  1. I agree. I actually believe with coaching and smoothing out his bad habits he could be a really good left tackle eventually. But with Stanley on left tackle Cam would be our all pro mauling Right Tackle. Bisnowaty could maybe play center. Ravens would have a smashing line. I do believe Lewis will get stronger and be a top shelf guard. Ravens could enter season Stanley Lewis Bisnowaty Yanda Robinson.
  2. Corey Davis!! Would be happy with FOSTER, Howard Njoku,Mike Williams. not ideal but would like Lattimore,Humphrey Cook,Lawson/Tim Williams(I like Lawson/Williams a lot but would prefer round2 even if it means a trade up late round1 early round2. Tradeback I like Cam,Bolles,Njoku,Tim Williams,Carl Lawson,Humphrey,Ross, Lattimore, a big physical good tackling cornerback with instincts and ball skills to convert FS
  3. Roger Godell is cloning Jake Butt for you in the event ravens don't draft him. Not only that you can run 2 TE sets featuring all Jake Butt's. Then there will be Jake Butt at fullback. Then several Jake Butts will be genetically altered to have a cannon arm to play QB. Then several Jake Butts will slim down to 223lbs and play WR. There will even be Jake Butts on defense playing edge rusher and ilb. One jake Butt will be fattened up to play NT. Then one Jake will be slimmed down to 223 lbs again to play SS. Will you be happy with this draft now??
  4. I guess we can talk about all dline here?? I really like DJ Jones. He is 6'1 320 lbs very stout and very athletic and explosive. He can eat blockers and penetrate all the same. At over 320 lbs his testing numbers are very similar to Jonathan Allen. Although he can play nosetackle his best fit in my opinion is a penetrator. In which case he will be better served playing closer to 295-300lbs. His testing numbers would be off charts if he were more of the penetrator size. Probably a 4.8-4.9 40. And would jump through the roof. In which case he would be a round2/3 player. Because his combine numbers would really jump! Could be good replacement Timmy Jernigan
  5. Like your post. Is that Charles Harris you mean? Don't get me wrong I like Charles Harris. But 16 is a little early for him I think. I would actually be in favor of trading up to early round2 late round1 for him "if"edge rushers begin coming off the board. Like out of Lawson Williams Harris if 2 are gone by late round 1 I would be in favor of trading up to grab the remaining edge rusher after we land Davis/Foster/Howard/Njoku/in round one. I know Cam is an option as well. He is Right Tackle only for now. However he has the skills to be a really good left tackle/All pro Right Tackle after some coaching and technique practice. He has athleticism balance power length but has many bad habits. But Davis is my favorite round1. Allen could seriously freefall. Not especially strong or explosive to be a dominant interior penetrator/edge rusher. If he were a lil bigger stronger with his athleticism level he could be great. Even lil more athletic and explosive at his size he would be a real top3 player. But as he stands now he could really struggle with NFL offensive line.
  6. All mocks are possible scenarios. So can always come up with one lol. Ever consider Bisnowaty as a center? He could be a mauling center with enough athleticism to pull and climb the next level. Harbaugh said in his interview Lewis is getting stronger and likes to challenge himself to get stronger. If he plays LG and Bisnowaty can play center. Then Lewis Yanda and Bisnowaty could be a really awesome interior trio.
  7. Yes great safeties not really special first ballot hof safety's
  8. If we want a great offensive line then how come we are letting quality and even great offensive lineman walk? All the while paying similar money to a one dimensional dime a dozen nose tackle. If management could do it again it would probably sign Osemele. Raiders run game excelled when he arrived. Even without top shelf RB. I'm all for making an offensive line the priority. But not sure there is a one that can justify No.16 overall. Lamp is vastly overrated. And Cam has potential to be a pro bowl RT. But he needs coaching up and practice on his technique. I read about 6 weeks ago that Texans could trade Duane Brown. If that were true he would be an awesome line addition!
  9. I would take Trade our round1 and round2 pick to get One of Adams/Hooker. Players like that come around every decade. There isn't anybody we could get that we couldn't replace in next draft. Much like Ed Reed, Adams and Hooker are irreplaceable players. Especially Adams. If Baker were 6'0 he would be in the conversation. However he is a fabulous player with one weakness.Man up on big WRs/TE. I'm not rough on smaller DBs. If you can play football you are a game changer. Reed wasn't that big. Not was Polamolu and Sanders. This is a Loaded Defensive back draft!!
  10. Flex is a huge contributor to this board. Even when you don't always agree. He is fun to talk football with. So lets everybody do the opposite of the neg!! BTW Flex do one more mock on draft day!!
  11. What he is saying
  12. I agree. Don't need a Correa again coming out of nowhere to leap ideal rushers.
  13. We could have to trade up a little to land Tim Williams. But he is definitely falling somewhat inexplicably. I imagine its firmer off field incidents, his size, his underrated run game skills and being a part time player. Many scouts seem to have him and Charles Harris pretty even as far as raw edge skills to coach up further. But Charles being more complete. He is out of Mayocks top5 which is reminiscent on a lot of scout feedback he receives. I would take one of Williams Lawson Harris in early round2 I would prefer Williams/Lawson. But would be very happy with any of those edge rushers. Especially after landing Corey Davis in round 1. If it means trading a round4 maybe round 3 to move up 10 or so spots then so be it. Landing a NO.1WR and speed rusher off the edge are the playmakers the ravens need. Although it would be ideal to not have to trade up. So that we could address cornerback and offensive line position in round3.
