Maybe he's #3 because he's garbage. Be honest with yourself. I bet there were Raider fans that defended Russell through his first slew of games but the guys that knew what they were talking about knew exactly what a bust he was about to be claimed.

lol ok, whatever buddy. He's the only player that's every played that wasn't amazing his rookie year, every that "knows what their talking about" gives up on players after 7 games, keep thinking that.

Hes our first round draft pick and hasn't made an impact. He sucks. We're in dire need of a playmaker since losing Steve and Perriman was supposed to be that guy. He's garbage. Drafting for speed never works. We need football players

Yeah, he's our first round pick in pretty much his rookie year and is #3 on the depth chart, #4 when Smith is healthy. You're just being extremely ridiculous.

  3. I can't believe Stanley is inactive again, he's been practicing since last Wednesday. I guess the coaches are playing it extremely safe on him and waiting until after the bye. Thats sucks, I was really hoping our oline would be mostly healthy today, the Jets' dline may be underachieving at the moment, and Wilkerson may be nursing an injury, but they can explode at any team. Week one they destroyed the Bengals' oline. Our oline wasn't terrible last week - even Hurst was meh, which is good for him. Now we have Wagner so our oline will be better, so I'm not hitting the panic button on this injury, just surprised he isn't even suiting up.

Kamar Aiken Might not even be a comp. pick after this season, but definitely leaving because we barely use him

    Anthony Levine Unsure

Kyle Juszczyk Probably depends on our OC for 2017

Ryan Mallett Unsure, but if he does leave, late-round comp. pick.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Elvis Dumervil 100% cut, but may re-resign on a 1-year prove-it deal

Jeremy Zuttah Unsure, too early to tell

I don't think Aiken is definitely going to leave, with Smith retiring - and if Wallace is gone like you think - then there's plenty of reason to keep him around as he'd be unquestionably the starter.

Levine will probably be re-signed, provides solid ST play and is a tool on defense.

I don't think there's any way we let Juice go, great blocker and receiver and FBs don't demand much money.

Mallett is tough, but I'm sure he'll be re-signed as he would be cheap and is a solid backup

I wouldn't say Doom is 100% cut, we're still incredibly thin at pass rusher and now Suggs' future is in jeopardy.

I doubt Zuttah is going anywhere, we currently have no clear backup at center - we have guys like Urschel who can step in in a pinch but Zuttah has regained his form the past couple weeks and he's our best option there until we draft and develop someone to take over. I'm still skeptical if Urschel is our long term solution there, I think he's our long term guy at LG when Lewis is moved to RT.

People need to stop with the "must" win.

It is basic math. Sunday is NOT a "must" win.

Is it important? Yes absolutely. Is it more important than a non conference game? Sure is. Is it more important than a division game? Nope. If we loose on Sunday are we eliminated from the playoffs? Nope. Not at all. Therefore, based on that information, and again, basic math, Sunday is NOT a must win.

Here, maybe Brian Regan can help.

If you listen to some fans on here, every week is a must win. There has never been a game in our 20 year history that we could afford to lose.

  6. It'll be interesting to see who our LBs will shake out with Suggs being out. Last week we rolled with Suggs, Orr, McClellan, and Smith, losing Suggs changes things quite a bit. Do with slide in Judon at the other OLB spot, or scoot McClellan out to OLB and let Correa get the start. My money's on the former, we haven't gotten any indication that Correa is ready to start and I doubt we'd hand him the start after giving him almost no playing time all season.

  7. Lots of question about who's going to start at various spots. Who's starting opposite Wallace? Perriman or Aiken, either way I'm sure we're going to see a frequent rotation there. How are our LBs going to shake out? I'm betting Suggs-Orr-McClellan-Z. Smith. How is our oline going to shake out is the biggest question though, two starters out and Lewis at LT, he played well there last week but he's going ot have a bigger test today.

  8. I'd say if you think we're one of the worst drafters in the league then the problem isn't Ozzie/DeCosta's drafting abilities its that you have unreal expectations for what one team gets out of the draft. No team ever hits on every pick, most are lucky to hit on one or two, we've consistently hit on 3 or more per draft for years. If you're expecting a game breaker every draft then you're going to be disappointed regardless of who we've got making the picks, sorry to burst your bubble. Our FO looks to take solid contributors because they understand the concept that it takes a team to win it all, having one or two superstars and rest garbage players might make for some fun gamedays but that doesn't translate to consistent wins. I know some fans have ridiculous expectations for the draft but Ozzie/DeCosta are as good as you're going to get in a league where many teams don't have a competent GM at all. And even after the draft Ozzie has a record of hitting on at least one UDFA, which is way more than most teams can say. Sure Ozzie doesn't make splash FA acquisitions and he draws his line in the sand when it comes to re-signing guys which results in most leaving for more money, but he's been right on those FAs more often than not. "Superteams" rarely work out and many of our former players, not all, have been big disappointments in their new homes.

It's now or never for Perriman, Moore and Correa. If they don't impact the game somehow I've got a bad feeling about their futures.

You're giving two rookies and a quasi-rookie - all three of which being developmental players - one game to decide their entire future, that certainly seems fair and not insane at all
