  1. Ozzie blew it big time in last year's draft. He had a chance to shore up one of the most important positions on the team and did nothing. Jalen Ramsey was the con-census top DB in the draft last year. His play this season only re-enforced that. Rumor had it that Ozzie called Dallas and tried to jump ahead of Jacksonville in order to take Ramsey but Ozzie abandoned the idea when Dallas wanted their 3rd pick. He refused to do it and Jacksonville took Ramsey 5th pick in the draft. Now I am not saying that Stanley will not be a long term answer at left tackle but it is harder to find a top DB than a pretty good offensive tackle.
  2. I guess it really doesn't matter. The OC isn't constantly throwing off his back foot. Flacco is so inaccurate that he couldn't hit an elephant with a handful of rice. Let's face it the only thing all 5 coordinators have in common is Flacco is their QB. Maybe the problem is Flacco.
  3. I think it is time for a change. Being 31-32 since winning it all doesn't cut it. I don't trust John to go out a find a good O.C. because he hasn't done so (except for Kubiack) since he has been here. John has a history of picking coordinators who are old and are not a threat to his job ( Cam Cameron, Caldwell, Trestman, Old Man Mattis and Pees). If I am SB the first person I call for an interview is the person Harbaugh should have hired as his Offensive Coordinator instead of Trestman, that being Kyle Shanahan. He would not only be my Head Coach but also my OC. Maybe he can straighten out Joe so that he becomes a much more consistent performer.
  4. You call Derek Carr and Dak Prescott really good QBs? One is a rookie and the other is average at best. No excuses for this garbage team. Where have you been at all year. Carr completed 64% of his passes for 3900 yds, 28 TDs and only 6 interceptions. Before yesterday he was being given serious MVP consideration. So yes, I consider him a really good QB.
  5. The 4th quarter was as bad as I have ever seen the Ravens play on defense in the last 10 years. You give up 240 yards on 21 plays and 3 TDs in one quarter. Who does that? That's over 12 yards pr play The Browns' defense would have put up more of a battle. Horrendous. Everyone wants to blame Flacco when we lose but we put up enough points against the Steelers today, against Oakland and against the Giants to have won all 3 of those games. Every time the defense faced a really good QB (Derek Carr, Brady, Big Ben, Dak Prescott) they got their lunch handed to them They played 8 games against teams with a winning record and went 2-6. I guess when you lose to the woeful Jets you don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
  6. They should forbid Ozzie from making second round picks anymore. He has wiffed more times than Chris Davis with second rounders. Since 2010 we have had 8 second round picks. Winners 1. Torrie Smith 2. K.O. 3. Jernigan Losers 1. Correa 2. Maxx Williams 3. Arthur Brown 4. Sergio Kindle 5. Terrence (Dog abuser) Cody When you throw in his other high picks that have bombed out like Elam, Carl Davis, Ed Dickson, Jah Reid, Bernard Pierce and Terrence Brooks. it's no wonder this team has struggled since winning the Super Bowl.
  7. It's not Harbaugh but rather the players he has been given by Ozzie and DeCosta the last 4-5 years. Ozzie needs to be relieved of his duties and he can take DeCosta with him.
  8. Hey Ryan, don't blame it on the offensive line and him getting hit too much. If anything it goes back to last year when he sustained his knee injury.. The first 3 games when Flacco had all of his starters playing on the o line his Qb rating was 100 against Buffalo, 72 against Cleveland and 64 against the Jags. The fact is Flacco is skittish in the pocket. Everyone can see that. The least amount of pressure and he is looking to unload which causes his throws to be either in the ground, behind the intended target or over their heads.
  9. Flacco has stunk up the joint since the Super Bowl win. It doesn't look to me like his heart is in it any more. He got a Super Bowl ring and a mega contract so now it looks to me like he is going through the motions. He obviously gets happy feet as soon as he feels a little pressure, resulting in throws behind the receiver, into the ground or 3 feet over the receiver's head. The game last week was a prime example. Mike Wallace was wide open at the 8 yard line at the end of the game and he throws it 5 feet over his head and he wasn't even being pressured. Oakland game first down at mid field with 40 seconds, needing a FG to win the game. Basically all he needed was another 10 yards to give Tucker a decent shot at the win. Flacco throws 4 straight that were incomplete, game over. The point is the Ravens would be 5-2 with a decent QB and probably 7-0 with an excellent QB. Since we will probably be drafting in the top 7 or 8 picks this year, I hope the Ravens take the best QB available, let him sit for one year behind Flacco and then cut Flacco loose and let the new QB take over. If I was SB I would clean house starting with Ozzie, Harbaugh and DeCosta when the season ends. Ozzie hasn't had a good draft since 2008 if the truth be told.
  10. Perriman dropped another one today. That is 3 drops in the last 2 games. I think he hears footsteps when he goes over the middle.
  11. I agree with you about the offensive line. Hurst is a dumpster fire and Jensen isn't much better. They know Yanda is their best lineman. Why not shift him to left tackle and put Urschel in to play Yanda's spot.
  12. Harbaugh screwed that one up royally. If Billy Cundiff was their kicker I sat take the penalty but with Janakowski he can make it just as easy from 53 as he could from 33. But be that as it may if Flacco could have gotten another 10 yards we would have had a good shot at JT kicking a 57 yarder. Paying him $20 million a year and he can't pick up 10 yards on 4 downs. Unfreakingbelievable.
