  1. My post for reporting this slandering gets deleted yet the insult remains? I thought reporting stuff like this was part of how the board works?
  2. What happened in court? Could of been self defense. Were you there? Do you know any party involved?
  3. I like Lamp lot. One of my favorite players. Considering his skill set Butt is a Max Williams clone. It wouldn't make sense to have 2 players the same. However, if he could be what Williams is expected. I like the pick. And good value with the comp pick. If Williams ever comes on. Ravens will have some interesting formations with 2 TE sets with a FB. Butt is a better athlete than credited for. Williams Butt and Boyle can all block to spring running plays. And can all run routes and make plays catching the football. It could be Very interesting! Anderson I like but I'm not so sure he is the best player available there. He is fluid in the sense can play multiple positions. Rush olb and could slide inside and play ilb. If he did that he would probably play at a lesser weight for his ilb coverage tasks. Ravens may want a stud of one position for that pick. Like Ardarius Stewart, JuJu. A Harris,Lawson or McDowell could slide a little. Then there is Moton and Dawkins. As well as a cornerback/Safety like Williams Baker and Maye. I like Anderson but ravens probably want a more defined player round2 i like your remaining picks except Elflein. Ravens want to get bigger and stronger and doesn't fit the mold. A nasty offensive lineman only works if he can impose his will. Not sure he is an upgrade over Urschel,Jensen
  4. Replace Jones with a player that can help this year win
  5. Boldin picked it up when new coordinator came in. And for all the talk about more productive WRs. Boldin was the only WR that was money in playoffs.
  6. Ross can get that fast separation needed for the conversions. Wallace and Perriman can't. He isn't my favorite player at 16. He is about as shifty as Cooks. But if he will not highpoint like Cooks that is a problem. I like Ardarius in round2 better. He is fast shifty physical and will highpoint throws.
  7. Wow that is confidence. To have no problem with Feeney at 16. But if he becomes a pro bowl center. Nobody can argue. I agree about Engram. But I think he and Njoku are somewhat even. Engram blocked very well at Senior Bowl. Graham is pretty good to any he isn't getting the hype of Engram or Njoku. Graham is slippery after the catch. What is your take on Graham?
  8. Out of shape? He has several TD runs of about 50 yards. The guy is tough. His teammates love him and want to go to war with him. He takes hits in the pocket and throws strikes. As well as out of the pocket. He has some coaching up to do. His arm talent is best in the draft by far. He makes throws that many QBs in the NFL would ever attempt. Much less QBs in his draft class will attempt. Read the S.I. article about the fight you say he picked. People prop up incidents to make a story. Nobody is saying there isn't growing up to do. These are 21 yrs we are talking about. I'm sure he wasn't happy at the senior bowl. He is young and wanted to play. His proday is Tuesday. He will be throwing even coming off acl injury.
  9. Chad Kelly. Best arm talent in the draft and it's not even close. Watch his pro day tomorrow. He is going to catch attletion abd heat for sure! Has issues but not nearly as much as some say DJ/Jones/Larry Ogunjobi. Very athletic explosive and powerful tackles. Eluemanor. A very strong guard with good athleticism for a guard. Hasn't played football for very long Ardarius Stewart. First round talent not being talked about. I really like this dude. DeDe Westbrook. Very explosive all around WR not getting nearly the hype he should Everrett Graham. Explosive slippery playmaking TE. Far stronger blocker than credited for! Round1 talent likely going late2 Howard Wilson. Will be one of better cornerbacks from this class. He can man up and zone. If he fills out his frame could be really good free safety Could be round4 steal. Underrated.
