  1. You can try to convince me til you turn green. It isn't going to make him a great player. He actually has to go out there and perform. You act as if you convince everybody your guy will be great. Will not work thatway sorry
  2. He isn't untouchable turning the corner. In the NFL tackles are going to engage.
  3. All face a jump in competition but not all are phased same
  4. Some yes
  5. I'm not a Barnett Fan like many people here. Will not get into specifics at this time. But NFL tackles are different. Better hand usage, endurance, technique, stronger and coached up.
  6. Like the Ross pick. Really like it. Guy is a football player with elite speed. Not only a speed player. He creates separation and makes plays on the football. He and Moore could form a tandem that really puts defenses on their heels. Very fast route runners for intermediate separation. I like the King pick as well. However we can do better than Magnuson in round3. He seems like somebody that will leave you wanting more. I like Eluemunor at that pick. He is a player that could hurdle his way through draft boards. He is freakishly strong without being a weight room warrior. And his athleticism jumps out of the screen instantly.
  7. Solid draft. Could probably find a better offensive lineman Magnuson in round3. Eluemanor is a player I believe has a better roof. If you watch him enough you could believe he could actually play left tackle with some refinement. He is a better athlete than Dawkins and Moton.
  8. If we have somebody to replace his production a round3 would be cool if he could fetch that much. He dominates at times. He could turn up the heat in a contract year. So a contender needing a stout athletic tackle could gamble and send a round3 to fetch him. Don't write off the Jacksonville jaguars because Jernigan can play Nosetackle. He is very stout for his size. And is far more athletic and explosive than the traditional NT. Many teams don't employ the traditional one trick NT. But prefer stout athletic lineman across the line. Ravens could use draft capital in a good draft. But shouldn't unload him anything less than late3 early round4. He could really breakout in a contract year. And finally play consistently. If Jerney played consistently like his good games he could have double digits very easily. So management needs to think before trading
  9. Hey guys, and girls. I guess we can really go two ways on a mock draft. We could dry to guess which direction management is going. And we can lay down picks we would like to say. I was so sure of our management before. I even believed there was a plan for Arthur Brown when he wasn't playing. But after getting all pumped up about their promise to build an elite offensive. Then letting Wagner walk while paying a NT. I don't know. Round 1) Forrest Lamp. He could actually go top15 picks because his stock is getting expensive. At one time I thought we could trade back for an extra pick and get him. But In a weak O-Line class he will come off the board early. If Lamp is gone I like John Ross,Corey Davis,Solomon Thomas in that order. Thomas is likely gone anyways. Lamp and Stanley gives us 2 young elite Offensive lineman to build our offense around. Round2) Carl Lawson. I would pick him over JuJu by the thinnest eyelash. As much as I want this to be an offense laced draft. If he is available we have to take him. If he isn't available I like JuJu for our pick then. Lawson and JuJu are 2 of my personal favorite players In this draft. Lawson would complete our rush. He and Judon form a potent young tandem. Lawson turns that corner low and tight with such authority. He gives our defense some attitude. Juju is a lot like a longer Boldin. Ultra competitive! Fast and twitchy in his breaks. Plays Fast and attacks the football aggressively. He is elusive and competitive after the catch. He plays like a raven. The possession receiver we need. And he can stretch the field a little. Round 3) Jermaine Eluemunor. This is where the draft begins to toughen trying to figure who can realistically fall that is an early Round2 talent. He can play RT and Guard at a high level. He is athletic and brings the power and nasty temperament Ozzie and Harbaugh is talking about. This guy could be a "real steal" if he is available here. He got a late beginning to football and is an ascending talent. Round 3) Chad Kelly. Ok this will probably get an otherwise model draft negged. Sorry guys but hear me out please. Chad Kelly has some off field boy stuff. S.I. did an Article about how his fights were overblown. He has a HOF uncle to keep him focused and straight as a pro. His arm talent is flat out top shelf. It is Aaron Rodgers like. He has an effortless lightning quick release and is pinpoint accurate. He adjusts his throwing motion when under fire with no loss of velocity and accuracy. He scrambles and keeps his eyes downfield. He took viscous hits from the crimson Tide Defense yet kept hanging in there throwing pinpoint precision footballs. Everybody I asked to watch a couple of his games asked "How come he is not the NO.One pick in the draft" Very very rare arm talent. VERY RARE! If he is flushed from the pocket he is a legit scoring threat. Hard nosed and competitive. Look what his teammates say about him. He is projected to be maybe a round 6 steal if he keeps straight. But I honestly don't think he gets out of round3. Round2 wouldn't surprise me. He is going to put on a show at his Pro day. Scouts are shamelessly grilling his skill set because of his scuffles he got in. He throws 40 yarders with confidence most QBs throw 10 yarders with. He has a gamblers mentality. He will need to be coached and tamed. If Flacco gets hurt he could really come in and stun ravens fans. He could yield is a Round1 pick eventually from a team needing a franchise QB. Round3) Dede Westbrook: Fine a more conventional pick for those not liking Chad Kelly. Now Chad is my pick but for those that prefer a conventional pick. He is compared to Will Fuller. Maybe not as much pure speed. But a far more refined route runner. Gifted WR Round4) Larry Ogunjobi: He is the Explosive interior penetrator to help our Defense become feared again. Very similar to Grady Jarrett. It was tough call between him and DJ Jones. If we didn't keep Brandon I would have went DJ Jones here. He is a Hybrid NT/Penetrator. Round5 )Duke Riley: A speedy playmaker learning football and improving. He is a great replacement for Zack Orr. Very Similar player with range and cover skills. Good tackler. Round6) Joe Williams. Very elusive RB with surprising power. His natural wiggle allows him to break a lot of tackles. Receiving and homerun threat. Round7)Nate Hairston: A WR convert to CB. Physical and will get better. Physical tackled with ball skills. Could be a safety. This is really an incomplete mock. Need to watch a lot more tape before finalizing rounds comp pick through 7. I think we will sign Claiborne so no Defrnsive backs yet. At least not untill I can watch more games and feel comfortable drafting them as a BPA.
