  1. I get what you are saying. But I like Pryor far better in the eye test. He looks faster more elusive than Aiken. While much bigger. There's a reason everybody gets the feeling Pryor is scratching the surface while Aiken overachieved his talent. as for Kaufusi and Henry. Kaufusi is not athletic enough for rush olb. And not nearly strong enough to play the line. When he got hurt he was told work on his body for next year. I don't know what the hell that is supposed to do. If he isn't stout or athletic enough. Henry Iooks like a good athlete but not really a football player. He looks to have no savvy for getting off blocks. In preseason games he was stuck on blocks of backup players. I don't know only my guesses dude. maybe he could be coached up. But I prefer draft a penetrator like DJ Jones. One of my favorites in this draft. I really wanted Easley.
  2. I would prefer a stud QB in round4 As opposed to round1. You said he is not accurate. I know games are different. And to be honest he is more accurate and cool in the face of a rush than Flacco. He is at his best actually. Show me games where he has accuracy issues. I can name several where he is getting hammered and consistently throws strikes. For one watch the Alabama game.
  3. To be honest I don't like Henry Ksufusi or Davis. With Jernigan a free agent next year we should find a penetrator in the draft. I was hoping for Easley but Rams put a round1 tender on him.
  4. I politely disagree. When a guy is playing that well his first year at WR. And with crappy QB play I may add. That is a testament to a players raw talent and potentially higher ceiling. And $8 with incentives is a small price for a true No.1 But I agree I would of signed him 2 yrs at $$16 with incentives. It would suck having to pay him after one big year. On a side note I really like Kendall Wright as much as Pryor. I honestly liked Wright as much as Marshall and Pryor before we didn't sign them. So many posters here wanted Pryor, then when we didn't get are saying he would have been a bad signing. I know he isn't a free agent but in draft. But I really like JuJu.
  5. Throwing at his proday will expose accuracy issues. No I don't think we will draft Chad. I would like it if we did. If Flacco gets injured. And if he completely bombs this year and needs to be benched. Would you like Mallet playing? Then go into 2018 draft having QB as a need? This way if Flacco bombs there is a young talented QB to coach up. Won't have to draft a QB in round1. Because Biscotti wouldn't allow hoping for lesser skilled QBs can overachieve. He was going to trade the draft for Matt Ryan. We have to many needs as it is. Don't need to be trading up for a QB. If we can get a QB with top shelf raw skills in round 4. However he isn't going to be available in round 4-6 anyways
  6. Lardarius was on his way to s potential HOF career before his injuries. He truly played like a Baltimore raven.
  7. Tied as in can't cut him. Doesn't mean he can't be benched. Can't wait til pro day And draft. I'm going to come looking for the naysayers. When you miss a 40 yard pass it isn't the same as missing on 15 yards. It isn't accuracy issues. You really think if Flacco plays terrible again he can't be benched? His stock is going to skyrocket after his proday. We will meet back here to see who is correct. After his pro day and the draft.
  8. Ogunjobi isn't a nose he is a penetrator. I wouldn't take a TE unless he were head and shoulders above the rest. We have enough backup TE's. I have not watched enough defensive backs to make a judgement and incorporate them into a mock yet. Joe Williams has some minor character problems. He was going to quit football or something like that. But he is very talented. Chad Kelly has more than some arm talent. It doesn't get much better. The release, velocity and accuracy is top shelf. He has a gamblers mentality as many strong armed accurate QBs do. He will need some coaching and taming. But come on, does arm talent get any better than that? As much as we like Joe. If he completely bombs again are we remaining with him? And is Mallet the solution?
  9. CB is deep no question. But dangerous because many are going to be busts. History tells you that in ANY deep class. As for Dawkins I kept deleting and going from Dawkins to eluemunor. I like his upside. I don't like Kupp at all. Chad Kelly, Obviously. But his pro day and draft day will be the judge. I'm bookmarking it and looking forward. Somebody showed me some tape on Lewis and I'm no longer sold on him as a starter for us. The Alabama game. Put most NFL QBs in that game QB of Ole Miss against that crimson tide defense and Ole miss is shut out. Doesn't score a field goal. He took viscous shots from Foster,Williams, Allen and Anderson In that game that would have rattled almost any QB. Yet he kept standing in there taking hits and throwing strikes. Got up and did it again. That's all I'm saying til his proday and draft day
  10. Former players on the fan talking would disagree with you. Billick won with no QB. He lost a desire to coach for ravens. Because McNair was the only QB management wanted to even talk to in 2006. His contract was guaranteed. So he didn't care.
