Flacco would be doing backflips if we got corey davis or mike williams
great to see everyone working out
this would be a good pick up in the middle rounds
it all comes down to the draft we need 4 starters out of this draft class or we will not make the playoffs and we will have a new coach
i don't see us trading back and imo we are going after an offensive playmaker (WR) still would like to see us pick up mack RB from florida in the 2nd or third and if pat eflien is there in the second take him i wouldn't even mind moving up for him and get banner in the 3-4 round to play LG our offense would be almost as good as our D
smoke screen
what if we took WR davis/williams in the first and took RB mccaffery/mack in the second efelin/banner and tabor/wilson/jones in the first 3 rounds i would be very happy
wow thats sad
UCLA’s Takkarist McKinley, Temple’s Haason Reddick, Michigan’s Taco Charlton and Missouri’s Charles Harris none of these guy are worth our #16 pick imo just like kc wasn't worth a 2nd round pick last year smh
Did I miss the articles breakdown of the Webb/Jefferson deal or was that just left out completely?
right
imo i would rather have davis or williams but if they are both gone i guess he's the next best pick
with our secondary everyone on our D-Line should look like studs and if we get a good CB in the first 3 rounds scary D top 3 next year

i just cant wait for the draft
he can play safety nickel corner great in zone awesome pick up we are going to have a top 3 D next year if DC dean don't mess it up
i really didnt get much from this but i cant wait for the draft
talk is cheap but with our secondary we should avg. 5 sacks a game an should at least get one int. a game this is going to be a scary D
i have to eat my words now if we sign webb we will have a great pass rush with just about any decent guys we put out there with suggs and judon/draft pick maybe/smith on the edge BW in the middle with CJ behind him and everyone we have in the secondary we might be able to carry the offense with our D still pray we some how get Mike Williams
anyone other than me like Greg Pyke coming out of GEORGIA
PLAYER OVERVIEW
Certainly a great deal of the reason for Georgia's success running the football in recent years has been the talent lining up in the backfield. A talented offensive line, however, has also played an important role with Pyke - a former highly regarded lacrosse recruit - emerging as a verifiable star at right guard in 2014.
Pyke entered the '14 season with zero career starts and only two game appearances after redshirting in 2012. He won the starting right guard role after an impressive spring, which concluded with him being recognized by the team as the "Most Improved Offensive Player" by the coaching staff. Pyke started all 13 games for the Bulldogs in 2014, earning Second Team All-SEC honors and once again being highlighted by Richt and his staff as the team's Most Improved player.
STRENGTHS / WEAKNESSES
STRENGTHS: Pyke possesses great core strength and leg drive which allows him to push defensive tackles off the ball on his way toward the second level.
Understands angles, consistently placing himself between the defender and his running back. Creative when blocking on the move, striking defenders with force when he resorting to cut blocks when necessary. Doesn't waste time worrying about defenders who may have slipped past, instead re-focusing on other targets, often blocking multiple opponents on the same play.
In pass protection, Pyke shows good initial quickness, as well as lateral agility to mirror defenders. He attacks defenders with a strong initial punch and anchors well due to proper knee bend and his core strength. Alert to stunts and surprise blitzes.
WEAKNESSES: Lacks ideal agility to track down linebackers. He may not even get drafted. I could definitely see him as a UDFA. Do you know this guy or something?
kind of hes from baltimore and ive seen him play he looks like a bigger yanda but hes still a little ruff around the edges but i definitely think hes a plug and play guy
nice bench warmer pick up

I hope we sign Mangold, even if he's more expensive than hoped for. Gino Gradkowski worked hard, but was just too undersized against the monster interior linemen in the NFL. For that reason I don't think Urschel would flourish there, despite the allure of having a smart dude (like Birk) in the middle.
I have been saying over and over that our number one need is a pass rusher. Even the best WR in the draft would not be a good fit here, because Flacco is not the type of QB that can really bring the best out of him. I'm not a Flacco hater, but I think it's important to be realistic about him. His long ball is loooong but not accurate, his short throws move a million mph, and he is often too hasty with his reads and progressions, so he tends to dump off to tight ends and running backs too often. That's why the ones who have done best with him are the veteran possession receivers/TEs or the raw speedsters, running simple schemes designed by a coordinator who "gets" Flacco.
(And I get that maybe this instead stems from receivers who can't get open. I would love to be proved wrong - for us to get a top receiver and see him get 1300 yds with Joe)
But with a good pass rush, our defense can hold opposing teams to scores in the teens or low twenties, and that is a low enough score that Flacco can win with.
its all about the system gino went to the broncos and won a ring an did pretty good
i honestly dont think we are going to sign mangold mainly because he left without a contract and we all know if ozzie wants some one he dont let them leave without signing them imo he didnt show the ability and must have not impressed our guys so we let him leave
