Just heard the left side of the OL could be intact. Good to know Stanley is back. However I will reserve the same enthusiasm for Lewis. I think he was side by side with Zuttah as the main culprit for our run game deficiencies. Yanda to RT is an upgrade as Wagner may of been dinged up all along. Ducasse was an interesting and very smart signing. Ducasse was always a multi talented guard. But never quite put it all together as a result of technique and scheme. Castillo can change all that. I think he is best suited for RG of all our interior OL. Urschel played very well for his first game back. He should be considered for the center position. Then Jensen and Lewis should compete for the LG position. I'm sure management is rooting for Lewis. Lewis is a rookie while Wagner and Jensen are free agents. Management has him in the plans for LG or RT next year. But I haven't seen much from him to be honest. Anybody know how he performed last week? I recorded it but deleted it by accident. So I would appreciate any info on his performance. This could be the game the OL comes together and the electric fast WR's hang onto the ball for big plays. Correct OL formation and big plays will mean a ravens win.

That is hilarious. The interviews I saw of him. I just wrote his blaaahh personality off as he didn't feel like doing an interview at that particular minute. lol I didn't know that is who he is lol. It's conceivable Marty's Mcfly upbeat personality is what this offense needs. Because the skill level is there.

This could be a breakout game for the ravens as a team. And individual performances respectively. If Judon gets reps the defense has an opportunity with the giants problems at the offensive line. Tavon Young is a baller. He plays with aggression and pride. His only shortcoming is he is considered short at just under 5'10. OBJ is only 5'11. If coaching could give Young the opportunity to guard OBJ. This could be the game he gets recognized as not only a dynamic rookie. But one of the better cornerbacks in the league 5'10 and smaller. The Defense can earn respect in this game with the Giants. On offense the WRs can redeem themselves agains a feared giants secondary. Forgive me if I'm wrong but didn't Moore beat Apple for a big play? I think Apple is the first round cornerback. If the WRs make plays on this defense. it will arrest the criticism of Flacco and the WRs that fans discuss at the water coolers.

Perriman has massive potential. He makes acrobatic catches with 4.25 speed to boot. He has made some spectacular catches. Consistency comes with repetition. Didn't Chris Moore toast Two first round cornerbacks on spectacular electric catches? Or was it a first and second round cornerback? He will begin hanging onto the ball to. And he looks so quick out there. He is always open like a convenient store. Perriman has blazing 4.25 speed and Moore appears to be just as fast and slightly quicker. These guys will begin hauling in the football. And the ravens are just finding out how to effectively utilize these rookies and new guys. This offense is going to click. Then it will be defenses beware.

Judon is the most exciting rookie rusher in quite a while. I sure do not know the real reason 's he isn't rushing Qbs more often. Smith is so ineffective I didn't realize he was playing so many snaps.lol From what we saw of Judon we should think he will be at least effective. I sure think he earned some playing time.

Ravens offense will be hitting its stride over second half of the season. No reason to not think playoffs. Wallace and the rookies will have rapport with Joe. Lewis and Stanley will have experience and chemistry. Dixon should be a weapon. Trestman will be more familiar with his players. And yes I believe Trestman will find his groove. And do not discount Oz pulling off one of his trades for a G/C or defensive help.

This is true. OC's like Kubiak do not hang around long. Great Coordinators become HC's unfortunately. It would have been interesting to see Kubiak continue to work with Flacco and run our offense. However I like Trestman. He may not be a guru but he can competently run an offense. He has a lot of experience and has proven he can be successful on offense. Ravens played under some terrible OC's like Cavanaugh and Cameron. Trestman may not be a guru but he is experienced. Many offenses that are supposed to be great around the league are getting off the line slowly. As Flacco builds chemistry with Perriman, Wallace and Moore the offense will get better as its parts work smoother with more reps. Last years Trestman's offense got better later in the season. Even with Aiken as its #1 weapon. So give the offense several more games. We have Stanley and Lewis returning. And every game and practice Flacco and his WR's/OL get that much more comfortable. Our Offense scored 27 points with 2 backups on Flacco's line. It will get better. Wallace, Perriman and Moore will get going. We have a RB returning that is special catching the ball. If Moore catches that ball we are not even talking about replacing Trestman. Trestman can be successful. Is it really a good thing for Flacco to learn a new system? He is getting familiar with his guys and Trestman will hear his plea for more big plays. We have Stanley, Lewis and Dixon returning. Lets not drop the hammer on rookie Chris Moore. Without a young slot WR he is probably our best at fast early separation as far as I know of. And has never demonstrated problems with drops before. Offense has some cleaning up but is capable of big things with its speed. Give Trestman an opportunity.

