  1. I like it. Not completely ideal but I like it. If pocic gets stronger he would be perennial pro bowler at multiple positions. But with his height he has to get stronger. It's amazing he generates the leverage he can at 6'7. If he can grow into that frame he would be really really dominant.

i would prefer a cornerback and safety to 2 cornerbacks unless one could convert to free safety. In round6 I would prefer take a chance on small school athletic Linebacker to begin coaching up.

  2. Good thread idea that needs a bump. And let's add to it. Not only players cooled on but players warmed up to. Players you changed your opinion on as it gets closer to D Day. I know as everybody watches more tape analysis of players move.

The players I have cooled and heated up to I believe some here will agree on.

Forrest Lamp.He was really hyped up around combine time. And many bought in. But when I watched the complete game against Bama I wasn't impressed. Don't get me wrong he is going to be a good player in the NFL. But the Zack Martin comparisons are totally ridiculous.

On contrary I heated up to Garrett Bolles. He is more athletic and holds blocks better. And is only scratching the surface of his potential. When he fills out to a normal 305-310 lb Tackle he is going to be a monster. He surprisingly gets movement in run game at under 300lbs and rarely is pushed back. This dude moves and bends like a far smaller player can bend. Freakishly athletic for 6'5 1/2.  If he were 23 and played D1 every year of his college career he would be closer to his ideal prototypical 310 lbs. and he would by far be the consensus NO.2 pick in draft behind only Garrett. If we took him at 16 I would be fine with it. He is 24 but will play 10 yrs at left tackle. He is one of those players that can lose a step and yet be more than athletic enough to play at an elite level.

I love Bolles. Best Run Blocker in this class by far. No other lineman in this draft has his instincts, ability to get to the second level, or his edge. Not an Anderson guy though. Still + from me though.

Agree. If Bolles grows into his frame like Lane Johnson did he will be a perennial pro bowler. Most athletic tackle since Ogden. The dude is fluid and fluid. He can bend like a smaller player. With his explosion and athleticism he always initiates contact. Most surprising thing about his play is the movement he gets in run game for a player under 300 lbs. He has the frame to add weight.

And scouts project him to once he gets to his NFL team. When he bulks up to the size of a prototypical tackle he will be a monster. If Bolles were 22 yrs old and played his college career in D1 school that partially bulked him up closer to a normal 305-310 he would be drafted after Garrett overall.

    Chad Johnson

thats my comp for Davis and I stand by it.

Dont think he'll be as great as chad was for a stretch, but his play is reminiscent

Corey Davis is my favorite WR in the draft and would like him at 16. But in what way do you compare him to  Chad Johnson?? I compare him to WRs like Amari Cooper, bigger Jeremy Maclin and even Terrell Owens with how he can win with route separation/size/run after the catch elusiveness for a big WR.

    not a great draft IMO.

    No game changers here.

True, However he is correct on Bolles. He is as fast, flexible, nasty and athletic a tackle you will find! If Bolles were stronger and grown into his frame like 310-315 range he would be a top5 pick. And probably Would go directly after  Myles Garrett.

Try going with Pete Carroll smokescreen. Didn't even take him in round2. A good 3 cone but his numbers outside of that were pedestrian. And 3cone is far from tell all. You have some non mobile QBs posting great 3 cones. In 4-3 alignments strength wasn't his game. Now you are talking about playing him in a 3-4 where more is required. Length isn't jack if he isn't stout enough. Harbaugh said he looks good. Good as in bulked up for interior line?Lost some weight for edge rushing? Not saying lot

Walter Football has been doing prospect stock watches and they're pretty insightful. I'd recommend all to check them out.

Apparently most of the teams theyve talked to have Humphrey as the 2nd CB and some have him rated higher than Lattimore. A couple teams theyve spoken to have Humphrey in play for their pick in the Top 10. Theyre expecting him to go much higher than most expect.

Taco Charlton is another one where their sources are telling them he will almost definitely go in the 6-14 range... almost assuredly ahead of Barnett. Another surprise is that theyre hearing that Charles Harris is often seen as the 2nd pure edge rusher for 4-3 teams behind Garret (Solomon Thomas being classified as more of an interior rusher). Theyve heard hes in play for a quite a few mid-1st round teams.

Chidobe Awuzie is another thats really high on some boards and low 3rd on others... but some teams in the mid-1st to the 20's have him in the conversation for their pick.

And Reuben Foster is lower on a lot of boards than most would expect. Theyre reporting that up to half of the teams theyve talked to have Jarrad Davis as the 1st LB on their board.... with Foster very much a boom/bust prospect.

