  1. Lets be realistic here, Rice was cut because he wasn't producing anymore. He had his worst statistical season by far just before the incident which made the F.O. job a ton easier in parting with him. If he was still the guy who won us that game in San Diego on 4th and 29 (Hey diddle diddle) you bet you behinds they would have kept him.
  2. Not sure if i'm following you correctly but Suggs and Doom are both linebackers that are pass rushers in our system.
  3. Well I have to say, they obviously know something that we don't about someone in house on the o-line.
  4. Holy cow, they're really trying to stack the defense up
  5. Just lost out on Ju-Ju :.(
  6. This is ridiculous man, just creating more holes. I understand that a lot of teams don't even use full backs but for goodness sakes, can we retain at least 1 talented player we've developed instead of them leaving once they finally get good and move on to dominate for another team. FO needs to do something about Flacco's numbers, he's paid entirely too much for the numbers he's producing. Don't get me wrong I DO like Flacco but for heavens sake we are bleeding out every free agency.
  7. I should say that first and foremost we ARE NOT in the bottom tier of the league. Sitting at 8-8 with a few games we SHOULD have won. Now granted I'll agree with you that Coaching infuriated me in the games, but cutting Harbaugh at this junction in time is not the answer. With that being said I'm all for putting our current OC on the chopping block. Give Joe control of the 2-minute drill, that's why he's so slow getting to the line, he's waiting for the play call. Keep Pees for shore, Defense played well this year, maybe not down the stretch but overall they played well. Finally we have Ozzie, I'm so conflicted here because a large part of me loves him too much to call for him being relieved of duty. He's failed on quite a few early picks recently, I love, love, love, Ronnie Stanley but when I heard the names of our 2nd and 3rd rounder's I was scratching my head. CJ and Stanley seem to be our only reliable 1st rounder's since drafting Joe back almost a decade ago. I think Ozzie is still finding talent in the later rounds the only problem being is that we can never retain these players once they start shining. So overall I think the positives on keeping Ozzie far outweigh the negatives. Could be worst....we could be Cleveland (A true "bottom tier" team)
  8. Come on Ravens brass, get this deal done! I can fully understand the Osemele deal (which doesn't hurt any less by the way) with him getting LT money playing guard. But we're talking about a FB here who was a decent part of our offense and a fan favorite, 2 mil a year for that seems plenty do-able. Maybe front office and Joe can hammer out a reasonable contract restructure, as much as I like Joe and want him to stay I don't believe his play warrants his pay. P.S. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO KEEP BRANDON WILLIAMS! He's a young key piece to our defense, I'm tired of seeing the coaches groom talent just to have another team finally reap the rewards after contract year.
  9. I believe Aiken can be very productive for us, similar to that of a Julian Edelman in New England. The problem being is that you have to use him like the Patriots use Edelman, by that I mean put Kamar in the slot and have him work the middle, hit him with little 3-5 yard dig routes and see if he can get some YAC. But again I think our issues lie on putting the ball in the air to often and not on the ground EFFICIENTLY enough.
  10. I'm all for the continued Defense approach so long as we're hitting on the picks. The Broncos won the super bowl last year in spite of Peyton's terrible play, that defense harassed Cam. I still believe the keys to success is great defensive play, great up front blocking with a solid running game, and above average quarterback play.
  11. They can fill the void at WR by drafting a star interior lineman in the first round to continue improving our run game, and help protect Joe. It's clear cut that Joe is not/nor ever will be a Drew Brees type of player, and by that I mean posting consecutive 5000 yard campaigns. So why not build on his strengths? The year he won the super bowl was his best post season (and arguably the best QB post season ever played) and why? He had solid protection up front and a solid running game. So lets take a page from the Dallas play book and draft big hulking interior lineman and a Viable number one running back and quit with this "Stable of running backs" approach. The passing game will be more efficient this way and will not cause concern for not having "The guy" at WR. Just my two cents.
