Two, WR Boldin is leaning towards signing with us or we are just comfortable with Chris Moore. Lastly, we will find a Tackle or Guard in the 4th or 5th and and possibly move Alex Lewis to RT depending on who we draft.

In fact I think this is one of the reasons we have not released Watson yet. Bottom line. Max is a bust. Waller is average. Gilmore is an average blocker only. Boyle showed promise but off the field issues. None of these names are game changers. However, if pair Pitta with Howard that will be a serious problem for any defense with speed at WR!

Pros
We need to control the middle of the field by a slot WR or TE. Howard would be featured in the slot alot with Pitta on the field spreading out linebackers for our run game.

I say Ozzie's surprise will be ...................... OJ Howard! Why?
1. If he's available he is BPA
2. Pitta and Howard would be big headaches for any defense.
3. Max is a bust, Gilmore is a blocking tight end!
4. We will save cap space by cutting Watson
5. This is the next best thing to having a dominate slot WR which we need. Wallace and Perriman will stretch the field while TE's do damage in the middle.

If Pitta did not restructure, I'm almost certain we would have drafted OJ Howard. However, Pitta restructured and UW cornerback Sidney Jones is hurt. So its sounds like to me its simple. WR Mike Williams which most likely he won't be there so Derek Barnett or Charles Harris. Second we could trade back and pick the Tackle Ramczyk from Wisconsin to fill Wagner. Any of these players, I'd be excited about.

Being stationed in Georga I made the 4 hour trip to the Ravens Vs Jaguars game last year in Jacksonville. Out of every Raven in the roster Webb was the only one to come show traveling Ravens fans some love at the end of the game. He will be missed!

Assuming he's healthy

1. We can get Mangold for half of what we are going to pay for Wagner!

2. Alex Lewis can fill Wagner's spot.

3. Much easier to find a LG than a RT

4. We can target another position in the earlier rounds and not be worried about picking up a Tackle or Center early.

This just goes to show how difficult the FO's job is! I watched so much film of Elam and was convinced that he was the next Troy Polomalu type safety. Well, I was wrong just like Ozzie and Decosta (not that they needed my opinion). I'm definitely a monday morning GM! Not because i'm a fair weather fan it's because I'm a die hard fan! I hate to rain on the parade, but Williams will not escape the top 10, likely gone by Tennessee at 5. 

Sidney jones is a hopeful and Harris might get overdrafted at 16, but the talent is def there. 

Budda baker is also going I blow up the combine. He likely gets picked at the end of the 1st or top of the second. Very close to a Weddle / Honey Badger like talent.

Agree with your assessment on Budda Baker! I'm not sure why many mock drafts have him in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Point is these players will put us in the driver seat for the AFC North and that's all I care about right now!

Steve Smith leaving will hurt. Not only because of his talent but he's the only one on offense that shows passion! However, I honestly don't think WR is the problem. Our problem was we throw to many short passes under 10 yards! That's the OC fault or our line can't block long enough for the WR's to get down field! I think our route combinations are basic. If Joe is great at throwing the deep ball, why not throw more comeback routes? This pushes the DB's off the WR. This should be Joe's money route because of his big arm and I hardly ever see it! This is all Peyton did in Indy!

I've watched so much film on Matt Elam at Florida. It's extremely hard to believe that he's a bust. I know he can still play. All of a sudden he can't tackle or cover. We are not asking him to be Ed Reed. Just be a solid safety. I'd rather see Elam then Webb all day long!

JT is fearless! With the game on the line he casually walks up, kicks a perfect ball and goes home like it was nothing!
