  1. Your analysis of players I want sucks. I want Watkins. Lee is a constellation prize!! I'm thinking the trade for him will be very competitive for a former top5 pick. I'm not that crazy about him. It's one of best WRs that could be available to us. Not many teams have talented WRs to trade. I said same about Watkins even moreso. Sandlot football style holding him back ring any bells?? BTW my favorite receiver to try to trade for is Keenan Allen I made that clear before but I don't think chargers would trade him. I would trade a round2 for him with his injury issues as is! Chargers aren't letting him go even after drafting Williams.
  2. Eluemunor has so much potential if he is coached up. Far more athletic than most think. I mean you can look at him and see he is very strong. But from his rugby he can move very very well for a 340lb monster. He has crazy endurance from rugby as well for such a huge dude. If I made a player comp I would say he plays like Carl Nicks. A big powerful lineman that really surprises everybody with his movement skills that needs some coaching on schemes and technique. Not quite as tall and long as Nicks but a slightly better athlete with more endurance. He and Stanley could be earthmovers on that left side if he wins left guard job. I read couple days ago Stanley has grown to about 320lbs. A surprise he is so young because it seemed like he played forever in college. Stanley has really worked and has come up with a crushing punch!! and it should be quite a weapon for him. His punch at Notre Dame was average at best. You throw in a punishing punch to an athletic technician of a tackle like Stanley and he is a totally different player than he already is. Ravens Stanley and Yanda are the best technicians to learn from for Eluemunor and Siragusa. I don't get the Myers comparisons for Eluemunor. Watch Carl Nicks college tape for comparisons.
  3. Yep it took a while to break into his tape and realize how good he is. Wherever the play is he finds it. To be honest I don't like Humphrey at cornerback very much. Maybe he proves me wrong. But I think he could be a prototype SS. On throwing downs Jefferson and Humphrey could drop into box and play linebacker. Jefferson and Humphrey could be quite a young tandem. Could even be better than Thomas and Cam Chancellor BTW if you watch his highlights alone you will see his adjustments while finding the throw simultaneously. Pretty impressive
  4. Yet Perriman costed a round1. And all the players that costed us a round2? Brown Jernigan max Correa. Would you prefer any of these dudes over Marqise Lee and Sammy Watkins??
  5. Expecting something for nothing is a reason the ravens don't have any playmakers
  6. Very tough to say. A player that definitely showed well even with bad QB play and a terrible offensive line that limited routes. He could maybe cost as much as Sammy Watkins. Would be ideal to get him for a round3 but could cost as much as a round2 pick. He showed very well especially considering the offensive line and QB.
  7. No, he plays far faster than his timed speed. He said in his interview he lost some weight and plays at about 205lbs and said he feels so much faster. I'm I remember correctly he was hobbling when he ran that bad 40 time. He is very fluid, has instincts and can find the football while making very athletic adjustments. He should challenge the top free safety's in the league. I like Arizona's coach. However I don't think he realized everything Jefferson could do. When a player is undrafted he really has to prove himself every step along. He was already fast enough but if he did get faster he may be a better free safety. He can do it all!! Cover tackle, top shelf instincts, play shallow and long when he has the opportunity. His best play is yet to come. He was thought of as a round1 player until combine.
  8. RSR
  9. I completely agree. Bowser has to show the toughness and physicality to not back down when punched in the face in the NFL. As in fight through blocks and get back up after being blocked by a guard. Humphrey could very well be a bust as a cornerback. But I think he will be very good as a strong safety. Problem is there is no opening at safety with a tandem of some of the best in the league. Once Weddle shows his age he could play SS while Jefferson plays free safety. With Tim Williams Mosley Jefferson Young and Humphrey the defense could be hitting stride again. On its way back to the ravens defense
  10. I never cared for Arthur Brown. Very good athlete but never displayed toughness for the NFL. He ran around at Kansas looking good cuz of his athleticism. But you are right he wasn't football smart and didn't have much passion. But he never displayed toughness it takes to play in the NFL. A good tackling cornerback could of made 90% of his plays. There was a reason he was available in mid/late round2. The NFL collective obviously didn't think he was as great as ravens management.
  11. Come on who are you know kidding?? Wallace is a 31 yr old one trick pony. And Perrimans routes are terrible!! He doesn't play to his timed speed not even close. There is no suddenness, disguise and craft to his routes. He can make some acrobatic catches. But he doesn't show the suddenness or craft in his routes to ever be a consistent high volume playmaker. Like somebody that can catch 10-12 to grind through a tough game. If we have that much confidence in our defense do you really want to be 8 games into the season and realize the offense sucks?? Get to the playoffs and lose because nobody on offense can consistently make plays yet again? Like in 2006 and 2008 where defense played very well the run game was working but our playmakers were no match for the oppositions playmakers. A round 2 pick really isn't a lot to trade away. Ravens have not done so well drafting receivers and using its round2 picks. It wouldn't hurt to trade for a Sammy Watkins And trying to short change the position isn't cutting it. Trying to trade a round7 pick for a Chris givens isn't doing jack for the offense. Of course somebody significant like Sammy Watkins and Marqise Lee are going to cost something to obtain them.
  12. Marqise lee is a huge upgrade over anything we have. His routes are awesome. He fell behind very skilled WRs in their own right while injured. But really came on last year even with bad QB play. Westbrook is very good. Many feel better than John Ross. If he didn't have any drama he would of went in round1. If he shows well One of Hurns lee will be traded. Jags will be getting that cheap production from him. Don't think jags want to pay 3 WRs over$10mil per.
  13. Of course, people obsess over things people don't have. Observe the excitement over finally drafting an explosive edge rusher. Ok multiply that by 1000 and that explains the obsession over a legit WR
  14. Strong has shown very little. Grabbing cut WRs compounds the problem. We need to pony up for a WR in his prime with legit potential. WRs get cut for a reason. That extends the problem and next thing you know it's misdeason again and you realize offense sucks and is holding team back.
