Apologies in advance for how long this post will be - because i was using excel to collate everything it's difficult for it to format well into this forum: i considered just putting it all on a google drive for y'all but that doesn't really seem like the done thing here... If it is I can maybe collate it all on a google drive and post a link to make it easier... Apologies as well for the bizarre post earlier that obviously didn't work. I'll start with my mock because it's easiest i reckon. I tried not to be too obvious as far as possible but within reason so a lot of the picks will look familiar I imagine. I fully mocked 2 rounds and then drafted in the ball park for the other picks: MOCK DRAFT Round 1 1) Browns - Myles Garrett - EDGE 2) 49ers - Jonathan Allen - DL: I find it hard to see the 49ers three-peating with DL in the first but the Jets kind of did it in the past and there's no offensive talent for Shanahan to clamour for at this spot. I could very much see the 49ers trying to trade out of this spot for a team that loves a qb and thinks the bears / jets will take one. 3) Bears - Solomon Thomas - DL: Thomas is a missing piece on that defence but I could also see the Bears trying to trade out of this spot too - it's reported that both the Jets and Browns are interested in Trubisky but there were quotes from a scout saying the Jets were in love with Trubisky but that he wouldn't make it to 6 - I personally have a feeling that's a Titans scout trying to scare a team into trading with them at number 5. 4) Jaguars - Leonard Fournette - RB 5) Titans - Jamal Adams - S 6) Jets - Marshon Lattimore - CB: The jets may take Trubisky but I'm going to err away from the side of sensationalism. 7) Chargers - Malik Hooker - S 8) Panthers - OJ Howard - TE: Greg Olsen is getting older and there are no linemen worthy of this pick I think - OJ Howard gives Cam Newton a weapon he'll find it hard to miss. 9) Bengals - Derek Barnett - EDGE: Game-changer off the edge, I'd hate this but it makes a lot of sense. 10) Bills - Mike Williams - WR: They need help opposite Sammy Watkins (or to replace him when he's injured) 11) Saints - Reuben Foster - ILB 12) Browns - Mitchell Trubisky - QB: They apparently really like him so if he falls to 12 I see them pulling the trigger. 13) Cardinals - Deshaun Watson - QB: I struggled with this pick so looked around the league - I have the impression that the Cardinals are happy at qb but there is a growing idea that they'll pick a qb here. 14) Eagles - Dalvin Cook - RB 15) Colts - Forest Lamp - OL 16) Ravens - Corey Davis - WR: He's a different kind of receiver to what Flacco has at the moment. The worries about the level of competition are obviously real but I have confidence that he can transition well because of his elite route-running skills and ability to hands-catch. 17) Washington - Haason Reddick - LB 18) Titans - John Ross - WR 19) Bucs - Christian Mccaffrey - RB 20) Broncos - Cam Robinson - OL 21) Lions - Tim Williams - EDGE 22) Dolphins - Zach Cunningham - ILB 23) Giants - Ryan Ramcyzk - OL 24) Raiders - Marlon Humphrey - CB 25) Texans - Garrett Bolles - OL 26) Seahawks - Teez Tabor - CB 27) Chiefs - Dan Feeney - OL 28) Cowboys - Gareon Conley - CB 29) Packers - Taco Charlton - EDGE 30) Steelers - Takk Mckinley - EDGE 31) Falcons - Budda Baker - S 32) Saints - Tredavius White - CB: I'm assuming the trade for Malcolm Butler doesn't happen and that the Saints need a corner. Round 2 1) Browns - Obi Melifonwu - S 2) 49ers - Quincy Wilson - CB 3) Jags - Jabrill Peppers - S 4) Bears - Deshone Kizer - QB 5) Rams - Charles Harris - EDGE 6) Chargers: Jarrad Davis - EDGE 7) Jets - Alvin Kamara - RB 8) Panthers - Adoree Jackson - CB 9) Bengals - Cooper Kupp - WR 10) Saints - Malik Mcdowell - DL 11) Eagles - David Njoku - TE 12) Bills - Patrick Mahomes - QB 13) Cardinals - Pat Elflein - OL 14) Colts - TJ Watt - EDGE 15) Ravens - Carl Lawson - EDGE: The injuries are a potential issue but he has legitimate first round talent and can wreck off the edge which is why he probably is untouchable for the ravens until now. Ryan Anderson/Evan Engram could be the pick if we are too uncomfortable with his injuries. 16) Vikings - Zay Jones - WR 17) Washington - Davis Webb - QB 18) Bucs - Ryan Anderson - EDGE 19) Broncos - Dion Dawkins - OL 20) Browns - Chidobe Awuzie - CB 21) Lions - Joe Mixon - RB 22) Dolphins - Jourdan Lewis - CB 23) Giants - Sidney Jones - CB 24) Raiders - Dont'a Foreman - RB 25) Texans - Evan Engram - TE 26) Seahawks - Taylor Moton - OL 27) Chiefs - Dede Westbrook - WR 28) Cowboys - Demarcus Walker - EDGE 29) Packers - Tanoh Kpassagnon - EDGE 30) Steelers - Kevin King - CB 31) Falcons - Ethan Pocic - OL 32) Panthers - Curtis Samuel - WR Round 3 Fabian Moreau - CB: A highly accomplished corner with first round talent who will most likely fall a little bit due to the sheer numbers of corners and the injury that will keep him out of OTAs etc. If he is taken then I could see Isaac Asiata or Howard Wilson being the pick here. Akhello Witherspoon - CB: Double dipping at corner might not be expected here but I think these guys could be the BPA picks at both these spots. Witherspoon is a brilliant cover corner who maybe shies away from contact too much but could maybe see a philosophy change once he's getting good money to make tackles and in our case to even get on the field. I could see these two corners developing really well together behind carr, smith and with tavon. Round 4 Anthony Garcia - OL: An interesting tackle prospect with some elite traits. He has great quickness and the ability to mirror edge rushers, is rarely beaten with speed. His major problem and it may not be fixable even in an NFL weight program is his body frame - he mostly plays under 300 which isnt ideal and im not sure he has the frame to add much more weight. He could be a useful addition to the right tackle competition - but i wonder how he'd hold up against bull rushers. Round 5 Donnel Pumphrey - RB: He's mocked to us a lot I think around here and I wanted to do something new but he makes a lot of sense. Running back help including someone with a twitchy type speed albeit maybe it isnt quite the breakaway speed we've been yearning. Round 6 Deatrich Wise Jr - EDGE: A guy who didn't have the greatest production but didnt show too many reasons why it wasnt working. He has potential as a late guy - probably projected in the 5th but I could see him dropping down to this round just because of all the combine notables and other guys who have more production this last year. I really would love to see Webb back here, I personally think Judon needs to get the nod, he was highly effective and looked primed for a breakout(and the ZDS rookie year is apples and oranges here, one looked very good and the other got lucky on blown assignments, save it please). Webb is excellent depth and having an extra guy who plays both s and cb inside and out is huge. If anyone goes down we have a veteran and perhaps the 2nd smartest/savviest db on the team who can fill in anywhere.

