Apologies in advance for how long this post will be - because i was using excel to collate everything it's difficult for it to format well into this forum: i considered just putting it all on a google drive for y'all but that doesn't really seem like the done thing here... If it is I can maybe collate it all on a google drive and post a link to make it easier... Apologies as well for the bizarre post earlier that obviously didn't work. I'll start with my mock because it's easiest i reckon. I tried not to be too obvious as far as possible but within reason so a lot of the picks will look familiar I imagine. I fully mocked 2 rounds and then drafted in the ball park for the other picks: MOCK DRAFT Round 1 1) Browns - Myles Garrett - EDGE 2) 49ers - Jonathan Allen - DL: I find it hard to see the 49ers three-peating with DL in the first but the Jets kind of did it in the past and there's no offensive talent for Shanahan to clamour for at this spot. I could very much see the 49ers trying to trade out of this spot for a team that loves a qb and thinks the bears / jets will take one. 3) Bears - Solomon Thomas - DL: Thomas is a missing piece on that defence but I could also see the Bears trying to trade out of this spot too - it's reported that both the Jets and Browns are interested in Trubisky but there were quotes from a scout saying the Jets were in love with Trubisky but that he wouldn't make it to 6 - I personally have a feeling that's a Titans scout trying to scare a team into trading with them at number 5. 4) Jaguars - Leonard Fournette - RB 5) Titans - Jamal Adams - S 6) Jets - Marshon Lattimore - CB: The jets may take Trubisky but I'm going to err away from the side of sensationalism. 7) Chargers - Malik Hooker - S 8) Panthers - OJ Howard - TE: Greg Olsen is getting older and there are no linemen worthy of this pick I think - OJ Howard gives Cam Newton a weapon he'll find it hard to miss. 9) Bengals - Derek Barnett - EDGE: Game-changer off the edge, I'd hate this but it makes a lot of sense. 10) Bills - Mike Williams - WR: They need help opposite Sammy Watkins (or to replace him when he's injured) 11) Saints - Reuben Foster - ILB 12) Browns - Mitchell Trubisky - QB: They apparently really like him so if he falls to 12 I see them pulling the trigger. 13) Cardinals - Deshaun Watson - QB: I struggled with this pick so looked around the league - I have the impression that the Cardinals are happy at qb but there is a growing idea that they'll pick a qb here. 14) Eagles - Dalvin Cook - RB 15) Colts - Forest Lamp - OL 16) Ravens - Corey Davis - WR: He's a different kind of receiver to what Flacco has at the moment. The worries about the level of competition are obviously real but I have confidence that he can transition well because of his elite route-running skills and ability to hands-catch. 17) Washington - Haason Reddick - LB 18) Titans - John Ross - WR 19) Bucs - Christian Mccaffrey - RB 20) Broncos - Cam Robinson - OL 21) Lions - Tim Williams - EDGE 22) Dolphins - Zach Cunningham - ILB 23) Giants - Ryan Ramcyzk - OL 24) Raiders - Marlon Humphrey - CB 25) Texans - Garrett Bolles - OL 26) Seahawks - Teez Tabor - CB 27) Chiefs - Dan Feeney - OL 28) Cowboys - Gareon Conley - CB 29) Packers - Taco Charlton - EDGE 30) Steelers - Takk Mckinley - EDGE 31) Falcons - Budda Baker - S 32) Saints - Tredavius White - CB: I'm assuming the trade for Malcolm Butler doesn't happen and that the Saints need a corner. Round 2 1) Browns - Obi Melifonwu - S 2) 49ers - Quincy Wilson - CB 3) Jags - Jabrill Peppers - S 4) Bears - Deshone Kizer - QB 5) Rams - Charles Harris - EDGE 6) Chargers: Jarrad Davis - EDGE 7) Jets - Alvin Kamara - RB 8) Panthers - Adoree Jackson - CB 9) Bengals - Cooper Kupp - WR 10) Saints - Malik Mcdowell - DL 11) Eagles - David Njoku - TE 12) Bills - Patrick Mahomes - QB 13) Cardinals - Pat Elflein - OL 14) Colts - TJ Watt - EDGE 15) Ravens - Carl Lawson - EDGE: The injuries are a potential issue but he has legitimate first round talent and can wreck off the edge which is why he probably is untouchable for the ravens until now. Ryan Anderson/Evan Engram could be the pick if we are too uncomfortable with his injuries. 16) Vikings - Zay Jones - WR 17) Washington - Davis Webb - QB 18) Bucs - Ryan Anderson - EDGE 19) Broncos - Dion Dawkins - OL 20) Browns - Chidobe Awuzie - CB 21) Lions - Joe Mixon - RB 22) Dolphins - Jourdan Lewis - CB 23) Giants - Sidney Jones - CB 24) Raiders - Dont'a Foreman - RB 25) Texans - Evan Engram - TE 26) Seahawks - Taylor Moton - OL 27) Chiefs - Dede Westbrook - WR 28) Cowboys - Demarcus Walker - EDGE 29) Packers - Tanoh Kpassagnon - EDGE 30) Steelers - Kevin King - CB 31) Falcons - Ethan Pocic - OL 32) Panthers - Curtis Samuel - WR Round 3 Fabian Moreau - CB: A highly accomplished corner with first round talent who will most likely fall a little bit due to the sheer numbers of corners and the injury that will keep him out of OTAs etc. If he is taken then I could see Isaac Asiata or Howard Wilson being the pick here. Akhello Witherspoon - CB: Double dipping at corner might not be expected here but I think these guys could be the BPA picks at both these spots. Witherspoon is a brilliant cover corner who maybe shies away from contact too much but could maybe see a philosophy change once he's getting good money to make tackles and in our case to even get on the field. I could see these two corners developing really well together behind carr, smith and with tavon. Round 4 Anthony Garcia - OL: An interesting tackle prospect with some elite traits. He has great quickness and the ability to mirror edge rushers, is rarely beaten with speed. His major problem and it may not be fixable even in an NFL weight program is his body frame - he mostly plays under 300 which isnt ideal and im not sure he has the frame to add much more weight. He could be a useful addition to the right tackle competition - but i wonder how he'd hold up against bull rushers. Round 5 Donnel Pumphrey - RB: He's mocked to us a lot I think around here and I wanted to do something new but he makes a lot of sense. Running back help including someone with a twitchy type speed albeit maybe it isnt quite the breakaway speed we've been yearning. Round 6 Deatrich Wise Jr - EDGE: A guy who didn't have the greatest production but didnt show too many reasons why it wasnt working. He has potential as a late guy - probably projected in the 5th but I could see him dropping down to this round just because of all the combine notables and other guys who have more production this last year. Perriman! He's in a starting roll and should get between 7 and 10 targets a game. I would say Waller if he was a starter. Flacco is a better passer between the numbers and with he's size and speed would be a mismatch for any Linebacker or Safety.

