  1. Why do you say zero chance?? Patriots won without him(granted lot of luck involved) and Bill Belichick more or less tolerates Gronks style. Bill didn't like his latest antics getting involved in wwe wrestle mania. His style fits ravens more than patriots. Don't mistake his partying for drama players. Gronk is the first to practice and train and the last to leave. The dude works harder than even Tom Brady. May not trade him to rival but Belichick can be pretty arrogant and trade him then try to contain him!!
  2. Not at all.Dont be absurd. What makes you me anybody a homer is biased opinions. Like moving a player up 100 spots on your draft board after your team drafts him. Convincing yourself your players are better than opponents based on who plays for your team. Over confident in your teams projections. Convincing yourself an expensive free agent isn't a good addition on your team because you know your team isn't going to sign him. While knowing you would do cartwheels if your team actually signed him. lol Some examples of being homeristic.
  3. So what are some thoughts if we could bring in Maclin for a round4 draft pick? He is 28 and a better more physical route runner than Wallace. He has some SS/Boldin toughness in traffic. He is elusive after the catch as well. He is fast and shifty for that early separation needed to move the chains. And has the big play speed and ball skills. Maclin gives Ravens better than average WR's at least. With a chance to have a great unit if One of Perriman/Moore take his game to starter caliber.
  4. Mostly agreed
  5. Cool, find ANYBODY else saying that. Of all the QB's on that rating. Joe is the one that is one more bad year away from his team looking for his replacement.
  6. Like I said Bayless is Bayless. Sharp was a raven. And Jennings wants to play. And ravens have a history of over 30 yr old retread receivers. So Jennings was scoring points for a job. lol
  7. Dude please don't bring Bayless into this. His whole game is saying something controversial to spark interest. I was referring to fans who are football fanatics. I deal with people from all over the country. And I haven't heard anybody that has Joe over Matt. I think it's pretty close but Matts accuracy and faster trigger where to go with throws gives him a slight edge. To be more blunt. I never heard a fan say Flacco is better than Matt. Most of the unbiased fans. And by unbiased I mean not a ravens fan and not a rival teams fan. Say " I know this may anger you, but Flacco is the best game manager". Meaning he isn't a QB you put the game on his shoulder. Of course I argue if he is in the right offense with Right players he will be a very prolific qb
  8. I have already discussed this with fans of various teams. Bayless is Bayless. Sharp is a former raven. And Jennings is trying to make a team. And ravens have a rep of over 30 retread receivers lol.
  9. Never said that. But whenever mentioned Matt Brady is better it is negged. I'll give you a more clear example. Nobody outside this board would ever argue Flacco is better than Matt Ryan. This is the only place you will ever see an argument for Flacco being better than Ryan.
  10. I know many don't say it. But neg it whenever mentioned. I would be for trading up for Hooker or Adams. Maybe Foster if it was only couple spots. And it isn't only players flaws. Any player out of range is usually overrated. And not a good idea to trade up for. Like the Khalil Mack discussion. Every body here said trading the round1-3 picks would of been a bad idea. And said ravens were better off with Mosley Jernigan and the slug of a TE than Mack. Who is co best defensive player in the league. And a very rare irreplaceable player. Same in free agency. All the older players and ravens style moves are great. Anything that seems not a ravens move and not likely to happen most around here. Many here convince themselves it is a bad move anyways. Paying Wagner and Osemele is to much money and overpaying most said. Yet paying $60 to a 2 down limited player is the right move. Limited 2 down block eaters come a dime a dozen but most convince themselves it was a great signing. But paying the same money to a guard that consistently drives nosetackles off the ball is to much money. And as always want to believe it is the right decision. Nobody wanted Perriman at 26. Anybody would agree before the draft Perriman in round1 is a reach. But now everybody says he is going to be a No. WR. Biased opinions.
  11. Many of these edge rushers are so overrated it is mind boggling. There are no Aldon Smiths, Rob Quinn's,Von Millers and especially Khalil Mack's. Last year was considered a weak edge rusher class and I like it better. I liked Floyd,Spence and Ngakoue better than anybody outside of Garrett in this class. Not to mention Dodd and Lawson. I'm beginning to see Harris can really get parallel when he want to bend. Watch lot more of Harris!
  12. Whatever dude if ravens got Foster you all would be doing cartwheels. Why does this board always smash on players it knows are out of range. And hit the neg icon on things that are true but don't like. Somebody could say Flacco is not as good as Brady and it would get 101 negs. Homerism at its finest.
  13. Maybe in a future lifetime
  14. Charles Harris I'm beginning to like. The secondary skills that rarely anybody talks about he shows a lot of. He would be a steal rd2
  15. Y?? He and Mosley would control the middle of the field like having 2 extra strong safety's. Making the secondary better and allow for exotic blitzing
  16. Ravens trade up for Foster. My opinion the best player in the draft and the safest pick. once a decade player.
  17. How about Ogunjobi/Jones
  18. Never Cared for that trade value chart. It's all about who is left on the board. Every draft is always different.
  19. Great draft. And JuJu is a better athlete than given credit for. He is big strong and elusive. Turns for yardage as fast as anybody. He highpoints and has hips and suddenness to be a great route runner. One of his times was a sub 4.5. But officially a 4.52. A very good time for a big physical WR. Torn between him and Ardarius Stewart.
  20. Stanley isn't a power player he is a wall off technician. He grows into that ultra long athletic frame and he could eventually be that drive blocking man handler. He has the athleticism frame length and technique
  21. This draft is going to eventually be recognized as overrated
  22. You cooled on Watt?? If he is injury free would you be as hot? Harris I'm lukewarm to like Barnett. He may be a very good edge rusher in a 3-4 but I would never want him round1. Round 1 I like Tim Williams and maybe Carl Lawson. Williams is the best speed rushing edge bender. Everything else can be learned. He has skills that can't be taught. He is the closest thing to Vic Beasley Von Miller in the draft. It may sound like I totally dislike Barnett/Harris. But really it is I wouldn't want Barnett/Harris with Williams left on the board.
  23. Dalvin Cook. I like him but not as much. I don't think he is a big upgrade over Dixon. On a side note many don't realize how great Dixon could be. The runner the Cowboys took was thought by scouts to be the better player. Almost as shifty as Dixon but a bigger tougher runner. When in fact Dixon has proven to be a tougher stronger runner with all his elusiveness. When the offensive line wasn't playing well. Dixon is bigger than many think at nearly 220. He was breaking a lot of tackles when the offensive line wasn't playing to well Back on topic. Dalvin wasn't my favorite pick. But I was on board with it if ravens drafted him at No.16. As much as I bash Barnett. I tried talking myself into liking him. Because of his intensity and love for the game. As well as his pride. If only he got a little better jump off the line and accelerated off blocks with more burst. But I wasn't ever quite convinced he should be the pick like Cook
  24. Not at all. I said the strength he shows will not show up in the NFL. Why are so many offended I don't like Barnett. He could be solid. But in my opinion not the feared game wrecker ravens need. And I never said his skills were the exact of Upshaws. It is however reminiscent of the epic arguments over his game transferring to the NFL.
