  1. I don't think you told anyone anything they don't already know. Many on here, myself included, believe that Ross wouldn't be a good fit here, and that there are some concerns about him. But I haven't seen anyone say Ross doesn't have the potential to be an explosive playmaker in the NFL.
  2. True, it'd be better to say if he falls that far, I don't want him.
  3. It won't matter as there is no chance Allen falls that far.
  4. Looks fairly realistic, and Williams falls to us even with Jonathan Allen falling to 17. If all 3 running backs and at least 1 qb is taken before us we are going to get someone we really want at 16, and it's exciting to think about.
  5. Hahaha "he doesn't belong in public". The desire for him stems from him being Jim Kelly's nephew, as well as the kid also having obvious talent that can be had in such a late round. But you are right, he's nothing close to a stand up guy and unless he completely turns his life around there's no room for him in the NFL.
  6. McCaffery is now apparently being slated as a top 10 pick. I think it's rather interesting how rapidly his stock is rising. I just don't really see it. Peter Schrager on Twitter says "Here's one for Wednesday night. Heard from multiple front office execs over last few days. Feeling is now Christian McCaffery goes Top 10."
  7. I think you can definitely make a case for the Saints picking Reddick over Barnett.
  8. Man that whole 1 inch.
  9. If he stays healthy, I think he could have a huge impact.
  10. This is my attempt at a 2nd Mock Draft. Don't mind the title as I don't know where that came from or why I chose it. Round 1 - Forrest Lamp OG WKU I see a lot of people are putting Lamp at 16, and I'm really starting to get excited thinking about how great our Oline could be with all the young guys being infused into it lately. Lamp is a day 1 starter at guard and I think he can be our Yanda of the future (although that's dreaming big because Yanda very well might be the best guard in the past decade). I would prefer Barnett or MWill here, and I could potentially see us trading up with out #74 pick for one of them. Round 2 - Demarcus Walker DE Florida St. This is a questionable pick, and probably won't be favorable. But he has a lot of potential and I think with some work he can be productive on the edge. Round 3 - Pat Elflein C Ohio St Elflein, Lamp, Stanley, Lewis, Yanda. Holy freakin cow. Although if we sign Mangold we could go CB. Other round 3 - JuJu Smith-Schuster WR USC I really like this kid. He's still really young and I think with some improvements on his route running, he can be really good. Perriman and Smith-Schuster for years to come would be rather nice. Round 4 - Ahkello Witherspoon CB Colorado Mad coverage skills. Poor tackler, but a steal in the 4th. Round 5 - Lorenzo Jerome S St. Francis He might be gone in the fourth, and if so we should pick him in the fourth. He could be a great successor to Weddle and we would have a great young secondary.
  11. So you are trying to say the Brandon Williams is just a "fat guy". That's kind of disrespectful.
  12. It really depends on the type of injuries really. Like Lattimore's past hamstring injuries, which tend to linger, are more concerning then some other random injuries.
  13. If you are high on him at least spell his name right
  14. Yeah I definitely agree that with all the talent in this draft its kind of hard to differentiate whether players will go between like mid second and late third/early fourth.
  15. Tali is basically not on the team with all his injury problems.
  16. Well that's why I said if we sign Mangold that might change some things. I think Lewis is better suited to be our RT than a guard, he just needs some work, he was only a rookie. If we don't sign Mangold, I see no problem with taking Lamp and Elfien, as they would play two different positons. Unless we put Lamp at Center, which is a possibility.
  17. Because he is fast.
  18. I'm sorry, I didn't realize you know what's been going on in the FO. None of what you just said is a fact, you are guessing. No one said the Eagles really wanted Jernigan. For all we know the two teams have been talking for weeks.
  19. He was hurt...
  20. I have mixed feelings about this. Jernigan was one of my favorite players on the team but he was likely gone after this year. His impact was minimal the entire second half of the season. As far as the swapping of picks, of course I would rather have a pick straight up. But he isn't worth a 3rd, and the swap is as good if not better than a straight up 4th. Quality is better than quantity in terms of picks, and we can definitely get a 2nd round player with the 74th pick. The difference between a really late 3rd and an early 3rd is rather big. That swap could very well be the difference in us being able to get Eiflen or another great prospect in the 3rd, rather than watching those guys leave the board. That pick is also worth a ton more than the 99th, and we very well might use that to trade up in the 1st to grab a guy like Mike Williams or Barnett. I'm really excited to see Urban healthy, I think he could be just as good or better than Guy. If we have Urban, Williams, and Pierce starting, that is a huge Dline and would be awesome in my opinion. Throw in guys like Henry, Davis, and Kaufusi, and I don't think we will miss Jernigan too much.
  21. He did nothing in the last 7 games even.
  22. Im really starting to like the idea of grabbing Lamp in the 1st if the likes of Barnett, Williams etc are gone.
  23. Would be a pretty good looking draft, although if we picked up Reddick I don't think it would be to play ILB.
  24. Yeah I really like Jarrad Davis but I just don't trust his durability, similar situation with Lattimore.
  25. Unfortunately you are probably right.