  15. Dude his skillset screams SS. Everything he can do very well is what you want in your SS. He will redefine the position better than Chancellor. It's not only members here saying that about him. ESPN analysts, NFL network analysts and even PFF said it. Watch his highlights which are his best plays. Many of his plays the WR dropped the throw and he partially faceguarded while he got in the way of the throw having no clue where the ball was. And that was with a ferocious rush behind him and less than NFL quality QBs throwing to the receiver. His int's aren't very impressive at all. Not saying he can't get better. His deep coverage while needing lot of work for a NO. 1Cornerback is exceptional for a SS. Not many SS can be matched against a legit WR at all. As a SS he will be a perennial all pro.
  16. If bills ever decided to trade Watkins I'm sure every wr needy team would bid. He would cost a round2 pick at least!! Many teams will feel he has a lot of potential. He has shown a lot when he played. And many feel he is held back by Tyron Taylor's sandlot football style. He is a massively skilled receiver. Look what Hogan could do with a pro QB in a real NFL offense!! He was a No.4 WR there and an afterthought. Look what the USC WR got on the open market. And that is because many feel he has great potential in a real offense and was being held back there. I woud pay a round2 pick and some change for Sammy Watkins in .04 seconds!! Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee are good options as well. I would probably prefer Marqise as he is faster and shown the best recently. When the Jags see how good Westbrook is it could be very open to trading Marqise or Hurns. Westbrook could be the steal of the draft. I think he is better than John Ross. He and Tim Williams should compete for steal of the draft. Could be best players at their positions. Anyways Watkins and Jags WR's are definitely our best options. Nobody else has high end NO.2 maybe even NO.1 WRs at their disposable. I really like Boldin but not interested in bringing him back at 37 yrs old. Victor hasn't done anything in like a decade or whatever. Fact that fans even talking about them dudes shows how little confidence there is in our WRs. BTW Correa and Max have very little trade value.
  17. Williams is a phenom. Think Bruce Irvin with far more moves and a more natural and tougher player. Bowser I'm a touch skeptical.
  18. While Tim Williams is my favorite player in the draft it matters if the tackle was any good. Bad balance can make an awkward tackle look pathetic. You would never see him do that to Stanley unless he gets significantly bigger. Tim Williams needs to become a complete player. Not only talking about setting an edge but reading offenses and keys. He needs a lot of time in a film room with Mosley and Suggs. When he becomes a complete player is when he is going to be a gamewrecker. Knowing when to rush, set an edge, stunt, drop in coverage. If he were a more complete player he would be a top 10 pick even with previous failed drug tests.
  19. Wallace isn't even close to fastest 10 players in the league. He isn't anywhere near as fast as he was in 2009/2010.in his 30's now
  20. Everybody should pump the breaks a little on this best defense talk. Bowser has top shelf athleticism but has to show toughness to play in the NFL. Could be Jamie Collins or close. Could be Eli Harold And Mingo Our most exciting draft pick Tim Williams has exciting explosive potential to be the best defensive player in the draft. But we do have to pump the breaks a little. He has a ways to go as a run defender. I think he has a good attitude and a smarter player than credited for and hungry to work and get better. He needs to add upper body strength in a big way. His legs are incredibly powerful. He squats more than most defensive tackles. However He didn't even do the bench at combine or proday. Not surprised considering his upper body looks like that of a cornerback compared to his legs. Which is very strange because most of the time it is opposite way around. Usually a players upper body is big and strong compared to smaller legs. Very rare and unusual a players legs are so powerful and upper body needing strength like that. However big strong legs suggests his upper body frame could stand to get much bigger. And grow into his frame. Mingo never did like the browns hoped. But he also was chicken legged. If he can add some size to his upper body he could become a complete game wrecker as a 3-4 edge rusher and even 4-3 olb in ever phase. 255lbs would be plenty of size for his style. He is nearly as explosive and athletic an edge rusher as Von Miller. But let's pump the breaks a little because he has some work to do. But he has legit potential to be our most explosive edge rusher since Peter Boulware. Boulware was more ready out of the box but very similar potential. Boulware would be a first ballot hall of famer if he didn't have the knee injuries. Tim has similar skill!!
  21. Of course. Titans Rolle was as close to Deion sanders as there ever was. Starks did have a ferocious rush
  22. Didn't Woodson play SS?? Woodson should of been a SS long b4 ravens converted him. He always showed some deficiencies in coverage that his tackling and physicality overshadowed. The class of 83 QBs absolutely used to roast him. Marlon Humphrey's skillset screams SS. And an awesome one at that. As a SS he wouldn't have to do the things he isn't any good at. He is 6'1 and should settle in at around 215. Slightly smaller but as physical and far more athletic Kam Chancellor. No SS has the skills he brings to table.
  23. You know he is a free agent after next year. If Westbrook shows well like he should. He Is as talented as any receiver in this draft. I think he is better than Ross. Then Jags could trade Lee or Hurns. Lee is a free agent and Jags maybe aren't looking to pay big money. With his recent surge he could command $9-10mil per. Jags could look to unload Hurns and his contract as well. However he didn't look as fast and explosive last year. A good player but not one fast enough he could weather losing a step. Hurns of 2014 2015 would be great. Lee is the more skilled player however. Once injury free he began standing out in that offense. However if management is to make a move it should do so early. If Lee challenges Robinson for NO.1 WR Jags couldn't let him go then
  24. Mike Wallace doesn't have the speed at 31-32 whatever is that he displayed 7 yrs ago. Hoping max shows up and mentioning the receivers you did as helpful demonstrates how bad the offense is.