Thought it might be a good idea to have a single thread for us to post interesting or awful Ravens' picks in mock drafts from the media. Let's start with one of the worst ones I've seen, courtesy of Dane Brugler: Note: Charles Harris, Takkarist McKinley, and Sydney Jones were still on the board at this point in his mock. Elsewhere, yesterday, Eddie Brown of the San Diego Tribune posted a two round mock. He had the Ravens taking: I would be pretty happy if this one happened.

I don't. But it's partially because selecting each others' targets has become such a common occurrence that I'm beginning to wonder whether I actually went mental years ago and he's simply an escaped persona of mine posting from another account.

Forget that. He's gonna bring the single season rushing record in 12 games. Average 200+ yards on the ground. Break LTs single season TD record, and then break Marshall faulk career high in receiving yards

I think a huge root of the problem is a lot of us, especially myself, put too much stock into how well this team would play with Flacco coming off an acl/mcl tear, your best target coming off an achilles tear, your other wide receiver coming off two acl tears, and no proven guy at running back (after cutting an injured and old Forsett). Also two rookies on the line didn't help, the injuries didn't help but the team should have had better depth. Hindsight we should've known that with the offensive coordinator changes and everything else changing in the offense, that it would take time for the offense to click. Unfortunately by the time the offense started clicking was when the defense lost Jimmy Smith and started to slip. The Ravens need consistency on offense. There is too many moving pieces each year that it is no wonder that the team struggles. That includes the coaching staff. Looking at the top offenses over the years, the best ones are the ones that have the same core group of people year in and out.

