Wow. As a fan who left Baltimore in 2003 and found this community I can't say enough about how upsetting this is. Facebook has some of the worst 'Raven' fans.

I took cam as the likely, and Barnett as the one I want, but I don't think Barnett is there, in which case I would want Tim Williams who I really think is an elite talent

Perriman! He's in a starting roll and should get between 7 and 10 targets a game. I would say Waller if he was a starter. Flacco is a better passer between the numbers and with he's size and speed would be a mismatch for any Linebacker or Safety.

So I just finished watching Harbs talk live on Facebook and the commenting section was attrocious. Everyone was saying bring back this person, that person. Eventually it got to Ray Rice and people were actually comparing him to Dennis Pitta, in terms of how they have missed a few seasons but only Pitta was kept "because it was personal". Seriously Admins!? Do you really want to leave us with this crap?

Well... sorry to have to break it to you, but... 1.) we already have a good QB - one that played rather poorly at stretches of last season - but not a bad QB by any measure; 2.) I'm afraid you've been fooled. That ship-thing was an April's fool prank.

No one had mentioned Young yet, so that's why I said different. I agree on Correa and I'm rooting for him to take the next step.

I don't. But it's partially because selecting each others' targets has become such a common occurrence that I'm beginning to wonder whether I actually went mental years ago and he's simply an escaped persona of mine posting from another account.

I truly enjoyed talking Orioles baseball with everyone that ventured down to the Off-Topic Forum. From the bottom of my heart I want to say, I am really going to miss everyone's company when these boards close. For a few more weeks at least, I hope to see some familiar posts when Crush Davis hits them out of the park God bless everyone! Go O's!!!!!!!!!

I agree you could tell Perriman was catching on near the end of the season. He was 4 of the top 10 plays for the Ravens based off of NFL Network with his limitd role and he slowly started catching on, and had a couple good catches that were barely out of bounds. I would love Waller to get more play time his size and speed I think benefits the offense more than Pitta to be honest. I wonder if the Ravens use Pitta more in the slot like they used to when the Ravens won the Super Bowl back in 2012/2013. He cannot block at all. The one player I hope really breaks out though is Maxx Williams. He showed flashes as a rookie, but was injured and looked lost last year early in the process.

The more I check out my favorite board and type away and read away, I'm struck by how lonely and uneventful my life will be when they yank away this board for good May 5th! I just don't see why they're doing it because I promise them on my future grave, I'll never ever follow them on facebook or twitter ever period! You still have time to reconsider and make Ravens fans really happy and relieved!

I'm not sure what tape people are watching with Barnett being slow. He has amazing get off. Even when he's not anticipating the snap dude still get off the ball very quick. Maybe he didn't run an amazing 40 but his 10 yard split was good and he had one of the best 3 cone drills of anyone. I believe he was 5th with being .04 second behind 2nd. If Barnett is there at 16 it's a no brainer. He'll only get bigger stronger and faster. I wouldn't doubt he'll be the most productive pass rusher from this class. Dude has proved himself every year vs quality tackles. Broke Reggie Whites record. Watch the tape dude is constantly putting pressure on the qb. And he plays smart. Stays home in the run game and doesn't over pursue and squeezes the edge. (I'm a huge fan)

I'm afraid you've been fooled. That ship-thing was an April's fool prank. Sorry to break it to YOU! No, the Ravens do NOT have a good QB. PJ's living quite famously off a wing and a prayer heave, botched by the safety. A lifetime QB rating of 84% for a ten year starter is AWFUL! You can see how bad Pathetic Joe and Self Righteous John have been since Lewis retired. You can make every excuse in the book you want for these two, but it doesn't change the facts. "A lifetime rating of 84 is AWFUL." Sorry to break it to you but numbers aren't everything. Jim Kelly's career rating was 84. Dan Marino's career rating was just 2 points higher at 86. Both of them are in the Hall of Fame.

I do hope you know that you are the only one who knows what the nickname that you have given Joe stands for. PJ? I would also like to inform you that QBR is NOT a percentage. Matt Stafford Steve Mcnair, Matt Hasselbeck, Troy Aikman, Eli Manning, Alex Smith, Dan Fouts, John Elway, Bernie Kosar, Fran Tarkington, Otto Grahm, Drew Bledsoe Terry Bradshaw, Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, and Phil Simms all have QBRs lower than Joes. Directly above him is Jim Kelly 84.39, Brett Favre 86, and Dan Marino 86.38. It is quite clear that you have very little idea of what QBR is and have absolutely no idea how it is calculated. I am not saying that Joe is better or worse than any of the guys I have mentioned. I am saying that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Thje Giants game - plus the Raiders game, the Eagles game and the Pittsburgh game. All three games the O put the D into the position where all they had to do was stopping the opponent's O "one more time" to march down the field and score. And all three times they failed. (The Eagles game is somewhat different of course, where it was Flacco's flagrant mistake that put the Eagles in a position to start that march down the field the first place - but then the D was unable to stop it... And, if they don't elect to go for 2 instead of a simple PAT, a well-won game would have, in all probability, gone to overtime...)