  11. I like Claiborne. Not Mangold so much. My friends in Long Island said he declined and it was time for him to go. I like Kendall Wright as well. Very underrated receiver. Could end up better than Pryor or the Alshon. Then let's focus on the offensive line and WR/TE in the draft.
  12. That is what worries me. That we didn't want Pryor. The decision makers are consistently saying we like what we already have. And consistently wrong. And never learns. We liked Tandon Doss. We like the undrafted receivers to step up going into 2015 season. Proven time and again. No idea what a future No.1 Wideout looks like. Same song different dance every year. Half our fans every year now say dump Flacco. Half say he has no weapons or line. What is going to give? It isn't going to be Biscotti. I can promise you that.
  13. I think we were pretty close to a team that can win shootouts. If we would have kept our offensive lineman together. Then the final cog is a receiver or2. The defense isn't even close to dominating. I don't like the Jefferson signing for most part. Hope he proves me wrong but I see him getting roasted without an elite rush. Ok we want an elite offensive line which I agree with making a priority. But their actions say it isn't a priority. Wagner was the best RT he ever put out there. NT's come a dime a dozen. DJ Jones is a guy to watch😉 We won in 2008-2012 with players drafted in the Billick era. And Ozzies previous regime of advisers and assistants. The last 8 drafts have left a lot to be desired. And the original poster I responded to was correct. We are to busy restructuring the contracts of Declining players. To focus on an elite offensive line. What is the point of keeping Pitta around at all? Is management really that scared of him leaving? We should be trying to help one of our young guys step up. Like Williams/Boyle.
  14. Before we knew the extent of it. Or grasped the details of his injury. All I'm saying is the guy said it. And we have a history of asking players not to retire.
  15. Garappolo looks really good. Even Josh McCown said he is the real deal
  16. Of course it has little choice on free agents. You tell me. The reports were ravens asked him to reconsider. And I never before questioned our management. But 2 losing seasons in a row and not getting any better. Said we were building an elite offensive line.(which I applauded on here) And proceed by allowing established players to walk while investing in venerable run stuffers. And yes I believe Orr was asked to hang around. We have a history of asking players not to retire. That is facts and reality. In an offensive driven league we let our offensive lineman walk while overpaying a limited venerable dime a dozen NT. Same people applauding Osemele's exit because the money are agreeing with Brandon Williams. And our coach recently said a players mental state is 3 times more important than his talent level. Come on now
  17. Bree's and Texans makes sense. Round 1 pick in 2018 draft for Bree's. Texans are one team that can contend with patriots if it has the QB. When Watt returns that team could be scary with a QB
  18. I see people can't handle the truth. I'm not sure our management even knows what it takes to win these days. Why is pitta restructured? There is zero confidence to find young talent on this team. Management is terrified of a player leaving. Even if he is a declined shell of himself. Management is terrified of finding replacements. Known for begging players not to retire. Don't care if he is declined or injured in Zachary Orrs case. Wanted the guy to risk his neck literally! Pretty pathetic
  19. Woodhead is a 32 yr old runner. He would go to anybody that wanted him and talk up that organization.
  20. I'm beginning to question our managements priorities. And what it thinks it has. And what it thinks it takes to win. We have not drafted an all pro player since Billick days. He knew you needed cornerstones build around
  21. I would love it if we got Pryor. Guy will be 1500 yards 12TDs in our offense easy! Then the draft we could focus on the offensive line with Lamp and Feeney or Lamp/Moton. Lamp is my favorite player in this draft class
  22. Who would we prefer Pryor or Claiborne??
  23. Sometimes agility tests transfer sometimes not. He completely bombed at rush olb in college. And is considered weak to play the line in the NFL. He was told to work on himself for next year. Not a bust yet but not the freak some are making him.
  24. Ok what's the deal. I don't get sports news updates but people are saying details are being ironed out. Claiborne is finally nailing down the mental aspect of the game and maybe that will help with the injuries. His mirror and recovery skills are the best since Deion Sanders. Better than Patrick Peterson coming out. If he avoids injury he could be the best in the NFL.
  25. Ravens front runners for Claiborne? Heard it twice at the office since 12:00. Any news? Claiborne could be the biggest steal of free agency. He is considered a better pure cover guy than his teammate Peterson coming out. He is hitting his stride now. And in ravens schemes that commands a players best. He could really hit his stride and be the top cornerback in the league.
