The reason why sites like this close down  due to lack of people is very simple. It is because a lot of people who come 

to these sites to read and try to get into discussion are always put down by the very FEW and SAME people that always dominate

and act as if their opinion is the only one that matters. If you disagree with them you get talked about and ridiculed as if

you didn't know a thing about football.... And lord forbid if you say one wrong thing about the Ravens. It is either you 

just agree with everything and anything the same 5 or 6 people say that act as if they own the site or say nothing.

       This was basically the same thing I read on the Scout Forum a while back as well.  They would say that the place

became a ghost town and wondered why. It was the same reason. A few know it alls that spoiled it for everyone else.

So it has nothing to do with advertising, more exposure, etc. ...it has to do with allowing the same very few people dominate

everything with their opinions get away with it and drive everyone else away. That is what happens to these sites. It is as if

these people have no life and have to voice their opinion on every single subject that comes up. And as stated always act as if 

their opinion is the best and only one.

       I used to sit in seats at Ravens stadium that were adjacent to a lone seat  that wasn't owned by a PSL. The best thing

that happened was that a lot of times it usually sold on game day to an opposing fan. At first that seemed like a bad thing...

but eventually I learned that I got better insight and talk from someone with a different opinion about not only their team 

but the Ravens as well because they weren't biased and gave opinions that were way different then a purple kool-aid 

drinking Ravens fan. So eventually I hoped that the person buying the seat would be someone from the other team as I had

better conversation and friendly rivalry with them. 

     These sites block those kind of people. They only allow Ravens fans and set up so many rules about what you can say or

not say that after a while it sounds like a Leave It To Beaver TV Show. "Golly gee Wally the R avens are really neat" .. "Yeah, 

I know Beave" ... But let Eddie Haskell show up and it all goes down hill and he is told to go home.....

       Hopefully, someone opens a site where people can voice their opinions good or bad and stop the few no-it-alls that dominate

and ruin them.

unbelievable and all on him...and he shows nothing...

no wonder he isn't elite.... What a joke he is.

You know the patriots are a losing team...end of the 3rd quarter and they already have 3

trick plays they have pulled.... They are desperate for a win.... 

What at does this have to do with the ravens you ask... This is the type of coach 

Harbaugh is... Sad when a coach gives up on a team... Even if it is the mighty patriots coach

who have never been there or won get the chance to do so...

When my sister in law was in hospice care at Stella Maris we wanted to have a Baltimore Raven player visit her as she was a huge fan of the Ravens .... Back then it was possible to actually call the Ravens organization and ask for Dave Modell ... And they would actually get him if he was available to the phone... And this was for anyone regardless if he knew who you were or not.... When he answered we told him of my sister in laws situation and he stated he couldn't promise but he would certainly try to ask one of the players to come and visit her... It was up to them... Long story short... He had one of the players visit... When that player said he was there to visit my sister in law not only her but the entire place and staff gate here's round... And all because David Modell made It possible.... He made himself accessible to everyone regardless of who you were... I will never forget him for this.... 

Sorry his life ended so soon.... Wish more people were like him.

Because if said guy is hoping for a HC job, would you have been willing to wait until all the HC vacancies had been filled to conduct interviews, and then if said candidate(s) dont get a HC job, then also have to contend with all the job opps with new staffs being filled, and other OC holes being filled? Because in this event, Marty is going to interview elsewhere as well. He's not going to wait until we decide if we want him or not, because if we find someone else then he's screwed.

So, would you have been ok if Marty got hired elsewhere and we didnt McCoy, Norv, or (really idk what other candidates ppl are even interested in over Marty at this point, that are actually realistic) whoever else? 

 

Its fun to complain that we dont want Marty back... but whats practical is identifying a real solution to the problem, and then evaluating the potential repercussions,. risk vs reward of that scenario. And, to be honest, i dont know how with the current landscape you could prefer the devil you dont know with that process over the devil you do with Marty.... unless you're truly of the mindset that anything  was better than him.

...and to keep him proves what?... He is no better then the ones that came before him... Flacco needs someone that plays to his

strengths and designs plays that make him perform at his best..... So to just keep someone again and say give them a chance one more year is ridiculous.... I would like them to take a chance on ANYBODY ... what harm can it do... We already know the results 

for next year... Same crap and same losses.... Biscotti needs to clean the entire house and start fresh... Hopefully with someone

that thinks outside the box and would take us in another direction....  And at this point I could care less if he got a high school coaching staff..... It wouldn't be any worse then it is now....

all of you that keep saying one more year...that has been going on now for how many years?.... And still the same results...

same as with the bengals with Marvin Lewis... They keep him and what good does it do the bengals... They should be the division champs but because of his poor coaching and leadership skills they seldom make the playoffs and when they do it is one and done..... 