I don't think so man, ZDS overachieved as a rookie and all 6 of his sacks came purely as a result of coverage or blown blocking assignments. Anytime he's been forced to engage and actually rush the edge conventionally, he has been awful. He comes off the line upright, barely uses his hands, and sprints straight out of the play. Judon is showing lateral movement and dissecting openings into the pocket and great hand usage and some bend as well, not to mention his absurd awareness that had him, a small school rookie, abandoning a free rush to break off and cover screens, the offense tried to outsmart him multiple times by not blocking him and dumping off into the space he vacated and he never fell for it, that was the thing that made me really think we found a gem. Voch Lombardi likes to say "if you ain't getting blocked you gettin set up" and Judon doesn't get set up, it's impressive for a rookie. Z just brainlessly runs and hopes something happens.

I'll bite. John Ross and Cam Robinson are high up on my "do not touch" lists. I don't like either, but thanks to an amazing combine from Ross he will probably go high. Likely to us which would piss me the hell off. Cam Robinson I don't like either, and if we draft him I'll call for Ozzie's head. Ramcyzk is the superior prospect.

cant believe some havent figured this out yet.... and its not unique either -- its just a bad pft commenter impersonation. Anyways, 100% agree with your take on the FO's plan on the offense, perceptions of the draft in terms of "strengths/weaknesses," and the emphasis on C over RT. Couldnt have said it better myself.

I think people over estimate Jernigan's value. He tends to disappear for long stretches at a time and lost playing time to Carl Davis. He has moments of being good, but he's not a great player, or someone that you build your defense around.

