Why is LeG Blount not in the FA discussion?

Ok, Pees is excited, but, he needs a mind-meld w/RexR!!! AND, besides not needing the #3 guy (or are they giving up on the many guys on the DL that they drafted in the last 2 years?), I find it hard to believe that there wasn't at least ONE offensive guy near the same "draft value"!!! At SOME point, you have to stretch a bit. And, Tim Williams is being compared to RandyGregory re failed drug tests, et al.

Next year we will be picking in the top 10 (or top 5) again - then we'll load up on the O!

Sure they made a lot of changes - unfortunately too many key ones were not of their choosing, e.g. KO/R Wagner, et al!!! And still, the key change necessary is: can/will Flacco play to the level of 2012 or 2014!!! A repeat of last year's performance will make 8-8 look pretty good.

Please tell me why everyone is soooo optimistic about Flacco next year. He has regressed steadily and last season was the worst. Assuming the "weapons" they hopefully/eventually provide him are reasonably good (bad track record though Ozzie, yes!!??!), there is still no guarantee his accuracy will improve. And with the same OC, potential dead-man walking, well, it could be deja-vu all over again! Don't get me wrong - I hope I am wrong; HOWEVER, my rose-colored glasses are missing.
