Did Joe Linta put new figures in invisible ink on the contract? Did he hold a gun to the head of the Ravens' FO? From what I read, Flacco would have signed for $16 million a year, but the Ravens balked over a difference of a million dollars in one of the later years. And he's not getting HOF money; he got "going rate" money on a contract he signed after a historically great postseason run and SB MVP. He took a chance, bet on himself and came up big in 2012. Joe drives me to distraction, too. But he and Linda didn't dupe anybody. That's nonsense.