I've been seeing a lot of posts in articles written and just on the comments and boards here in general about how the Ravens seem to be whiffing on a lot of upper tier picks recently, especially the second round. This got me to thinking...have the Ravens ever drafted well with their second round picks? I plan to post all of the second round picks since the team's inception and let you, the fans decide: 1996: 2nd round: CB: DeRon Jenkins...AKA: "toast." He played four seasons with the Ravens, never a starter, and in his last season with this team was relegated to Special Teams. Hung in for two more unimpressive seasons with SD and TEN. 1997: 2nd Round: LB: Jamie Sharper: Was a 5 year starter with Baltimore and really started to click in his final season with the team. He wasn't a supremely disruptive force in his time with Baltimore but they got a 5 year starter out of the pick and that's exactly what you want out of a high pick. 1997: 2nd Round: S: Kim Herring: Was a full time starter in 2 of his 4 years with the team and put up his best season in his walk year. Cashed in on a big contract with the Rams where he continued to be a good starter before the injury bug bit him hard. I don't think he provided as much value as Sharper did. 1998: 2nd Round: WR: Patrick Johnson: Supremely fast (he once beat Olympic dynamo Carl Lewis in a race) but could never get open or catch a ball. If your first thought when reading the name listed was "WHO?" then you kind of answer the question of feast or famine. 1999: No 2nd round pick. 2000: No 2nd round pick. 2001: 2nd Round: CB: Gary Baxter: Baxter was a 3 year full time starter in his four seasons with Baltimore. At 6'2'' 204lbs he was a force to be reckoned with and paired up extremely well opposite Chris McAlister. He played very well for us and cashed in big with Cleveland but injuries caught up with him as well and derailed his career. I presonally think this was a good pick. 2002: 2nd Round: DL: Anthony Weaver: Was a 4 year full time starter in each of his seasons with the team. He was a disruptive force as he caused fumbles, swatted away passes, and did get to the QB a bit. He went on to be another 3 year full time starter for Houston before a shoulder injury ended his career. 2003: No 2nd Round Pick 2004: 2nd Round: DT: Dwan Edwards: Edwards was a rotational player for the first three seasons and then became a regular starter for the final two seasons here with Baltimore, played two seasons with Buffalo as a starter and then four more seasons with Carolina as a starter and then rotational guy that saw plenty of snaps until his final season with them in 2015. He was better in his time after a Raven, especially with Carolina when he became a pass rushing threat. While we didn't get all the value out of him that he had, his success elsewhere and 11 year career I think proves that he was a good pick. 2005: 2nd Round Pick: Dan Cody: Cody was a hyped pick but unfortunately barely ever played due to blowing out his knee in camp almost as soon as we got him in camp. This pick was a bust simply because we never got to see him play. 2005: 2nd Round Pick: OT: Adam Terry: Terry had the looks, a big guy at 6'8'' 330lbs he had the makings of a monster mauler type. Unfortunately he didn't have the heart or durability to ever fulfill that promise. He spent four unimpressive seasons as a back up/situational starter for us before missing all of a season and then playing 2 games for SD. 2006: 2nd Round Pick: OG: Chris Chester: At 6'3'' 300lbs. and being a former TE, he had the athleticism the Ravens were looking for, but wasn't as physical as he needed to be in our system at the time. He was a full time starter for the team in the three of his last five seasons with the team and then went on to be a full time starter for the rest of his career which was 4 more years with Washington and 2 more with Atlanta. He was a good player overall, just didn't fit our scheme at the time. 2007: No Second Round Pick 2008: 2nd Round Pick: RB: Ray Rice: Don't think I need to say too much here. Without Rice we probably don't win the second SB. Unfortunately an off the field domestic abuse issue forced his premature departure with this team and as a result cost him the rest of his career. 2009: 2nd Round Pick: DE/OLB: Paul Kruger: Part of Kruger's issue is that the Ravens couldn't decide if he was an End or an OLB in our system and Kruger didn't thrive in any as a starter. He found success in his last two seasons, especially in his final season as a situational pass rusher and then starter down the stretch and in the playoffs for the Ravens. Cashed in BIG with the Browns where in three seasons he turned in only one good one and was ultimately cut before signing on with the Saints to have yet another poor season. 2010: 2nd Round Pick: OLB: Sergio Kindle: Ouch. We never got to see what kind of pass rushing monster Kindle could be because almost right after we drafted him he "slept walked" after drinking a lot at a party and fell down a flight of stairs which fractured his skull and left him with some permanent hearing loss. But that's okay because we had ANOTHER 2nd round pick in 2010, right? 2010: 2nd Round Pick: DT/NT: Terrence Cody: AKA: "Mt. Cody" was a massive body that the Ravens envisioned eating up blockers in the middle of the defense and allowing everyone else to roam free. Unfortunately Cody ate lots of other things. At nearly 400lbs perhaps his combine numbers should have said something to the Ravens as he did only 19 reps of 225lbs. Add in injury issues and you got a big disappointment figuratively and literally speaking. Ouchx2. 2011: 2nd Round Pick: WR: Torrey Smith: Paired up with big arm QB Joe Flacco Torrey used his great speed to very good results in this offense and becoming the ONLY drafted WR by the Ravens to go over 1,000 yards in a season. Able to make big time plays and score the football he was a full time starter in each of his four seasons in Baltimore. Due a big pay raise, he cashed in big in FA with the 49ers and has had two lackluster seasons with them. 2012: 2nd Round Pick: OG: Kelechi Osemele: He may be one of the best Guards in the game right now as a sheer massive mauler and was a full time starter in each of his four seasons with the Ravens and was credited for the turn around in Oakland in his first full season with them. If nagging injuries don't become more bothersome moving forward he may be an all time great as he's missed at least some playing time in each year following his first with the Ravens. 2013: 2nd Round Pick: MLB: Arthur Brown: Brown never made it passed Special Teams contributor in his three seasons with the Ravens before they finally gave up on him and he then spent 2016 between the Jets and Jags as a special teamer as well. 2014: 2nd Round Pick: DT: Timmy Jernigan: Jernigan is a bit of an enigma right now as he at times shows flashes of becoming a disruptive force from the interior line, but getting derailed by stupid penalties or just lack of production. He's become a full time starter in his third season with the Ravens and it will be interesting to see if it finally clicks for him in his next season. If it does plan on Jernigan walking for a huge pay day as big time pass rushing threats from his position are rare commodities. 2015: 2nd Round Pick: TE: Maxx Williams: Williams like Jernigan is a question mark right now, when on the field he's shown flashes of being the Todd Heap-like playmaker the Ravens thought they were getting. But nagging injuries in his first season kept him off the field and a major injury kept him completely off the field in 2016. He will need to stay healthy and regain his form next season. It will be a big make or break year for him IMO. 2016: 2nd Round Pick: LB: Kamalei Correa: An under the radar pick, the Ravens had fans questioning the pick from the onset even though pundits around praised how well Correa shows up on film. Perhaps they should have questioned the competition level he faced. Admittedly he does look good to my eyes on his college game tape, but now he's going up against the best of the best. He was hyped so much but other than getting into scrums with veterans (including one that broke one of Dennis Pitta's fingers/thumb) he made literally no noise. Thinking his game doesn't quite match up for a outside rushing threat and an injury forcing Zach Orr to retire there is talk of KC moving to ILB. He got limited playing time in his rookie season partially due to unimpressive play and a major injury. It will be interesting to see just what he turns into going forward.

