18. No. A realist. He can't even make it past shorts and jersey's without getting hurt. Besides wishful thinking what makes you think he will ever play a down for the ravens?
  19. Six things really. Periman blowing out a knee while watching film of himself running. If he is always getting hurt just from practice how do you expect him to play an actual game? Just IR him until his contract is up. He's to delicate for football.
  20. I believe he'll play when I see him on the field. Until then no story will make me believe he will. Seeing is believing at this point. Nothing short of that will convince me he'll be on the field this year.
  21. I hate to say this but I'm not one bit surprised. Another young player that sees how easy it is to get paid to "be injured" instead of actually playing for that paycheck. The NFL needs to change some rules. You don't play you don't get your full salary. This guy will never play a down as long as he gets paid not too.
  22. Catch, throw and run. He's played all three positions. He's a TD machine with 88 TD's (most ever) in his college career. He was a 6th round pick. Most 6th rounders spend at least one year on the practice squad. He'll miss two years which isn't uncommon for late draft picks to spend 2 years on a teams PS if not claimed or brought up due to an injury. If they even last that long. Reynolds is safely tucked away for two years and no other team can snatch him away. And I have a strong feeling after watching some film on him he'll be on the 53 man roster after he's fulfilled his obligation.
  23. This was a known risk. He may have to serve 2 years but it's not like he'll get out of shape in that time. The tape on this guy is amazing. Well worth the wait IMO. When he finally gets to play the ravens will have a serious weapon playing the slot receiver position. 88TD's is the most ever. Ozziie stole this guy and people complained because they want an instant starter. How many 6th round picks even get on the field the first year? Most don't even make the final roster and are stashed on the PS. Reynolds would be no different except no other team can snatch him up. If you look at it that way you can see the genius behind this pick.
