Hmmm...At least one of the six I found showed he did.
Blaming the Patriots for stuff is getting old. But it seems like they just keep doing stuff. Whatever. They're so far in the red this has no impact on my opinion of the team regardless of why he got more time.
The video doesn't show if he had the full 40 seconds.
I've said before, I was behind the Patriots as recently as a year (or 2) ago. Aaron's arrest took away my hometown pride in them, and then they pulled the eligible receiver shenanigans on my favorite team. Then deflate gate. Didn't follow football during spygate, so I didn't care much for that because it seemed they were way past it. Fool me once...
Because (they would argue) those other teams haven't been as successful recently. We're all just jelly. If, as Pats' fans claim, jealousy and envy are the heart of the allegations, why haven't other similarly successful teams been plagued by allegations of cheating?
A Patriots fan's breakdown of where the errors are. Some I hadn't already noticed. Do the Patriots still seem to hang onto the ball exceptionally well? Yes. Were they accused recently of deflating footballs? Yes.Read something interesting:
http://regressing.deadspin.com/why-those-statistics-about-the-patriots-fumbles-are-mos-1681805710
This is the only remaining interesting part to me. I honestly don't care what comes of Brady's suspension. If Bill possesses anti-fumbling aura, the rates should stay the same.As a side note I'm curious to see how their "amazing" tendency to not lose fumbles fares in the coming years. scum bags. lol
Do you feel that way because you've compared to other teams? I'm just curious. If you could mention 16 teams who have done better (ball park estimates perhaps, not necessarily in depth with player analysis) I could decide for myself how true that is. 17th out of 32 teams would be below average and I find it hard to believe we are there. But I have doubts that you are just trolling and maybe I can be wrong.by recent you mean 2010 onwards..draft wise? plenty
we bridge the gap in FA and trades
draft wise though..i feel we have been below average since 2010.
Who are the better GM's to you in recent years? There's gotta quite a few in mind to convince yourself that we've been drafting badly.he is slipping some
Thanks for that lolYou're right. This guy Mosley is a bum. I'm not sure why he or Jernigan are in the NFL. Juszczyk also looks like a waste of a player. I don't know when Wagner will be healthy ever again just like I don't know if Osemele will because he's a major bust. Yanda's so overrated. Grubbs was a bum as well, which is obvious since the Saints jettisoned him to another team he must've sucked amiryt? Maybe if we're lucky Ozzie retires and Steve sells the team and a real owner and GM take over this club. Gosh, then we might win another Super Bowl since Ozzie only brought us two during his tenure and that slave-driving head coach John Harbaugh brought us one off the backs of Billick's guys using his training camps that would make Navy SEAL, DELTA force, Rangers, Green Beret, and the Israeli Special Forces & KGB all cry in pain. We need real leadership in this club!
No problem. Just doing my part and spreading the gospel!
This team is just fine. Seriously count the blessings for once.
The overreaction in here lol. It's preseason.
I'm interested to see where that trend goes now... 2 or 3 years from now.And thereafter the Pats fumble stats miraculously improved way beyond any other teams.
You say this, they say that. But in the end, isn't it still possible Brady is being punished for a reason? It's harder for me to believe that Goodell did all of this just because he hates Brady and the Patriots. He didn't lie at the podium. His phone records confirmed he had never once sent a text, email, or phone call to McNally. So he is not someone he communicated with, and probably knew him around the stadium by his nickname, Bird.
As for the formations, I think it's stupid they were made illegal. It's the constant dumbing down of the league. Coaches and offenses should be allowed to be somewhat creative to catch other teams off guard. If you guys had beat us with that, I would be commending you for your forward thinking and your creative play calling. When you try to keep too much parity in the game and bring everyone to the same level, you start to kill your product.
The cell phone again is unimportant to the case. The NFL never told Brady they wanted the cell phone, they only wanted the records from the phone, which he provided. They have all of the mesages from the Patriots employees phones and the records show that only 3 messages are missing from the month of February out of the 5 phones filled with text messages to and from Tom Brady. So the phone is a non issue, it's a PR game again, by the NFL so Goodell can try and make himself look like he's not a complete [profanity deleted].