So Chad Reuter just did a 5 round mock on NFL.com and its awful for us. (IMO at least). Dont think i like or understand a single pick made for us. RD 1 - John Ross But Malik Hooker and Reuben Foster were still on the board. RD 2- Cordrea Tankersly Prob my least favorite of the "2nd tier" CB's. Has us taking him, which i find to be a reach, with guys like Feeney, Tim Williams, Malik McDowell, Lawson, Marlon Humphrey, Budda Baker, and Sidney Jones still on the baord. RD 3 (1) - Ethan Pocic Not only do i think Elflein is the better player, but also a much better fit for what we want to do with our OL. He doesnt have Elflein picked at all in the first 5 rounds. Plus, guys like Godwin, Des King, Dorian Johnson, Duke Riley, Eluemunor, Kazee, and Kupp all still on the board. RD 3 (2) - Ryan Anderson Actually dont hate this... though id like it even more if we had hit on a pass rush specialist somewhere else. The two could platoon one side. I see him becoming a legit 3 down player with enough pass rush ability to keep on the field, and eventual replacement for Suggs, but i dont see him being a big threat off the edge right away. Other guys still on the board that go off before our next pick - Witherspoon, Adam Shaheen, Marcus Williams RD 4 - Jamaal Williams, RB Dont like this pick much at all. Several RBs i like just as much if not more later. Players we miss out on: Marcus Maye, Corn Elder, Treston Decoud, Howard Wilson, Joe WIlliams, Marlon Mack, DJ Jones, Bisnowaty, Asiata, RD 5 - Freddie Stevenson, FB I get we lost Juice... but going RB/FB rounds 4-5 makes no sense to me at all. We have a cpl guys that can fill the FB void, and Woodhead gives us a legit 3rd down back that can protect before slipping out of the backfield. Dont view RB as much of a need or even want unless its a potential star at a value spot (Fournette, Cook/McCaffery in the 2nd) or a homerun hitter (Cohen late). FB i see no reason to draft. Not many teams use a FB anymore, so i cant see much competition to draft one... should have your pick of the litter in UDFA and should have a leg up in getting them to sign with us, as we offer a great opportunity for them then almost any other team. And Dalvin Tomlinson was picked after this.... and even though we signed BWill, thats just too good of value to pass up at this point imo. Not to mention Elflein was still on the board...