J. Smith, Davis and young could be dynamic in coverage. The Davis trade was a brilliant move by Oz. Secondary is really good with potential to be great. Is it just me or can Tavon Young tackle like a safety almost?? For a smaller corner he tackles with authority. My guess is Wright eventually loses playing time to Young and Davis.

I think the secondary is playing very well and doing its job. Keeping their end of the bargain for sure. Especially considering the underwhelming pressure on the QB. As for what may help the secondary outside of sacks?? Young and Davis could use some more playing time in place of Wright.

That could very much be the case. One reason I picked Moore to be the playmaker at the WR position. I think he is a maybe little better than his fast teammates at getting that instant separation.

Chris Moore\Buck Allen on offense. Mosley\Tavon Young on defense. Young will eventually be recognized as one of best CB's in the game at 5'10 tall or less. Mosley is getting hype and recognition lately for highlight reel athletic plays and int's. But even before that can't help his much improved physical play catch your eye. His ordinary tackles really look jarring. Like it is hurting the ball carrier's. He takes on blocks with ferocity. His tackle numbers are not impressive yet. But the way he is playing he will hit the 10+ tackle games. Buck Allen could get some opportunity this week catching the ball. To keep the defense honest he will get his touches on run plays. It will warm the offense up for RBs making an impact on offense catching the ball. The ravens have Dixon likely returning next week and he will make big plays catching the ball. Joe Flacco warms up for that this week. Besides, even as a runner. Could he be any worse? Chris Moore really looks to be open whenever he is running a route. Have not watched him blanketed yet. At least not while I was watching lol . And I think his drop is an anomaly. The guy makes athletic catches and displays good hands. I think he gets his shot and comes up big in this game

Looks good to me and valid points. May want to at least consider Urschel at Center as the only alternative blend to your lineup. Lewis has looked somewhat sluggish in getting push at guard. Although no guarantee, he may get adequate push on Defensive ends. We expect Wagner to break out this year at some point and play like an earthmover at RT. He has adequate left tackle athleticism.

Could the reasoning be Jensen is a free agent this spring? And ravens are not interested in driving up his value in the event he plays very well. I do not think his protection of Joe is bad at all. Could improve and it probably will. If Jensen plays well for 8 games he will be cheaper than if he plays very well for 16-19 games including playoffs. Lewis is considered the future at some position along the OL. And coaching prefers him getting experience. If Jensen plays like he did late last year his pay could end up quite lucrative. Then if Wagner can pull it together and reclaim his 2014 form he would be expensive himself. Jensen and Wagner could play very well and even fix the run game. But ravens are then have the challenge of resigning 2 players on Joe's line with Lewis relatively unproven. If the case is he is beaten out for a job and rides the bench this season.

I really like undersized cornerbacks that exceed depressing expectations based on their size. Tavon should eventually compare to the better cornerbacks in the game that measure 5'10 or less. Harris and Malcolm Butler to name a couple. As for Trestman. Happy to have him. Has anybody observed offenses that can not glide as a result of offensive coaches that that can not innovate much less run a competent air attack. At the very least Trestman is a very competent coordinator. There are numerous offenses underperforming their talent pool as a result of inexperienced or incompetent offensive scheming and play calling. Jacksonville to name one is a very talented offense that gets little help in the mold of innovation, scheming and play calling. Trestman deserves props for last years offensive production with backup QBs and WRs. Trestman used a different playbook than his own. This years offense will be quite potent.

A substandard C fighter can have a lucky round against an elite boxer. BUT you do not dominate top notch competition for 12 rounds on multiple occasions without him being legit. This is not a defender notching several coverage sacks. It is an offensive lineman that performed for 12 rounds and dominated. Just Curious, What teams did he dominate? When did he have a 3 game awful stretch? I never key in on him. But fans sure seem encouraged by his play. I don't think it would hurt if the run blocking is again atrocious.

Chris Moore is known for great hands. I think he will be fine. His drop was an anomoly. Ravens are deep at WR. Perriman should show better effort on jump balls. He allowed that int. Is it just me or does Moore look faster than Perriman in his routes? Which is saying a lot because Perriman is a 4.2 burner.

I don't think Ducasse was given much opportunity. Everybody kept saying lewis was this mauler. Yet power is his deficiency so far. I like Jensen to play. Then have lewis and Urschel compete for the remaining job. If urschel wins, he plays center and Jensen is the left guard. If Lewis wins then he is the LG and Jensen plays Center. This lineup probably gives us our most physical lineup. And best chance for success.

Offense is really coming along. When Dixon and Moore get comfortable the offense could be something special. Zuttah has got to go. He is hurting our run game. Anybody like urschel at Center?
