  1. As of yesterday, I have officially lost 30.2 pounds of me...and I don't intend on ever finding it again. biggrin.png

Started walking again, too. Walked back and forth to my Weight Watchers meeting yesterday (two and a half miles total) and my hips and knees are decidedly not happy with me. Oh well they'll get used to it. biggrin.png

  2. My fattest cat is in the vet right now. He has a urinary clog. If we didn't bring him sooner he would be gone. He is going to the bathrooom on a tube right now. His brother misses him and so does the family. Get better Sammy!

Awwwww poor sweetie! Here's to hoping all is well very soon!

I miss my Old Man something fierce.

  3. Couldn't resist putting this picture up knowing the bounty situation going on in New Orleans... Poor kitty, let's hope Gregg Williams didn't put the bounty on him.

LOL....hadn't thought of the Saints. My thoughts immediately went to Mutiny on the Bounty.

What loser makes paper towel pirate hats and sticks them on their cat's head??? This person apparently. :lolpoof:

  4. 20 pounds is alot to have lost. You've done the hard part, keeping it there is alot easier.

*big big smile* Thanks. Not done yet and I'm still motivated. Weighed in today and found out that over the last two weeks, with al the intense stress I felt from packing my life and moving some of it, that I still managed to lose. I've been on cloud nine all afternoon! :)

Moving 10-gallon Sterilite bins from the third floor to the basement equaled my best workout EVER!

  5. Congrats, keep it up!

On the other hand iv'e gained about 15 pounds in 8 months. A back impingement ,and a torn muscle and cracked bone in my shoulder. Too much Corona's and steak. Can't wait to feel near a %100 percent again.

Thanks! I intend on it. 20 more pounds and I'll hit my goal and I'll be, as a friend said on my FB today, 'unrecognizable'. biggrin.png Of course the maintenance phase will be hard too. I've been told by folks who've been there that the maintenance requires a totally different mindset than the losing does. But I feel confident...when I think of where I was in August with the health scare....I ain't never ever going there again! :)

And I feel for you. Heal well. I know I went nuts when I had to heal my strained shoulder.