I don't think anyone's against the idea of drafting a first round tackle per se - I think it's more that there aren't any first round tackles that seem worth the 16th pick in the draft or who would be the BPA at any point

This is lame, Ravens. This is very lame. Gonna miss it, but I see you want to keep up with the times with Facespace and Twittar. On selecting an OT over a WR with the first pick: what use do you have of a good WR if the QB has no time throwing to him because the right tackle a swinging door?

No way do i think Peppers goes before we're on the clock. Howard may not go Top 15. I think he will, but i dont think in any way its a lock. Foster could slip. At least one team in the Top 15 has him off their board completely, and with Reddick's ascension a team looking for that ILB could decide Reddick's versatility, athleticism, and ability to pass rush is more worth it than Foster. I could see Williams being available. It's not likely, but if say Tenn falls in love with Ross and someone else views Davis as the #1 guy -- Williams could slide. Idk that its even a guarantee that any Top 15 team goes WR with all the defensive talent available. Wouldnt be totally surprised is both Williams and Davis were on the board. I also dont think Barnett is a lock to go Top 15. With Reddick flying up boards, Tim Williams red flags dissipating to a degree, and Takk, Taco and Harris all having more athletic gifts -- we've seen teams fall in love with that raw ability/upside over the proven, polished play maker. And, literally every mock generator i do that matches big board up with team needs, seems to have Barnett over looked. Even when hes rated properly on the big board as the 3-10th prospect.... he gets passed for some reason. Browns are taking Garret, and then outside that who has a need for pass rusher or doesnt have another highly rated prospect available to them at a position of greater need? If Barnett gets past NO i think he's there for us. Maybe Carolina, maybe Cinci, and then NO. Only teams i could see going for him. But cant see Carolina passing up on Fournette, Adams, Hooker, or Lattimore. All or most should be available. Cant see Cinci going pass rush if Foster's there. I could see them go Williams before Barnett too. NO's the only one. But i could see them go secondary if they have a highly rated player available (Lattimore if available, Humphrey, Conley, etc..). So i wouldnt say 100% no. Its certainly possible. I mean no one wouldve said Tunsil was gonna be there for Miami and that 2-3 tackles would go ahead of him. but they did.