Yeah this is a classic game .... Meeting of the mindless coaches that their stupid owners keep around 

until their teams go so far downhill they end up being a shell of what they once were.... 

Maybe Hardhead and Marvin laughingstock Lewis can get together and open up a hot dog stand...

Yeah, it's always one more year and the same crap... Harbaugh never was a great coach...once the pieces that were in place left he 

was shown for what he really is... A nobody... Release him and what team in their right mind would take him as a head coach....answer: nobody..... He wouldn't even be a good special teams coach anymore... 

Instead of the hot seat put him on the toilet seat and flush him with the rest of the Waste products coaching staff..

especially with that leak or as he is know Pees... appropriate name for toilet waste isn't it?

and hopefully Biscotti will say that to Harbaugh even if we win out and make the playoffs....

I hope whoever is fielding kickoffs ALWAYS and I mean always takes a knee and we start on the 25 yard line...

tired of biting my nails every damn time the ball is kicked praying it goes into the end zone and we stay there instead of running it out.... Seems whenever we run it out we don't get much and then on top of it we either fumble or have a penalty that moves us back to like the 5 yard line... And when we are that far back it seems we always get stuck back there and when we punt the ball the other team gets great field position.... 

I see no reason for us or any team to ever run the ball out.... The only time would be if a team is down by at least 14 points or near the end of the game and has to hoping to have a TD... Or try to get into field goal range to tie or win the game....

No... And no matter if the steelers win they are a disgrace to the division as well... 

They really don't beat a team... The teams they play beat themselves...

The afc north is a complete joke... 

Whoever wins is a one a done....

I men how long and why do they put up with him as a head coach... 

That is my fear with Harbaugh... Hopefully we aren't the second coming 

of the bengals...in this type matter.

yeah they are really inspired by his play calling....

The good: nothing ...defense was the worse they ever have been... I don't ever remember them letting a RB get that much yardage so easily. (Also goes under the bad)

the bad: Harbaugh still being our head coach. Almost lost another game because of his allowing the OC to pass when all we had to do was run the ball and eat up the clock and at least come away with 3. He already cost us at least 2 games and therefore we would have already won our division ... 

Also, special teams... Terrible... 

And could someone please tell the returner to just take a knee in the end zone and go to the 25 yard line...

the ugly: everything about this game... And the thought that Harbaugh probably will not be fired after this season... 

He is a terrible coach .... He gets out coached by every team he plays.... I am tired of seeing his Whitney face when he is the cause of it all... And of course when he does the press conference he will never say anything about how terrible a coach he is....

and flacco...hey joe, keep it in your pants...ever since you had kids you stopped being any good and wanting to play the game the way it should be played.... You lost your spark....

Perhaps if we are on the one yard line and West or another running back fumbles the ball and he recovers it in the end zone...

Other then that we are lucky if he even catches a ball for a first down as he seems to not even know where those yard sticks

are located as he always comes up short on third downs by a yard or so....

I would like to see him benched and cut.... 

For some reason I do not see why people think that Jimmy Smith is all that great... I personally do not see it.

most here believe the minute he steps on the field our troubles are over. I have seen him get beat just as many

times as the other corners we have... So someone explain to me what they see in him that I do not.

also, if a team really wants to beat us all they need do is pass... Don 't even attempt to run the ball... 

The ravens can stop the run with no problem... But even if a team runs the ball on the first two downs and still needs 10 

yards or more they usually make it on third down as long as they pass.... 

So regardless if Jimmy Smith plays or not to me doesn't matter.... Any team that passes will beat us with no problem

at all... And can march down a field in a matter of minutes if they do so.... The ravens regardless who we have as corners can not 

stop the passing game of any team with any QB even if it is the worse one in the league....

if the dolphins pass over 75% of the time they win... And the only reason they would not pass then is if their QB's

arm gets tired or he is laughing too hard at the ravens secondary...

That said  hope the ravens somehow manage to run the ball a lot and have success with it so they can keep the 

dolphins off the field.... Then we may have a chance.

Ever since Flacco got the big money and had children that is when he seemed to have changed for the worse...

seems like once he got the money to be financially set and had kids his priorities changed big time.

I guess his wife now rules and tells him to be careful and gives him such a long shopping list and 

chores to do around the home that he just doesn't have time to plan and be the old Flacco anymore.

in the past when he was being rushed he would try to scramble out of it and make a play... Now he

just basically will go down and lay in a fetal position and give up.