You can see how bad Pathetic Joe and Self Righteous John have been since Lewis retired. You can make every excuse in the book you want for these two, but it doesn't change the facts. I guess 24 TDs and 4 ints in the playoffs since 2010 isn't good. And blaming the best postseason of all time on one play is ridiculous. Did you forget about the special teams giving up 2 TDs in that game, or the other 10 TD passes Joe threw? How about the fact that he would've been in consecutive SBs if Lee Evans could catch? Qb rating doesn't take into account pass protection or playmakers, so that's not a valid argument. Look at our top receivers since Ray Lewis retired, and look how they play without Joe. In 2013, it was Torrey Smith and Marlon Brown. Torrey has done nothing in SF, and is Marlon even in the league anymore? In 2014, we got SSS, who only had about 700 yards in his final season in CAR, and he had over 1,000 yd s with Flacco, who was once again the best postseason qb, but our injury depleted secondary couldn't hold 2 14 point leads. In 2015, every skill player on offense got injured. Last year, we brought in Mike Wallace, who was not productive at all in Minn, but he also had a resurgent year with Joe. EVERY qb needs a good supporting cast to win.

So, using the Walterfootball board I ended up setting up the Ravens' passrush for the next four or more years. The idea of having Barnett and Watt together with Judon in rotation was just too good to pass up. Along with Josh Jones as a potential all pro safety, this would being one of the best drafts in our defense's history. Adding Kupp, Elflien, and Switzer to the offense could be big for that side too. 16: R1P16 EDGE DEREK BARNETT TENNESSEE 47: R2P15 EDGE T.J. WATT WISCONSIN 78: R3P14 S JOSH JONES N.C. STATE 99: R3P35 WR COOPER KUPP EASTERN WASHINGTON 122: R4P15 C PAT ELFLEIN OHIO STATE 159: R5P15 RB DONNEL PUMPHREY SAN DIEGO STATE 186: R6P2 WR RYAN SWITZER NORTH CAROLINA

I have two issues with taking Ross at 16. First he always seems to be getting injured. The second issue is imo he won't be the bpa at that point. What Edge or CB is going to be available at that spot.

Well, in Las Vegas' case, the city lives on tourism. If they actually use that stadium for more than just football and it manages to draw in tourists year round, it could turn out to be a sound investment.

Here's my gut. We select Corey Davis at #16 of the 2017 draft and he's going to ignite our offense right from the get go. With Flacco hopefully recovered from his knee fully and perhaps does take the time to work with his receivers during off season to build a rapport and timing with them, and the addition of Roman to the coaching staff, we should be able to run the ball more effectively as well. So, I think our offense won't look like the ugly step sister of our defense any more.

I expect Perriman to take the next step. If you call last year his rookie campaign (which it really was) and compare him to all of the other rookie WRs across the NFL (and there were some very good ones last year). Perriman was about middle of the pack in production. Now with Steve Smith Sr retired... I do expect more. In fact.... if Kamar Aiken had nearly a 1000 yards rec. when we were forced to throw to him... then I really believe that Perriman could also.... He is immensely more talented then Kamar and with Mike Wallace opposite him and Joe Flacco healthy... I like Perrimans chances!

I can't tell if this is joke or what. It's very difficult to read too. 1) the other Poster was correct you don't understand how trades or the salary cap works at all based off what you've wrote. When a team trades a player with multiple years left on their contract the team must still pay that player the remaining Guaranteed money, which creates Dead Cap. *need proof, when Ray Rice was cut after his ordeal and the team had to carry 9.5M dead money spread over 2 years. 2) if the Ravens cut or traded Flacco today the Dead Cap would be 47.3M according to Spotrac 3) Trades have nothing to do with compensatory picks and they never have! Compensatory picks are about the quality of Free Agents The Ravens lose vs the quality of FA they sign. ( with other factors such as contract amounts, performance based achievements ). ** Lastly Texans and Browns deal to absorb the entire Brock Osweiller deal is rare in Football and should not be viewed as an option for most teams. Basically like an NBA deal for cash considerations **

I thought Breshad was advancing well last year, he seemed to trust his body more. His willingness to go up and get the football, as well to leave his feet were very good signs. I hope his moves will continue to improve and now being put in the solid starting role, he will be able to expand his talent and experience. Its time to put together the SSsr and Wallace examples that he has been given and use his superior physical abilities to catapult his career. The opportunity couldn't be better for this young man, lets hope he can humbly accept the role and set some records! Wouldn't that be nice. I have a good feeling about this kid and Joe this year. Wallace too, could we see two 1000 yd receivers this season....absolutely possible!