No this argument applies to all pass rushers. All players face a jump in competition, they're going from college to the pros. The guys that have a better shot are the ones who already have or are capable of developing NFL technique, Barnett falls in that category

It may be boring for Ravens fans, but extra points across the league were, I believe, under an 80% conversion rate. They aren't as routine for most teams anymore.

1st round: I'm completely fine with this pick. I'd rather take Davis if he's on the board, but with Barnett gone, Williams would be my number second option. 2nd: Juju could be a good chain moving WR, but I think this is too early for him. If the Ravens go WR in the second and Zay Jones is gone, I'd sooner pick Chris Godwin. 3rd: I think it's a bit too early for him. He seemed more like a fourth rounder prospect, or possibly late third. Though it's not a bad pick. I think he could be a starting RT in his rookie year. 3rd comp: I like this pick. Jernigan is possibly on his way out and the other guys aren't the best at stopping the run. Someone that can stuff the run and get penetration is exactly what the Ravens need at 3-4 DE. 4th: I've been a fan of his for awhile and mentioned him as a pick for us like half a year ago. The Ravens are looking for physical, mean-streak blockers so we might as well get a RB in the same mold. The thing I like about Perine is that he does have enough speed to turn an opening into a big run. Not a fifty yard td kind of big run, but a solid fifteen to twenty yards before getting brought down. As much as I like Dixon, it would be good to have an insurance policy due to him missing a lot of time so far.

We all said Juice needed to be used more and in more ways, especially when we were lacking at the TE spot from time to time. He got paid big time by the 49ers and we weren't going to match that - good for him. As for Aiken, yeah he was the 4th WR and I don't know that I would have wanted him higher, either. Smith, Wallace, and Breshad were either better than him or had more upside and needed the reps. Don't feel too bad, Kamar, you had bounced around the league as a JAG before getting your shot here. You made good on it and turned it into this latest opportunity.

This is kinda where I'm at with it in a way. The front office, in my opinion, must believe one of three things. 1. The Ravens aren't capable of developing young receivers. I would have believed this very much during the tenure of Jim Hostler and that would be supported by always bringing in these older, established veterans, but I just don't see it now. Engram is a really great receivers coach and we've seen great strides from players like Aiken and Perriman. I think if Engram were really given a bonafide star in the draft to work with (like Mike Williams), he could coach out any deficiencies and turn him into a superstar in the league. 2. The Ravens think Joe can do it all on his own and doesn't need a supporting cast around him. This one is just total bogus no matter who the quarterback is, except for one. I have only ever seen Andrew Luck do so much more with so much less and he was quite possibly the greatest draft prospect in NFL history, so we know that this isn't true. 3. The Ravens believe that no matter who they put out there, Joe is going to look exactly like he has for his entire career. Now, I know Joe hasn't had the greatest group of receivers in the world, but it seems that no matter who's out there, Joe is going to just make the same mistakes and the same throws. It doesn't matter if he has a Gronk or Julio; he's going to be who he is. He's gone through so many receivers, different offensive coordinators, and different philosophies and he's still playing the exact same. Sure, maybe if he had Gronk, Julio, Megatron, AJ Green, and Bell in their primes, he might be lighting up the stat sheet, but no quarterback has anything close to that. I think the front office is resigned to the idea of giving Joe just enough to work with and not leaving him out to dry, but not hinging all their money on a receiver/tight end group that'd rival the best in the league because Joe is still going to be Joe no matter who is out there.