Of course some, most or all of this could be smoke screen, bad sources, or simply conjecture.... but i think draft day is going to be full of surprises.

I like Charles Harris better than most here. But mid round one is little high for him. I could actually see Foster falling. A one year player who is a touch on smallish side. He is compared to Willis Bowman who play slightly more physical than Kuechly and Mosley. But he isn't quite as big as those players. So he could fall to 13-20 range

  8. Dorian Johnson is an all around Guard/center that may be able to play RT. He is very athletic for zone schemes and he can drive his opponent off the ball.  He isn't in any mocks and nobody is talking about him. He may be better than Lamp who is overrated in my opinion. Lamp can play in the NFL. But the Zack Martin comparisons are totally ludicrous my opinion.

The edge rushers from IL. have potential. Phillips and Smoot. Need to add a little power but are very athletic flexible and explosive. At this point are only 3-4 rush olbs. Have to get stronger before playing on the line across from 315lb lineman

  9. Myles Garrett. His matchup with Stanley will be interesting. But Browns will move him around. We need to find a really good RT

HN brought up a good point. A good safety on the Bengals would negate the deep throws. And that is trouble when there is no receiver known for early separation and nobody to make tough traffic catches.

I hope Bengals draft Barnett. He is a technician and a touch on the small side. Stanley handles technicians quite well. He is ready for mostly any move. Stanley would swallow Barnett up with no problem. Barnett to Bengals is  likely

Mcdowell is a touch overrated at this point. But he will likely feast on weak offensive lines. He will be trouble unless ravens address the the offensive line.

Middle rounds. The guy is a beast. He might go late first. Middle of the second at the latest. He James Harrison 2.0

I agree!! One of my favorite players in the draft!! It would be so totally cool if we got him in round2. He is a little under the radar. So we can trade back to late round1 and get him there or at 47. Unless Corey Davis/Foster is there at 16 I'm in favor of trading back and picking up some extra picks. And Lawson is one of the players ravens should target in round 2. He could be available in early round2 but. Not a chance he is available later.

We just can't get a game where two prospects face each others and claim the one having the better day is the better prospect. If it was that easy then Shaq Lawson would be hands down more valuable than Tunsil since the guy obliterated our LT one year ago. I got fooled by such a 1 on 1 match up and made a big deal off it. I think we have to evaluate the prospects' traits more than the singolar performance.

Who obliterated our Left Tackle one year ago?  I agree on evaluating traits over performance. Especially with tackles coaching in college being terrible. Not many tackles can play as a rookie. If Barnett and Cam play couple yrs later it could be a different game. Many tackles are backups while needing coaching refinement and  often needing to get stronger. David Baktarhi is an example.

Quincy Wilson, Rivers, Godwin, Feeney, Curti Samuel just to name some more.  So much talent in this draft, trading back is enticing

Feeney will be a great center!! Not his college position but he could play center position at all pro level.

  13. A team wants trade up for a QB. Ravens trade down to late round 1 and pick up an extra round 2 and maybe  round3. Giving us 2 round2 picks and 3 round3 picks. And load up on top50 talents like JuJu/Ardarius Stewart, Moton, Conley,White,Njoku/Engram,Jarred Davis,Carl Lawson/Charles Harris/Tim Williams,Ogunjobi . Some examples of the players available!

Alright, it's mock time! Don't think Foster will last past Bengals (9), Saints (10) and Colts (15). Here's my dream mock.

Round 1 (16) - Corey Davis WR WMU
Round 2 (47) - Carl Lawson DE Auburn
Round 3 (74) - Antonio Garcia OT Troy
Round 3 (78) - Ahkello Witherspoon CB Colorado
Round 4 (110)* - Anthony Walker Jr. ILB Northwestern
    Round 5 (159) - Cameron Tom C Southern Mississippi

Davis is a stud #1 receiver. If he makes it to 16 great. I'd actually prefer Mike Williams but he'll be gone. Lawson is a stud 5 star recruit to Auburn, has battled 2 separate major injuries but we take the gamble that he'll stay healthy and are rewarded with a double digit sack guy for the next 4 years.

Antonio Garcia from Troy would be an absolute steal at #74. Would replace Wagner at right tackle right away. Witherspoon is a kind of raw player but at 6'3" 200lbs with really long arms and a 41" vertical, let's hope we can develop his skills.

We have to trade up about 10 spots in the 4th to #110ish for Anthony Walker Jr, giving up our 6th round pick #186. High energy ball hawk ILB. The fact that he got a little too muscular and lost some agility drops him from a 2nd rounder in 16' to a early 4th rounder in 17', we take advantage and he returns to form.

