  2. All good. I didn't exactly help the conversation with my first post. I was a little too ready to jump on someone that I felt didn't know what they were talking about.
  3. I brought up the stats purely for that reason, because I don't see them as being very important when comparing Tim to Reddick, or really when comparing anyone to that matter (neither do I think you see stats in that way). However, you brought up that Tim had a lack of sacks at the end of the season and that it was worrying, and I said that if we're looking at stats then Tim has more sacks than Reddick. As for the "condescension" I don't see where I came off as that. I think my original post was misinformed, and I owned up to it and tried to best explain why I assumed you were claiming something else.
  4. I admit I blew your comment out of proportion. I quoted you, but mostly went off of the "drought" you mentioned. I still don't see Williams' lack of sacks at the end of the season as a problem, and I don't see it as very relevant considering Tim still had more sacks than Reddick in their college careers. I don't doubt that you judge off of film, just thought you gave numbers too much credit.
  5. No doubt in my mind that Ray Ray's a troll. I don't care how fast you type, or even if you're completely illiterate, no one spells like Mast3r Ch13f talks on "Arby 'n' the Chief." He also manages to go against a lot of objectively correct aspects of the Raven's franchise, for instance he wants to trade Flacco, and with his amount of posts on this site it should be impossible to support something so detrimental to the team.
  6. If not I hope they're making that stat lol

  8. Plus Bama has a constant rotation. NFL talent all around and great depth=cycling players in and out constantly.
  9. Stats don't matter nearly as much as film, a player could perform perfectly and still not be able to make the play. In Charles Harris' last five games, he had 5.5 sacks, and Reddick only had 3. Harris and Williams played against stronger opposition too, so if we're going off of stats I guess Harris is more of a "special" guy than Reddick.
  10. I think he could; his combine numbers might make him slide.
  11. I heard that Sidney Jones said he'll be ready to play in his rookie season. Not sure if that's a huge boost to how likely we are to take him though, I think we already factored in that he could recover for his first season, but we're not as desperate for someone that needs to be able to start instantly.
  12. I don't think he'll be nearly as flexible once he gets put up against NFL talent. Creating mismatches on the outside? I'm not too sure about that. Slot? I think he is better off doing what Woodhead does in the passing game (another reason I don't see us taking him, we'll just use Woodhead for that), but I could definitely see that happening if he can translate well enough, but his size is an issue. I have no doubt that McCaffery has the ability to really be a great player, but I don't think he'll be BPA for us and I don't think we could really benefit from him more than other players that are more plausible.
  13. I really like the potential that Judon has going forward. I see him as being a big contributor for us once he gets some more playing time.
  14. I think the reason he's been dropping is the shoulder thing, I still don't think there's any chance that makes him fall to us. If he makes it out of the top 10 I'd be very surprised
  15. It also kinda breaks down to BPA vs just purely filling holes. BPA at 16 sounds better than BPA in the 20s, but 8 picks sound better when you're trying to fill holes. But of course we'll be doing both, so it depends on which we prioritize and/or what the board looks like before we pick.
  16. Yeah we won't take someone with the attitude of McDowell. I don't want a guy like that in our locker room.
  17. Exactly. Pretty sure it's a given at this point that everyone sees stats as way less important than film.
  18. I think Webb can still contribute whether or not someone goes down. We could find ways to get him in as a 3rd safety, but yeah I think if someone goes down he'll easily step up and we won't be in a bad spot. I really hope we get Webb back.
  19. OK. I though I remembered hearing something that could make us not pick him up, but not too sure that takes him off our list.
  20. I think I heard that Dunlap has DV in his past am I mistaken?
  21. I agree. Seems like great guy off the field as well as on as shown in this topic.
  22. We seem to have trust in Skura and Wesley I've heard, but I'm not too sure that I feel the same.
  23. I strongly suggest moving this topic to the 2017 draft discussion. Nobody's looking for posts in this thread.
  24. I've heard reports that we're still interested in having Webb on the team. I really hope so, he can still contribute as a 3rd safety.
  25. Some people want James Conner for the 4th (I think that's when he's projected) which I only see happening if we trade back and get an extra pick.
