  1. Am I the only one that's kind of getting worried that Cleveland will soon be competitive with the rest of the division? With 2 first round picks this year, a ton of cap space, and already a decent roster, the fact that the Browns could soon be a semi competitive team has me worried. The AFC North is tough enough already. But hey maybe we can get lucky and the Bengals will collapse or something.
  2. Tampa Bay Bucs S Anthony Levine 1.5 stars
  3. Tampa Bay Bucs S Christopher Conte 2 stars
  4. Tampa Bay Bucs CB Terance Newman 2.5 stars
  5. You stated Elam NEVER switched positions, I simply said he did. Never said that's why he didn't work.
  6. Exactly
  7. Elam was forced to play FS actually, so yes he was.
  8. Quite a bit, actually. You saying these things makes me think you didn't really watch him. He had his missed tackles, similar to his time with the Ravens, but he was well known for his big hits and great instincts inside the box. I don't know how you can say you know he wasn't gonna make it. He wasn't projected as a late 1st, early 2nd round pick for no reason? The Ravens used him wrong as he was forced into the FS spot instead of SS where everyone else knew he belonged. He was eventually switched back to SS but it hurt his development nonetheless. I'm not saying Elam ever played well for the Ravens by any means, as his numerous missed tackles were painful to watch, but he did have potential.
  9. He was never a sure tackler in college, actually. That was always one of his biggest problems, he'd be too busy going for the big hit instead of a sure tackle. Although I do believe he could have succeeded if the Ravens didn't handle the situation so poorly. He was made to be a SS and play in the box, but they put him at FS and we all know the rest.
  10. Part of me was holding onto hope that maybe Elam could become what he was in college, and before that injury last year i kinda got my hopes up. Oh well.
  11. I keep thinking the same thing. With Dixon on the team, I have pretty much zero interest in picking Cook with #16.
  12. If Barnett somehow falls to us we will be extremely lucky and I will be extremely happy. He is a beast.

  19. I just don't think it's necessary to bring in 2 guys like that and keep Wallace. Want to bring in Marshall and Garcon? Sure, but Wallace has gotta go now. There's no reason to keep paying him 7 or 8 million when we have a 1st round rookie who NEEDS to be fed targets. Breshad would be pushed back to 4th on the depth chart, and that would be ridiculous. This is his 3rd year and we need to see if he will be our future guy. You don't draft a 1st round receiver to sit on the bench and never get a shot, especially when they show great potential like he has. I would like the WR position to go like this: Bring in Britt, Garcon, or Marshall, or even a Kendall Wright. There's also Boldin who I wouldn't mind playing his last years here. Wallace was developing nice chemistry with Flacco, so if he can take a pay cut of a few mil then keep him. If not maybe sign 2 of them but Perriman has got to be the #3 at least, but I'd really like him to be our #2. I think we need to rely heavily on our TEs if they can stay healthy which would diminish the need for 2 more receivers. Maybe draft a guy like Kupp, only bring in one FA WR, let go of Wallace, and let that money go to Wagner/Williams.
  20. I'll try and be optimistic haha.
  21. I'll also take up a spot as an alternate. Was looking forward to this 🙄
  22. It's gotta be Dixon for me. Watching him progress as the year went along, watching him consistently breaking tackles and almost never going down on first contact, gets me pretty pumped to see what he can do with his rookie season under his belt. If we beef up the Oline and perhaps get a decent center in here after watching Zuttah regress, he can have a stellar year next season. I truly don't understand the buzz for another running back. If Dixon and West aren't consistently being hit in the back field I do believe they'd break more long runs. I think we need to focus this offseason on other needs.
  23. Can someone tell me how, with these stats, Jimmy is still so underrated. When healthy I honestly think he's our best player on defense.
  24. I just want him to get a chance at a 65 or 66 yarder. He deserves the record.
  25. Agreed