As for the plays I'm referring to, a large amount of the success that they had resulted from bad officiating. If I couldn't say that was true, I'd have no complaints. This is the reason they changed the rule. Also, I believe it was tried against the Colts and it was a penalty even before the revision. Wish we had that luxury, but alas.
Knowing Patriots got away with a now illegal set of plays to beat our Ravens and then snickering about it makes it hard for me to feel bad for the guy. That is not the person I enjoy being around, or in this case enjoy supporting. In a sense of karma catching up to him, I'm glad that this headache went to him and not somebody else. In the past, maybe 1.5 years ago at some New Year's Eve party I remember I (drunkenly) told my Patriots fan friend that I think Brady deserves another Super Bowl because I genuinely thought he was a good guy who beat the odds and climbed to the top. Playoffs this year has changed that for me. One thing for certain is that he is not the humble winner I once thought he was. I'm also probably more of a noob than most here - didn't follow football during spygate.
My opinion on Brady's deserving of this WOULD change if I see something that clears his name. I don't intend on reading too many pages of content to validate my opinion until it's all said and done and everything that's out there is everything we'll get. As of right now I ask myself: Would I destroy my cell phone if I was innocent? Would I lie at the podium about knowing these guys? As a non-Patriots fan, I get all the debate you Patriots fans try to bring up. You're a successful team with your integrity in question. However, don't assume we all just want to see you sink. I only want that to happen if he is indeed at fault. If innocent, I root for my team to squash Tom Baby instead of Tom Br*dy. ![]()
it's all in the tl;dr category tooAgain, why are Patriots trolls so concerned with what Ravens fans think? Do they think posting books on our site is going to sway our opinions at this late date?
Hand in the texts or enjoy your asterisk I say!
I swear my Pats fan buddy would argue this is just as bad as eligible receiver deception.Plan executed to perfection - hold them as long as possible. If the flag flies, it's still a safety.
The ruling does not matter at all to me. The only thing Brady can do to remove my self imposed asterisk (as many others do as well) is to provide his text messages exchanged with those 2 guys. If he truly is innocent, that's what he should be willing to do. I'd do it in a heartbeat if it clears anything up.
I'll take a ticket. Place your parameters Sami. It almost seems you're looking forward to him failing just to be right, so it's only fair we have a line so we can tell you if you're wrong.Good post.
I too would like to know at what point does Sami draw the line between bust and no bust.
If it was likely another car that was struck, why is there no second damaged vehicle? Perhaps an agreement between the victim and Spikes? I see no other reasonable explanation that whatever he hit would vanish and have no immediate ties to this situation.Yes. Unless the deer was already down in the road.
Deer hits tend to be more round and as you said a higher point of impact.
In the photos I see a flat surface. A jersey wall or another car or truck.
Might as well, all the cool kids in town are doing it.49ers safety Eric Reid (23-years old and two NFL seasons) has said he has contemplated retirement due to concussions. He has suffered three in two seasons.
I don't think that was the point of the post (to say lock him up right now). He is certainly very stupid. I believe he'll get what he deserves in the end. There was never any charges and just because he messes up (or is stupid) he deserves to be locked up? Wowwwww Society's progressed sof ar.
Depth at cornerback sounds wonderful.
I wonder if this could translate into more injuries :/What you rarely see now is the defense going all out to block an extra point attempt UNLESS it's late in the game and the extra pt ties or give the other team the lead. However, with the extra point attempt being moved back, I can see more teams making a real effort to block the PAT.
Yup, never going to see the organization as anything besides until both Brady and Belichick are gone.Time to face reality and stop buying into the mindless rationalizations. The krafties, belicheat and tommie are all unethical scum bag cheats and anything they have "accomplished" will always be tainted and marked with an asterisk.
Thanks!Happy belated birthday!! Sorry to lump that into this post full of depressing news.

Tanking sounds horrible. How many teams tank and then have a good year after besides Colts? We're on to Cincinnati.