  10. He is hungry. Harbaughs eyes get really huge talking about him. Seems excited over him genuinely. He may not be Osemele Evans or Zeitler but he will begin getting considerable movement as a drive blocker I think. He looked bigger in his article photo. He and Stanley young big guys with growing to do yet. Throw in a Cam and the young big offensive line hitting stride. I would have signed Zeitler over Williams. Big one dimensional NT's can be found. Guards that can wall them off while handling penetrators the next week are not so easy find. Lewis having a very good year is what the offense needs
  11. Lewis is a tackle converting to guard. His leverage will get better as he adjusts to different technique needed for a guard. And he is a young guy growing into his frame. He will settle in at about 320. He did fine for a young player adjusting positions. BTW I think we are taking Cam Robinson by an eyelash over Lamp because of his length and skill to play guard and tackle with drive blocking skills. Howard is the player I want by an eyelash over Tim Williams/Lawson
  12. I said it was over 2 yrs. I wasn't referring to you. Sorry, I should of said that. I was referring to everybody talking about cap hell. Saying things like we can't sign our own players for next 4 years. referring to all comments.
  13. That is wrong. His cap hit is over next 2 yrs. what is this talk we couldn't resign players drafted last yr and this draft? I never said there wouldn't be problems if Joe was traded. It would take terrific drafts next couple drafts. And would have to get something significant for Flacco in return. Which really isn't very likely. Ravens are not trading Flacco. Even if he is terrible. Management is more likely to draft a QB round1 if Joe is terrible. And sit Joe. Really tough to know what exactly management would do. With some good drafts and a significant return it could trade him. But not likely. Because if he plays terrible nobody is giving up anything significant for Joe Flacco Best scenario is putting a line and weapons around Joe to succeed. But be careful of bashing ideas to trade Joe. Because if he is terrible the ravens will be looking for a QB in round1 and trading significant picks to move up for a QB. I personally think Joe could be a top10 QB. But have to put a good line in front of him. He can play well with functional WR's. But he needs his time. He isn't lightning triggered reading defenses like Brady Bree's Rivers and Matt Ryan.
  14. I'm guessing Calvin Ridley isn't eligible to come out in this draft? The dude is bittersweet! One of my favorite college players ever. Skills similar to Torrey Holt and Chad Johnson. I would trade picks to move up and get him. Chris Moore has similar skills but isn't quite that good.
  15. The Westbrook hate is inept. It was a small incident and was over in a hot minute. Senseless to write off every player ever accused for anything. Interview the guy and get your take on his personality. I like Stewart the best to. But Westbrook is really good. If he is there in round 3 at our comp pick. Oz should consider him. If we haven't already drafted Stewart or JuJu. However you are right about Stewart. Wow!!
  16. I would like Cam Robinson as well. He has a lot of coaching up to do. But much of his problems is technique that is easy to fix. Some of his deficiencies will take many reps in practice to fix. But enough of his technique could be upgraded to play RT week one and do an ok job while steadily getting better. Lewis I believe could play RT eventually and play respectable. However I do agree with Harbaugh that Lewis is going to be a pro bowl caliber guard. Lewis is one of top breakout candidates. I'm not sure how old Lewis is. But maybe he is younger than thought? Harbaugh said he grew and is bigger and stronger. And has an intense desire to be great. And promised to be a pro bowl level guard. He looked bigger in that article pic. Young and Definitely looks like he is not done growing yet. Lewis really understands blocking positioning and angles very natural. I like Lamp better but Cam has upside. He could be an all pro guard or even Tackle once he irons out his flaws. He is so naturally strong. And he has the balance to better his movement skills. Stanley Lewis and Cam are some really good building blocks. When Cam plays Barnett in the NFL. He will yield a different result when his technique catches up to Barnett's.
