Gronk is always hurt so I guess it is the same argument applies right.

That's fine you think that. But when they are on the field they are standout players that give 100% effort. If that doesn't earn your appreciation then whatever.

Guess who is not playing again? Jimmy Smith. I guess he'll be out until the season ends, and many of you will continue to think he's so great.:rolleyes:

Oh he's very good.  Look at how the defense has performed in times without him vs with him. Bad luck is all.  Would you also suggest that Gronkowski is not great???

  3. I still remember our last meeting with them in the regular season where we lost like 40-7.  Not a good look.  Then after that it was their "study the rulebook" drive to put us away in the playoffs the following year.

Two wins in a row is enough for them.  And since it's not playoffs yet hopefully we can assume the rulebook exploits don't show up yet.  I know you have them highlighted Bill!

I know this whole "being educated" thing is sort of a fad/trend these days, but some of you should really try it sometime. It has tons of benefits and very few drawbacks.

I tend to agree with most of your arguments. While it would be nice to get Joe at a bargain, that goes for all players on the team.  All QBs who are anyone at all nowadays will get just about what he gets so as long as other teams are doomed in the same way (decent QBs getting huge contracts) a paycut on Joe specifically is not what I want to see.

But if we could get the entire roster to take a 20% paycut that would be sweet.  Why can't the entire roster think about the benefits that could bring?  /sarcasm

  5. Can't say I've ever replied to whoever this is, just sayin.

I think Hill and Weddle would have been awesome but given the circumstances I understand his release.  He has had a few chances at redemption already.  Hopefully he finally learns.

  6. Well if Pats fans can speculate that someone in Baltimore tipped off the Colts on deflating footballs... Maybe this is possible. The move seemed completely idiotic to me. You take the ball there. Not even just in hindsight. I'm not saying I'm buying the theory. Personally I wouldn't bet on it. Just wouldn't be that surprised if it were true.

  7. This might be a first in the history of holdouts. The player, not the team caved in and decided to end his own holdout. That's right, luckily for the 0-2 Seahawks Kam Chancellor has decided to end his own holdout and return to the Seattle Seahawks.

I believe MJD also ended his own holdout.

  8. I could never be proud to predict a terrible record for my own team. There are 31 other teams I can be brutally honest with. Can't say I blame anyone I guess after losing to Oakland but damn football just got here. 0-4 echoing before your team even plays? SMH

Let's get some momentum with a divisional win at home!