I can't tell if this is joke or what. It's very difficult to read too. 1) the other Poster was correct you don't understand how trades or the salary cap works at all based off what you've wrote. When a team trades a player with multiple years left on their contract the team must still pay that player the remaining Guaranteed money, which creates Dead Cap. *need proof, when Ray Rice was cut after his ordeal and the team had to carry 9.5M dead money spread over 2 years. 2) if the Ravens cut or traded Flacco today the Dead Cap would be 47.3M according to Spotrac 3) Trades have nothing to do with compensatory picks and they never have! Compensatory picks are about the quality of Free Agents The Ravens lose vs the quality of FA they sign. ( with other factors such as contract amounts, performance based achievements ). ** Lastly Texans and Browns deal to absorb the entire Brock Osweiller deal is rare in Football and should not be viewed as an option for most teams. Basically like an NBA deal for cash considerations **

Wouldn't double his production be like 60 catches , 6 tds and like 800 yards or something? Idk about you, but those don't look like pro bowl numbers....

I can just hear yanda now calling him chicken like it's his name. Side note, yanda doesn't get caught on tape running his mouth often, but it's gold when he does

I think the comment on Lewis is more or less bc they're not in a position to be picky and Lewis' versatility helps the situation. Were going to get the best possible OL, and then put the best 5 we have on the field. If we find a C and G - Lewis could play RT. That's all. And im not as worried about RT if we get a legit C. Interior OL is key to me, and I'm intrigued by the potential of Wesley. I also wouldn't be shocked if come July Mangold gets signed. I know some don't like that, but I think he'd be a nice 1-2 year answer while we develop or patiently wait to find the long term answer. Imo the weakness of this OL draft is overstated bc there aren't any obvious franchise type LT's at the top... the best OL players project best to G or RT. But I actually think it's pretty solid rounds 2-4 at the positions we need. Cam, Ram, Lamp, Feeney, Dawkins could all be trade back or 2nd round options to fill either LG or RT (Lewis at the other).... Elflein could be a day 1 starter at C in either the 2nd or 3rd. And then there's a number of guys like Moton, Toth, Elumeunor, Morgan, Dielman, Bisnowaty, etc... that could play multiple positions and be available anywhere from the 3rd to the 6th to compete for a starting job. Weve routinely pulled guys out of the middle of drafts that come in and produce almost right away (Lewis, Yanda, KO, Wagner). I think the goal will be to nail at least one starter this draft and if not both plug the 2nd hole with a vet cut or someone like Mangold, Dunlap, Clady, etc.... Then finalize it next year to have 4 starters on rookie deals. Not to mention they clearly like Urschel, Jensen, Wesley, Nembot and Skura. Don't be surprised if one of them starts and plays really well. Also keep in mind the coaching changes made on offense with emphasis on the OL/run game. We've seen in past different coaching and suddenly someone unexpected bursts on the scene.

I see no mention of the pass Lee Evans didn't hold on to in the end zone in the AFC Title Game against the Pats. Right on the money. Dropped. Cundiff misses the FG. Every team has plays for the example you gave. "IF" Russell Wilson doesn't throw and interception the Seahawks win the Super Bowl. "IF" Eli doesn't escape out of the pocket and "IF" David Tyree doesn't make a great catch the Pats win the Super Bowl. That's only two "IF" facts but I could go on and on.....

I think it's putting the best possible team on the field now, without taking short cuts that would harm the long term prospects of contending over a span of time. I dont think it has to be either/or. We added young pieces to the defense that can be here, and be leaders for a long time. Carr plugs the hole for a year but doesnt prohibit us from adding a young piece. Were headed to the draft, i imagine, with hopes of finding either a RT, G or C that can be an immediate contributor and long term answer... and then will evaluate the scene afterwards. But, they werent going to pay for an over priced option on the OL or at WR that wont be a long term fix, or would be cost prohibitive. So the plan is to build a dominate OL that will be the core piece of that offense that makes it go, and fill in where we cant with cheap 1 year fixes until the long term answers are in house.... and they focused/built up the defense bc they feel we can still compete now with an elite D while they take the long term approach on building the offense.

it was difficult to think where he'd go because he's unlikely to miss any of training camp - the hope for me is that he will be there at the first pick in the 3rd round because he has legitimate 1st round talent and wont actually be missing any of the season - that's why i allowed myself the privilege of mocking him to us in the 3rd but i could likewise see him not even making it to our 2nd round pick...