This draft is so stacked with talent is was really hard deciding who goes where, I probably left guys out that will undoubtedly go in the 1st, but oh well. Here is my shot at it. 1. Cleveland – Myles Garrett – I’m not as high on him as most, but to each his own. 2. San Francisco – Jamal Adams 3. Chicago – Solomon Thomas 4. Jacksonville – Jonathan Allen 5. Tennessee – Malik Hooker 6. New York – Deshaun Watson 7. LA – Marshon Lattimore - His past injuries scare me, and honestly think there is a pretty good chance he is a bust because of it, which would be a shame, because this kid is amazing. 8. Carolina – Mike Williams – Many have Fournette mocked here, and so did I for a while, but I think they go a different route and get another wide out to lineup opposite KB. 9. Cincinnati – Haason Reddick – I think his combine and his versatility shot him up the draft boards, however Derek Barnett also seems like a likely option. 10. Bills – Corey Davis– Not a huge Corey Davis fan, but the Bills desperately need another WR. Trading back from here could be a possibility though. 11. Saints – Reuben Foster 12. Browns – Leonard Fournette – No way the Browns could pass on Fournette here. He would take much needed pressure off of the QB, who I think they will take in the 2nd, although Kessler should be the starter this season. 13. Cardinals – O.J. Howard – Could’ve gone QB here, but Howard could be a generational talent. 14. Eagles – Christian Mccaffery 15. Colts – Cam Robinson 16. Ravens – Derek Barnett – This might be a little bias, as Barnett is my favorite prospect for us. But I really think this is a scenario that could make him fall to us. Reddick’s combine could push him ahead of Barnett. I think we might go Reddick, Taco, or TWill if Barnett is gone, although I would prefer a trade back. 17. Redskins – Dalvin Cook 18. Titans – John Ross 19. Buccaneers – Takk Mckinley 20. Broncos – Ryan Ramcyzk 21. Lions – Taco Charlton 22. Dolphins – Marlon Humphrey 23. Giants – David Njoku 24. Raiders – Jarrad Davis 25. Texans – Mitch Trubisky 26. Seahawks – Jabrill Peppers 27. Chiefs – Tim Williams 28. Cowboys – Budda Baker 29. Packers – Garret Bolles 30. Steelers – Charles Harris 31. Falcons – Gareon Conley 32. Saints – Tre White 2nd round – Zay Jones, WR Big body, strong hands, extremely productive. I think he would be a great fit here. 3rd round – Cam Sutton, CB Sutton has 1st round potential, but is overshadowed by the ridiculous CB class. I think he will end up being one of the steals of the draft. 3rd round comp - Taylor Moton, OL 4th round – Kyle Fuller, C 5th – Lorenzo Jerome, FS – One of my favorite prospects, I think he could be a great replacement when Weddle leaves Don’t feel like taking a shot in the dark for our 6th round pick.

i have done my homework, im not writing him off as a one trick pony and i'd still hate the pick because of the fit and the fact that i dont think he's a top 16 player in the draft: i would much rather have cam robinson, tim williams, oj howard, haason reddick, marlon humphrey, tj watt - i would prefer all of these to the john ross pick and they certainly aren't unrealistic kevin king to me is a combine superstar who's tape doesnt match up - he occasionally can make eye-catching plays but i think he isnt as smooth as he should be in coverage and can occasionally be clumsy - i think there are better corner options who would likely be available in round 2: moreau, awuzie, lewis for starters - sidney jones if he's there - i also think there are good wide receivers/edge rushers, linebackers or even offensive linemen who might be better picks at that spot so i disagree that its a nice haul

Not trying to convince anyone, I would just like a single valid point as to why you think Barnett is not gonna be good, because you have yet to make one. You just say "he isn't gonna be good no matter what you say, because NFL tackles are better". That isn't a valid argument whatsoever and you refuse to bring a valid argument to the table. Still waiting btw, unless you just know absolutely nothing about Barnett therefore you shouldn't really be speaking on the subject, which looks like it might be the case.

Dont like the idea of Ross with our 1st. Just dont want another guy whose main asset is speed. It's great, and could lead to an explosive offense -- but hes already got an extensive injury history, and speed is a trait that can diminish with injuries. He's more well rounded than most speed guys in that hes not a one dimensional, one-trick pony.... but take away the speed and the other traits arent worth a 1st round pick. Not even close. King i actually do like. Great height, length, athleticism combo. Has a frame to actually fill out even more to where he could bully even the biggest, most physical receivers in the league. And great at tracking/denying the ball; especially deep. May not be a day 1 plug and play type of guy like some of the others, but we dont necessarily need that with Carr here and his upside is tremendous. And Magnuson i actually like, but think its a bit early here. I like Moton and he could be around here... if Elflein is available im definitely going him here over the RT. I actually really like Jordan Morgan out of Kutztown in this range, maybe a little later, over Magnuson. 6'4", 310-320 lb dude, 4 yr starter at LT who probably projects better to guard but I think could play RT. Has great feet and is a nasty, mauling dude.

