After reading the replies, I do think that opening the board early is in good interest, for members to sign up. It is important to note that some features will be missing until it is complete on Friday. I believe I will be able to get it "complete" enough to open it to signups in a few hours. That is true Thanks, @purplepittabread88 and I took quite a while coming up with a name that sounded good and wasn't already taken haha As one of the creators alongside purplepitta on the new board, I can say for sure that it will look great and work well I believe that we are going to be using the XenForo platform as it works better than most other forum software out there. I think as purplepitta said, we are keeping it closed off to just us currently until release. However, the possibility remains that if we need the extra help, we can definitely contact you. I don't know the possibility of the new forum's link actually being linked on the official ravens site, but it could work. I have noticed this, and I don't want to bash on BOLDnPurPnBlacK, but the current forum software he is using seems kind of outdated. You said it was transitional, but I don't know how he then expects to get the 100 or so users that have already signed up to move to a new forum without much grasp of the community he has acquired. By the way, I am a friend of the OP (@purplepittabread88), as well as a creator of the new forum board alongside him. Anyway, I do believe that possibly getting in touch with him would be beneficial as he already has quite a bit of users, and we have the domain name. Not only that but we will be using our own site with a more sophisticated board. Again, not bashing, but yeah. It could be beneficial. I will definitely talk about it with purplepitta.
