  1. Facebook is the worst place to go if you want a conversation about this team everyone is so clueless and I'm pretty sure half of them don't actually watch the games... I've stopped posting here for a little while because of the end of the season but I still check up and see what everyone's talking about this is sad I feel this is the only place I can talk with people who love this team as much as I do

  2. I haven't been on these boards in a couple weeks because there hasn't been much to talk about but when I read this this morning I was so disappointed I loved him and CJ together it's a shame but with that said he is replaceable I'm just happy it's not CJ or someone like that for what we asked of Orr he is replaceable

Ya know what, i actually agree.  I was completely against the notion of him being on the hot seat, but like you said that was mid season, now seeing how things played out, and the decision to keep all coaches, it puts it all on him.  But yet, we still dont actually know.  but i think even if we see a 500 season, something big will happen.  I think it was a mistake to keep Marty, not because i think hes terrible, im in the notion he needs time to put his system in, i just think it shows how unwilling Harbs is to make changes.

I think the point here is for once he is trying to keep the same OC the players seem to like him... have any of you ever thought maybe Harbs asked guys like Joe and Dennis and Marshal and they all decided that maybe some continuity for the this young offense is best I personally think we will be just fine with a full offseason I don't think bringing anyone in will be much different

I dont think Harbaugh is on the hot seat just yet. I like him and all and as our superbowl winning coach he's gonna get a pass most of the time but if next season doesn't go well, that seat is gonna start to sizzle.

I agree he will be here but I think we see all new coaches which really I'm excited for we shall see it'll be interesting.... when do you guys think we will start seeing moves sooner or later?

Don't think you're getting an upgrade from Harbaugh to McVay honestly. Payton is a difference because we've never had an offensive genius outside of Kubiak. But at HC? We could build great things for that.

Wish Payton would take an OC position but he will be someone head coach

I'd love to have Payton, I'll pass on the other two. I just don't see him getting fired this year, would shock me. I feel the same way as you though, I want an offensive genius here so badly, it's what we really need.

I personally love harbaugh I think he is a good head coach he let's his coordinators do there thing and he is just the face of the franchise and a good leader of men and a motivator he isn't a great "coach" he relies on his coordinators for that I really think his coaching isn't the issue because I don't believe he does much of it

Man I know there is no chance but let's bring payton in as OC

Perhaps some of the freaking out is overreacting, but take a look at what is happening on the field. I think fans have a right to be a little upset. I think ownership as even more of a right to be upset. It will be interesting to hear the tone of the State of the Ravens once this extremely disappointing season (based on the way we closed it out) comes to a close.

I get that and I'm a bit deflated watching this and it's obvious the players are except for last year this team always is playing 16 meaningful games that's what everyone has come to love but if you didn't expect deflated players and football you are foolish and if you think this is players giving up on harbaugh you are either foolish or hopeful because you don't like harbaugh you got your answers this morning Marty gone harbaugh is going no where pees while watching this should be gone also

It would go something like this.

We sign Alshon: Holy crap an elite wr. Best we we've ever signed. Ozzie is a genius.

    *alshon tears his ACL*

Aftermath: Damn you Harbaugh for making him injury prone. And damn you Ozzie because you're an Idiot. Let's throw batteries at people and overrun the ravens organization so the fans run this team.

    me: *crylaughs*

I don't see a restructure in his future because as stated there's risk for the player and team. I think a pay cut with the ability to earn his money back + would be the most realistic for both sides like what Pitta got. I don't want us to restructure him either. What if he's never the same? Then we're in a worse situation than now unless the guaranteed money is low and in that case why would he do that? It's pay cut or just cut IMO.

I gues a pay cut was kinda what I was saying like a pay cut with the chance to earn his original contract back by his pay... I think he will do something like that I feel kinda relieved now though knowing he was playing with that makes me feel like he hasn't lost a step him and sizzle healthy will be key we need to keep them healthy

What if we do a one or two year extension and convert that salary to bonus?  Does that make it more appealing, at least money-wise?

    Does it change anything?

No. It means we are scheduled to pay $6M next year to a 32 year old situational pass rusher coming off a torn achilles, which is a difficult injury to recover from.

Which part of that sounds appealing exactly?

I mean we could restructure his contract and a healthy doom and Suggs can prove to be the best one two punch in the league but there are questions of if they both can stay healthy seems to be a trend at the moment that they aren't

He should have rested and not held us back. I'm happy he wanted to fight through the injury but he hurt us more then helped us this season.

I agree to disagree he made some plays out there which really impresses me now knowing the situation we couldn't get any pass rush because our two pass rushers should've been on IR put that into perspective.... that's two tough as nails dudes but I think he takes a pay cut and stays here which makes OLB less of a concern to me I really think we need to sure up the secondary and our WR