They don't have to have played anywhere else to be a FA. Contract up= FA. Either resign or they leave. Their choice=Free.

Lack of QB consistency It's irrelevant if Flacco is a great playoff performer if he can't get the job done in the regular season.

If you think about it we always draft on a need basis when we drafted B.p. we needed wr when they took Mosley they needed mlb when they drafted Jimmy they needed cb it's just we don't reach for a need

Not bad at all. Overall though, it is solid, but McKinley is way too raw to take at 16 imo. High ceiling, moderately low floor. He has athleticism, the frame and motor to be good, but he has literally no arsenal of pass rushing moves. I'd much rather take Williams, Watt or Harris. Cam could slide into the 20's but that is about it. Outside of Ramcyzk and Lamp, Cam is arguably the top OL prospect in a thin class. There are too many O line needy teams that will pick before our second such as Indy, Seattle, Denver, Carolina, Jax, etc. RavensDieHard21.... I think McKinley is a perfect fit for us at 16. He don't have to walk in and be the man. He can learn under Suggs. We have Judon and ZSmith to help - Plus.... McKinley has very good pass rushing skills.... very smooth swim and rip.... very deep bends that make it difficult for OT to mirror- very long arms not allowing OL and TE's to engage. He needs work on his bull rush / club and power moves (but that is what they said about TSizzle coming out of college). TK is about 20 plus pounds bigger then Hasson Reddick and Cunningham and - His biggest down fall right now is that he needs to add strength... (typical for most kids coming out of college)....t he needs to work to to add strength to ensure that he can play in the physical AFC North and not just rely on athleticism. Right now he would be a situational pass rusher and not an edge setting OLB- but that is what we want...we had Upshaw who could set an edge but we needed someone who can get after QBs and harass them. I think TK would be a steal at # 16 I was saying Cam at # 2 and I agree with you that he will probably be gone by then. Different draft experts have him as late as late second round and as early as top 15 overall. But with any of these projections- I am suggesting players like Cam or TK etc. If Cam is not there in round 2. Roderick Johnson- T- FSU should be ( and TBH he may have a greater upside long term) or Taylor Morton -T out of WMich (who is climbing up the boards)... I really like Will Holden out of Vandy (and he may be available in round 3) allowing us to jump at one of the FLA CBs or TreDavious White - CB -LSU in round 2. If Westbrook is gone... Stacey Coley-WR - Miami (albeit we can probably land him in the 4th) or Ju Ju Smith Schuster (in 3rd) I really hope that nobody jumps at Noah Brown but watching him play... he can be a problem for defenses. He is simply very raw but such a freakish athlete that he can be a mid round steal that everyone is talking about years from now. I would love to see us step up and snag either Sid Jones- CB- Wash or Fabian Moreau with our 3rd pick. (since we have two in the 3rd round). I know that Sid will not play until next year but he is worth waiting on. I also do not think that Fabian will drop to the 3rd but some draft experts are now saying mid 3rd to mid 4th is realistic- bc he just had surgery and this will set him back. With Carr and Tavon we don't need him to start right away and will have the luxury of allowing him to come along at his own pace! . I doubt that we could get that lucky but if he is there (either one)... man we better grab them. This is a very deep draft and we have some holes to fill. I would love to see it play out similar to how I projected but If not there are a ton of directions we can go - In my best Bart Scott voice... "CANT WAIT"!

Losing close games means you have enough to hang in the game but no playmakers to "finish". Get some more playmakers and stop dicking around by drafting a horde of "depth" and "role" guys.

Charlie Campbell from Walter football had us picking adoree jackson. Which, personally I'm happy with. The problem with it wasn't the pick. It was who was still available. Mike Williams went one pick later....lol. while Tim Williams went 30th (Maybe he thinks character concerns idk)