    1) TJ Watt Watt still doesn't get credit for how good he has been this season. To get 11.5 sacks when you're asked to do so many things outside of rushing the passer is nothing short of impressive. When he rushes, he is absolutely great. He wins with motor, elite hand placement, leverage, twitch and good enough bend. His short area quickness turns OTs into turnstile and I don't see him not translating if his knees are OK and if he's used well. 2) Pat Elflein Elflein has owned the 2nd pick more than any other player when I was imaginating mocks during the year. He is a Day one starter that adds strength, versatility, polish, smartness and leadership to our OL. He is absolutely needed on this football team. 3) Desmond King A few weeks ago, King said he felt like the Ravens would be a great fit for him, and while I didn't see it at first, now I completely agree. After the addition of Carr and Jefferson, we basically need some depth. How about a player that can be lined up as a FS, SS, in the slot or on the outside, and play CB in a zone or press. King is a physical player that will make an impact very early because he can help us in an infinity of ways. 3b) Isaiah Ford I was actually happy that he didn't run fast at the Combine because it's going to prevent teams from realizing he's a great prospect. Ford has all the makings to be at least a very good WR2 in the NFL, from body control to ball skills and attitude, and to be able to snatch him at this point is the definition of a steal. Need meets value. 4) Adam Bisnowaty Bisnowaty is one of the best bargain at OT in this draft, as he has the mobility and the anchor to be a good pass protector, with the nastyness and the leverage to get some push in the run game. I don't expect him to be an All World, but I don't think the dropoff between Wagner and him is going to be too big which is a win for a 4th rounder. 5) Wayne Gallman Gallman is a bit on thin for the NFL but I love his ability to tire defenses and always keep his feet moving. He's a quick runner and has great vision. He needs to progress with ball security, pass pro, gain some muscle and improve some little parts of his game but I really expect him to contribute when his number is called and potentially become a workhorse back. He ran slow at the combine but he is a terror in space, and in the 5th round he's typically the type of bargain that I love. I'll stop here, not much sense going to the last two rounds where it's usually madness, but I guess a little DL help would be nice too. Have fun with the comments!

No it doesn't. Bc you're now relying on referees to rule on intent. They cant agree on what a catch is but now it's the perfect solution that they'll know when the PI was done "on purpose" vs "accidental"? You don't think that players could purposely interfere with a guy and make it look like an accident.... and you trust refs to be able to apply that consistently across all games, every week, among different crews? I mean how many PI calls are already either missed or called when it shouldn't be every week?? Now on top of that issue we want to compound by asking them to also rule the intent of the DB on top of it? intent isn't black and white and can't be reviewed. Adding new rules like that -- never a fan.

Really like this idea but I'd like to see 2 different versions with an incidental and a nonincidental with the nonincidental being the 15.

I don't mind shy guys - it just sounds like he maybe doesn't like football as much as he needs to - or he doesn't care enough - motivation makes a huge difference - so many talented guys just haven't made it because they don't love / care about football its a worry but much like Tim Williams, if the doubts can be assuaged then I can get behind the player because the talent level is so high

Oh I really like him on film - maybe more than Solomon Thomas - but the immaturity issues off the back of his combine interviews really made me drop him down my board - I think his ceiling is enormous but I worry about his baseline when he actually has to work

What will you accept as proof that you were wrong though considering what you suggest is financially unfeasible?

I love Williams as a player but I find it hard to take him at 16 with the reported and even self-admitted issues. If we do take him, I imagine it means that Ozzie did a lot of checking with his Alabama connections, but still find it hard to believe at this time.

Ravens had one of the worst pass rushing defenses in the league last year. Let's not get rid of our best one

As for Aiken and Juszczyk: time will tell if they were right or wrong. What I cannot help noticing however, is that while I cannot really remember defensive players leaving Baltimore then thropwing back darts, there were 3 offensive guys (these two plus KO last season) who don't really speak really fondly of the Baltimore offense... That less and less seems a coincidence... I've long said, and I still think Harbaugh simply doesn't understand the NFL offense, and that's why he keeps appointing the wrong guys to command our O (with the sole exception of Kubiak), but knows too little to overrule their mistakes in offensive strategy, game planning and play calling. I fiormly believe that as long as Harbaugh is our HC, the only way we can have a good offense is by chance - because nobody who is responsible for it is good enough. I believe all the offensive success we've had since 2008 was not because of our coaching stuff, but in spite of it - out of the virtue of the players. And that's why I think that no matter who we draft and acquire in free agency, we don't really have any real reason to hope for better a season that what we had - because the by far biggest cause of our offensive impotence: the incapable HC - has not been removed from the system. And until that happens, you can count on players leaving Baltimore to throw back shade like this...

E David Thomas agree with Aiken, he deserved more reps or at the very least constructive feedback on what needed improvement to get more play time. my sense is, my beloved Ravens just don['t have a good Reciever Game strategy/route trees/creative plays to take advantage of skills of WR's - they are to predictable and limited to keying on 1 or 2 WR's for any play (lacks flexibility) and simple progression reads that either go to #1 or #2 or very quickly to the dump-off outlet - come on guys, let's get it together for 2017.