Finally I love the upside of C Cameron Tom from Southern Mississippi. Probably the most agile interior lineman in the draft, great for zone blocking scheme. Might need a year to develop and bulk up 10lbs, but after getting LT Stanley and LG Lewis last year and RT Garcia and C Tom this year (add in RG Yanda) with the right coaching and you could have a top 3 NFL offensive line for years to come.

That is an awesome mock. Garcia needs to bulk up for NFL but has everything you want in your Right Tackle.

I'm not googling for you. You're the one that claimed "many are speculating" he'll be traded. Who?

And I clearly said it'd be awesome to have Gronk. It was literally my first sentence.

You listed a bunch of WRs and ask how will they fit Gronk in. Hmmm... idk. How do you work your all world TE into the mix when you've got Chris Hogan who needs his touches!

Im acting like it's a bad idea bc it's low hanging fruit and never going to happen.

Let's trade a 2nd for Odell Beckham! I mean they just signed Marshall... all those weapons. They probably don't want to resign him. And those antics on the sideline.... they're growing tired of it - amirite???

Dont tell me that can't happen or you're a homer. Guess you'd rather sign a 36 year old Boldin than an in his prime game breaker like Beckham.

CBS, espn NFL bleacher report have all speculated. I like Boldin. One of my favorites. But don't want him back. Prefer the 23 yr old version Boldin.

Jeremy Maclin is very realistic. KC likes its young WRs and with cap situation could trade him.

Yes adding Gronk would be awesome. But it's not happening.

Who are the "many" that are speculating he'll be traded? Can you cite them?

And they won without him but with Bennett. Bennett's gone. He's Brady's best weapon and makes them a far more dangerous team.

They have no reason to move him. They have plenty of cap space so the cap dump is a moot point.

Its not happening. Doesn't make much sense for either side. Fantasy is fun but let's get back to predictions for the draft.... and ones that have even a slight possibility of happening.

You talk like it's a bad idea. You don't like 27 yr old All pro playmakers??Adding Gronk makes no sense? If he were 33 yrs old and cut then it would make sense right?? Cite who?? Seriously?? Google Gronk Trade and see what you find. Not saying it's going to happen but Belichick is making a lot of moves. He could be changing the offense altogether. How do you fit in all those weapons. Edelman, Hogan, The ascending Mitchell, Allen, Cooks, Gronk. Similar to when Moss was traded when Gronk/Hernandez arrived and patriots moved to a 2TE offense.

Dont you think if BB wants to get rid of a player, there is a pretty good damn reason why? A lot of things would be awesome, like talking to my dog, but the chances are about the same and honestly talking to my dog might be easier.

Belichick is known for trading players more than anybody. Trading Gronk out of nowhere wouldn't surprise.

Who said Belichick had a problem with Wrestlemania other than media speculating?

They aren't trading Gronk unless it's for compensation that wows them. A 1st rd pick is probably the starting point.

And we're not giving up that sort of compensation for a frequently injured player on a big contract.

If you don't like 0% chance... fine. But it's not any better than maybe a 4-5% chance.

Patriots won without him. And with latest injury Belichick may want to unload his salary. Not likely. But many are speculating Belichick at least considering trading Gronk. With injuries he will not command round1 pick. A round2 could maybe pull it off. Whatever the % chance is. Adding Gronk would be awesome for the offense.

Move up. Not get a 3rd rounder. Like, Maxx or Gilmore and our 3rd round pick (original or Eagles) for someone else's third round pick. Maybe throw in our 6th round pick to help sweeten the deal.

Our TE's have little to zero trade value. Max is only one anybody could have interest in. He has very good skill level but everything I read says he is lazy with poor workout and eating habits. He coasted on natural skill in college. It's a shame to cuz he has top5 TE raw skill level. He is fast and slippery for a big TE that is slightly out of shape. He has awesome hands and ball skills. And he has very good instincts and reading of coverage. He knows where to go and settle in. If he worked like Gronk he could challenge for all pro.

At 6'5 255lbs he could run and play at 4.58-4.63 range with silky smooth slippery style. Raven offense counting him getting his act together. If we did trade for Gronk and Max adopted his work ethic could you imagine our offense? Then Boyle playing fullback with Dixon an elite receiving threat. And that is before factoring in the WR's. As in drafting Ardarius Stewart/JuJu/Davis. And maybe Chris Moore coming to his own. Lots Potential