  17. Anderson could very well be available in round2. If the draft takes that road. To go defensively. Then draft a Foster or Williams then trade up for Lawson/McDowell to add 2 front 7 monsters. If Howard is available ravens could go offensive route and add Howard and one of JuJu, Stewart, Westbrook in round2. And have a new tandem of playmakers. There is always offense and defense route
  18. Not a chance Lawson is there in round 2. He isn't getting by Pittsburgh. He could go before Barnett. Barnett isn't as terrible a rusher as Upshaw but he has some Upshaw in him. Anderson is not as upsidy as Williams but he is a great all around player with good burst. Lawson could be tradeback option or trade back into round one and grab. If Foster is there at 16 Oz should grab him then trade up for Lawson. Ravens defense quite nasty again
  19. Sports commentators are calling him a bust now. Did he really need to be put on I.r.? Everybody expressed hopes for Williams. Not writing him off yet but he flashed at best so far. Everybody I read that talks about him says he is out of shape with a poor work ethic. He seems to have some natural skills. But hasn't shown enough to not draft Howard. As much as I like Foster Tim Williams Lawson and Lamp. Ozzie will draft Howard if he is available. At 6'6 260 he runs and separates better than Mike Williams. We do want Williams to breakout. But Howard is the next Gronk. Maybe not quite the blocker but he is only like 20 yrs old and has some growing to do. And should become a functional blocker. Boyle could become a real weapon as a fullback! Defenses are not usually having to cover fullbacks that can actually run routes, make plays and beat linebackers and safety's coming from behind the line of scrimmage. He could even be a bruising blocker and runner several carries per game because he has some feet and elusiveness. He plays far faster than his 40 time. His scouting report says he was out of shape his senior year and looks faster the previous year. And Boyle plays faster than that 40 time. Boyle and Howard would make an awesome TE/Fullback tandem. Then draft Ardarius Stewart, JuJu or Westbrook in round 2-3. And when Dixon returns the offense is in business with dynamic weapons. We would need to find an offensive lineman in a camp cut. Maybe trade a future draft pick for one of RT/Center. That is if this draft takes offense sided route
  20. He is a career average player. But going into season 10. Even great cornerbacks slow down going into season 10. Claiborne was beginning to play to his draft status. He has injury history but to upside is elite. If he could finally shake the injury bug. We could be getting a $16million a year cornerback and defensive playmaker at cheaper rate. Because of his injuries. A playmaking cornerback would put an exclamation point on a dominant secondary. A real playmaking cornerback. That in turn would allow exotic blitzes by the front 7
  21. You mean Ryan Anderson? I agree about Barnett. You can bend all you want. If you can't surprise NFL blockers with your jump. The NFL tackles are going to get their hands on him. He is going to look like a kangaroo trying to shed NFL tackles with longer arms and massive hands and better technique. Harris has some issues but his bend is better than what most people say. But not always showing it. But he can be coached to better use his raw skills. I like Tim Williams and Carl Lawson better.
  22. I disagree. A team full of average players means 8-8. The average player isn't taking you anywhere. Like Cal Ripken later in his career. Played every game but batted .250. A great player give me 10 games and the playoffs and that is more than the average guy can give in 150 games. Take into account an average cornerback going into season 10. Playing every game isn't helping the team if he is getting beat like drums. Claiborne least gives you the opportunity for a difference maker. No surprise great players with an injury history are consistently drafted before average players. Denver took a chance on Peyton Manning as opposed to an average or below average quarterback. That isn't helping any
  23. I wouldn't say exactly what we needed. An average cornerback going into season 10. He is an upgrade. Not somebody that will change your defense. Of course Claiborne comes with injury risk. But the payoff is game changing. Kinda like the lottery. Yes you have a better shot at 4 number game as opposed to 6. 2k isn't changing your financial situation. Yes it is a pay upgrade. But really what is the point of playing pick 4? The pick 6 or whatever where you can win millions is less chance to win. But it will change your financial fortunes. If Claiborne could put it together it would be the dynamic piece that puts an exclamation point on our secondary and the defense. That will squeeze offenses air attack and very well could propel us to the Super Bowl. Then if we could add a couple dominant front 7 players in the draft like Foster and Williams/Lawson Ravens defense is as viscous as ever was
  24. We should of signed Claiborne. A player who potentially could be as effective as Sherman. Yes there was risk with injuries. But the payoff reward is as good as it gets. Because he has skills to be a real shutdown cornerback at a cheaper price. Could you imagine our secondary fronting Weddle Jefferson Jimmy Smith and Claiborne? If everybody plays that is the best in the NFL. Then ravens would have a chance to draft Foster to tandem with Mosley. LB's with speed to cover like safety's. And could really lay the wood. The defense would be no fly.
  25. Actually a pretty realistic but not great chance mike Williams is there. He tested bad for a contested ball winner style WR. I think very slim chance Davis is there. A 6'3 WR that can separate, cut without gearing down and has a legit extra gear like a smaller receiver as well as win contested catches Is going to be popular on draft day regardless of his school