  10. Ray Lewis bulked up to 258 I read when Shannon Sharp coached him in 2000. His hits were that much intimidating like the Eddie George hit. Couple years later I read in the sun paper he slimmed to 235-240 to cover the incoming athletic TE's better. However Ray said he realized his hits were not having the same effect. I don't know what he did after that. If he bulked up again or not.
  11. Don't put words in my mouth. I know it can help a player. But make a loser into a stud. Come on now. And I know who you are talking about. He thought every football player should look like a bodybuilder. I'm a take a player for face value player. I like Garrett Bolles. His scouting reports says you will be getting a better player than drafted because he is late to filling out and growing. I don't buy that at all. I'm not for drafting a player and hope he gets stronger or faster. Especially in round1 or second. Would like Bolles to be stronger. But He isn't and is a third round talent. Why would you say maybe I'm him? You guys here are terrible Slueths. Devito accused me of being RayRay. Anybody with a different opinion than you must all be the same person? Like you expect everybody to agree with you? If people don't we must all be one person? You are going to be the new boards administrator. Grow up. Not everybody is going to agree with you. And for the record if you ever get outside. You will notice many people around raven territory that doesn't like using our funds on Brandon Williams. And for the record it doesn't make us any less loyal of fans than you are. For most part I'm optimistic about our front office. I researched cut candidates to see if Ozzie and company have reasons for not chasing free agents. And we could be interested in more than who was available this week. Duane Brown could be cut. Dolphins left tackle is being shopped for trade and will be cut if phins can't find a partner. Jeremy Maclin is likely to be cut because of young talent. Rams may try to trade Quinn. Like WOW, Brown and Albert would be upgrades over Wagner.
  12. Who are the cut candidates?
  13. Marqise Lee came on this year. Jacksonville already has 2 WRs under contract. Could Jacksonville trade Lee or Hurns? Free agency has dried up fast. Ravens have more needs than picks. So have to get creative to fill these team needs.
  14. I think Robinson could be a really good RT. His deficiencies are coachable. Like running his feet as opposed to lunging when it's unnecessary. He isn't Greg Robinson at all. Greg is very uncoordinated. Cam could be a pretty good RT with some coaching. But even at Guard he is a good pick.
  15. Hope it's Davis or Ross. I'm not a big fan of MW. I mean I would take him. But would prefer Ross/Davis
  16. We agree!! Man he was the WR sleeper I really wanted here
  17. That was thete with crappy coaches!! We have structure. Forget paying for the board. We have to begin a WR fund. Sell our houses and buy a WR
  18. DAMMIT!! Come on now!! Can pay Woodhead $4mil but not a talented WR?! What the heck?SLACKERS!!
  19. I'm listening but I'm not the one attacking anybody for their opinion. My opinions are my opinions. It changes sometimes. But not based on what players we bring in or let walk elsewhere. I'm warming to Jefferson a little I guess, But miss Wagner
  20. I didn't say that. I said he doesn't like dominant voices and personalities. Never said it was the reason for ravens losing. That can be connected to a lot of things. For the record I liked our identity under Billick. Maybe not the best but I kinda liked.
  21. Fluker is interesting as is Lang(can't help but to think clubbed lol) I like Claiborne and Brown. Who are WR's left?
  22. I know it's a crapshoot. No shame in being wrong. But you talk to me like I should be ashamed to not know all the traits to look for
  23. Lamp could play center or even RT. Can't go wrong with a stud like that.
  24. I agree Pryor is a work in progress. But that is a good thing. He has a higher roof than Aiken. Considering the upside I wouldn't call it stupid to pay him. Because it could very well work out in their favor. That is what free agency is about. Finding players that are hitting their stride before breaking out and costing a truckload of money. Some guys have enough raw skills to produce before learning all the nuances. Brandon Marshall was supposed to be an H back. But wowed the broncos as a rookie. One practice coaches knew he was a WR and he was special. Pryor inspires that kind of feeling about his roof. Aiken will have a tough time finding anybody that wants him. Their numbers were similar but that is the end of their comparisons. Their roof isn't even close. At all. On flip what about Michael Floyd? He has the DWI and jail time. But no DV at least. He is big and fast supposedly although I haven't watched him play really. I like Kendall Wright a lot actually. He is very underrated.
  25. Believe me I would love for Kaufusi to be double digit sacks. His test numbers are good. But he totally bombed as a rush olb at the college level. He wasn't athletic enough.I don't know how much stronger he can actually get. Especially at 25. Henry is a great athlete. Maybe he could be coached up? I do really like Judon however. What was that guy doing available in round 5? He is the year 2 breakout candidate.