  14. Corey Davis and Tim Williams addresses the biggest holes holding us back. A playmaking no. 1 WR and an edge rusher that can jump into the backfield in a blink. A NO.1 receiver like Davis that can win at any level and a double digit edge rusher and ravens are legit super bowl contenders. Maybe a cornerback and button up the offensive line with a good draft pick and signing from player cuts. Maybe even trade a future draft pick for a veteran lineman. A lineman about to hit free agency whose team isn't going to pay. Similar to Jernigan situation. A round 3 pick next years draft should get us a very good offensive lineman. After Davis and Williams I would like to see ravens go offensive lineman cornerback and linebacker
  15. I think u guys are misunderstanding what one is saying. Ray Ray I think is saying what is the point of projecting our rivals pick. If any one of them picks Davis then it destroys the most important mock which is the ravens. Joeyflex is trying to be as accurate as he can with the draft as a whole. it is different from my mocks. I post picks that I would like to see the ravens get. While being realistically in the ravens grasp. Makes mocks more fun in my opinion.Moton and Dawkins are heating up. If you guys are referring to Malik Hooker. He is one of the rare, players I would trade up for. His potential is off the charts. He has better instincts than Earl Thomas. He could be similar to Ed Reed. An explosive free safety that can lay wood when needed. I would be in favor trading up for Adams as well
  16. Like your early picks a lot. Looking forward talent at offensive line in later rounds is like looking for your contact lens in an ocean. I'm not a huge Elflein fan. I don't hate'em but not a fan really.
  17. I like the later picks. Barnett is the kinda player that will be productive but leaves you wanting more. Touch above average that Some Fans will try to pimp out as a successful draft pick. Not a perennial double digit sack player off the edge. Not the player offenses worry to much about. I really do root for him because of his character and effort. But not the game changer NFL level.
  18. Not a chance in hell Solomon Thomas gets by Carolina.
  19. I'm on board as well but with all points pretty much. Point 3 being I don't care what percentage of plays Jernigan and Williams was in on. Fact remains Jernigan is more available and effective on more plays. Williams Impotent rushing the QB. For those that need to catch up on the this century I'll give you a crash course. It is a throwing league by far. Williams is a one dimensional block eater. He can't rush the QB. Out of all the players lost I can't believe he is the player management decides to pony up for!! All this nonsense he is a top3 runstuffing nose tackle. He is however how many teams employ or even want a one dimensional nose tackle. Teams have NT's that could be really good riding the bench. Because of their ineffectiveness rushing the QB. Even teams that run the 3-4 alignments prefer 3 stout lineman athletic enough across the board to rush the QB. So Williams is top3 of about 7 one dimensional run stuffers. Williams is very replaceable. If a Jernigan was traded for peanuts imagine what ravens could pick up a run stuffer for. When Wilfork(who could rush when he was younger) got injured patriots picked up a NT for a late round pick. Even if Jernigan is inconsistent. He is more functional rushing the QB than Williams is. And his inconsistency could be a result of not liking the scheme and his role in it
  20. Grim isn't sold on Barnett as well. And is not sure he will convert to NFL so well. Everybody should pump the brakes on Lamp. He will be a functional player but this Yanda/Zack Martin comparisons are out of touch! His Bama tape was ok at best. He failed to get any movement and didn't hold blocks on Anderson/Allen. Bolles turns opponents off the ball far better even when weighing below 300lbs. And at a far better level/competition
  21. I like Jake Butt a lot to. But why the fascination with him??
  22. Maybe not 20's but he isn't top5. He is a very overhyped player
  23. I like it. Not completely ideal but I like it. If pocic gets stronger he would be perennial pro bowler at multiple positions. But with his height he has to get stronger. It's amazing he generates the leverage he can at 6'7. If he can grow into that frame he would be really really dominant. i would prefer a cornerback and safety to 2 cornerbacks unless one could convert to free safety. In round6 I would prefer take a chance on small school athletic Linebacker to begin coaching up.
  24. Good thread idea that needs a bump. And let's add to it. Not only players cooled on but players warmed up to. Players you changed your opinion on as it gets closer to D Day. I know as everybody watches more tape analysis of players move. The players I have cooled and heated up to I believe some here will agree on. Forrest Lamp.He was really hyped up around combine time. And many bought in. But when I watched the complete game against Bama I wasn't impressed. Don't get me wrong he is going to be a good player in the NFL. But the Zack Martin comparisons are totally ridiculous. On contrary I heated up to Garrett Bolles. He is more athletic and holds blocks better. And is only scratching the surface of his potential. When he fills out to a normal 305-310 lb Tackle he is going to be a monster. He surprisingly gets movement in run game at under 300lbs and rarely is pushed back. This dude moves and bends like a far smaller player can bend. Freakishly athletic for 6'5 1/2. If he were 23 and played D1 every year of his college career he would be closer to his ideal prototypical 310 lbs. and he would by far be the consensus NO.2 pick in draft behind only Garrett. If we took him at 16 I would be fine with it. He is 24 but will play 10 yrs at left tackle. He is one of those players that can lose a step and yet be more than athletic enough to play at an elite level.
  25. Agree. If Bolles grows into his frame like Lane Johnson did he will be a perennial pro bowler. Most athletic tackle since Ogden. The dude is fluid and fluid. He can bend like a smaller player. With his explosion and athleticism he always initiates contact. Most surprising thing about his play is the movement he gets in run game for a player under 300 lbs. He has the frame to add weight. And scouts project him to once he gets to his NFL team. When he bulks up to the size of a prototypical tackle he will be a monster. If Bolles were 22 yrs old and played his college career in D1 school that partially bulked him up closer to a normal 305-310 he would be drafted after Garrett overall.
