hope we don't get mangold and we will live to regret not getting anything for TJ he was worth more than 25 spots in the 3rd so don't say we got a 3rd rounder for him because we didn't we took another loss just like zuttah

So you would rather have TJ for one more year then let him leave and get nothing? got it.

we would get his production in a contract year or we could have waited until draft day to trade him and we probably would have gotten more

Jernigan 16 solo tackles 15 assisted tackles. Pierce 19 solo tackles 16 assisted tackles. Let another team over pay TJ in the FA Market.

Why bother reply to people like that.... they clearly don't get it

no i don't get how you give up a 2nd round player from 2014 and a 3rd round pick for a 3rd round pick I'm siding with most people saying the eagles got the better of this trade by a long shot

  3. UCLA’s Takkarist McKinley, Michigan’s Taco Charlton, Missouri’s Charles Harris imo none of these guys are worthy of our 1st round pick if Clemson’s Mike Williams, Western Michigan’s Corey Davis is there at 16 i think we should pick davis at 16 our O-Line is what scares me if we could get pat eflien in the 2nd and greg pyke in the 5th-6th we could have stanley LT pyke LG eflien C yanda RG lewis RT i would be stoked ILB is also a pressing need and i don't see KC filling it imo he is a bust also i would like to see us get a CB in the first 3 rounds and now with TJ gone we will have to find another DLman the guys we have are subpar at best don't believe me look at their tape nothing jumps out at you lastly RB we need a #1 RB we haven't had one since RR and without one we will not have a dominate run game but all in all I just hope steve is a man of his word if we don't get back to the playoffs this year he will fire john and his band of misfits that call them selves coaches

WELL ... Barnett has just become more of a real consideration bc we just traded Timmy Jernigan plus our # 99 overall pick for their # 74 overall pick.

IDK... I don't like it. I know that we were going to lose Timmy but If we would have moved up 25 spots and got an extra 5th rounder from them.. I would have felt good about it... but

Even we just let him play his contract out and lost him... we would have gotten a 4th round pick for him. So basically we traded a starter at 3rd round pick and a 4th round to move up 25 spots this year in the 3rd round?

what makes you think we would have gotten a 4th round pick for him? That's not a guarantee.

Nope you are right we could have got a 3rd.... I was just being conservative in making my point but your right.... we may have traded away a starter and two 3rd round picks for a higher 3rd round pick! SMH

    A 3rd? LOL. It's more likely we would've received a 5th, or nothing than a 3rd.
This is another A+ move by the FO this offseason.

So the Ravens traded a former second-rounder, the only productive interior pass-rusher, one of the few guys with attitude, in his contract year, in order to save $1M and move up 24 spots in the third round? I don't get it. This doesn't help the team win in 2017, which had better happen or Harbs and maybe even Ozzie will be gone.

For the $1M, you can't sign a player even half as productive. If they were worried about re-signing him next year, let another team overpay and receive a probable 3rd round comp pick.  Eagles got a good deal here.

People keep throwing this 3rd round comp pick idea around to support their argument but it's flawed because there's no guarantee of us getting it.

but we would have gotten at least a 5rd pick your not going to tell me he's not going to get close to guys contract cause he will

  6. We might have to move up with one of them to make this happen, but how amazing would it be if we added these 4 guys to our team with our first 4 picks-

    Derek Barnett
    Ju Ju Smith-Schuster
    D'onta Foreman
    Pat Elfein

I would be stoked with Sidney Jones in place of Foreman as well.

After the FA we just had, if we hit this draft on the head, which I think we will, we really have a chance to jump right back on top of the division. To say the least.

pat elfein will be gone in the second

  7. I think all of us know we're going after a pass rusher with one of our first 2 picks. I wasn't a big fan at first, but now I'm really liking the idea of putting Takk opposite Sizzle if we go pass rusher at 16. I think he can stop the run too. Could be the last missing piece to the top D in the league. I know we need to fill Orr's spot. Not worried about that what so ever. Orr was undrafted and looked like a star in the middle of our D. Not worried about filling that ILB spot. We have a couple in house candidates, the whole draft, and cuts still. Pierce, Urban, Kufasi, Henry, and Davis will easily outproduce Timmy's spot and past. And know plenty of yall doubt that, just wait. Top D coming up. Our fans still have no idea about the effect that Tony is gonna have on our whole D

your crazy if you think Urban, Kufasi, Henry, and Davis are worth their weight in aluminum there is no evidence of any of these guys even coming close to a starting caliber DL and i pray that we don't go pass rusher in the first barrnett out of tenn is the only one worthy of the 16th overall pick and i doubt he will be there and to draft a OLB early would mean that Judon wouldn't see that much playing time and personally i think he's better than almost all the OLB in this years draft

dumb move we should have gotten a pick for him not a swap this is the same crap that happened with zuttah we are just giving guys away for next to nothing can wait for eric to start running the show so we can start making some smart moves

It's cute that you think that it would have played out any different.  Moving up that far for a player whose role was being reduced and who will be gone next year is a huge bonus to the Ravens.

I agree. Get it now or lose. Theres no way we was getting a 4th round pick in 2019 for him.

we most certainly would have look what the patriots paid guy you are crazy if you think TJ won't get that

we would have gotten at least a 4th round comp pick plus his production for next year or could have traded him after the draft but we gave him away and when is the last 3rd pick we drafted that became a play maker thats right we have had lots of problems drafting in the 1st round let alone the 3rd i think your knowledge of football is lacking and its not cute
