Thanks. I also found a great formula! I refreshingly called it 'type into this perfectly calculated cell that does everything for me'. That formula is so well done it took me almost all of 24.5 seconds to update my State of the Franchise. It's incredible! And also I really appreciate your input, but I guess I am perfectly aware of what the Titans need in order to field a better Team than in 2017 Sincerely, Your Titans GM

Instead of helping Ozzie with the draft why don't you help yourself learn to spell.

i wanna point out what our record would be if flacco hadnt been constantly let down by his teammates: perriman not getting his foot down on that perfect back shoulder fade vs the skins: 9-7 chris moore dropping an obvious td pass that hit him clean in his hands, in stride, for an easy catch: 10-6 the 2 definite tds dropped vs pitt, and the possible but iffy one to BP, and pittas inexcusable out of bounds catch inside the 5: 11-5 were welcoming miami back to the bank tomorrow if flacco isnt once again let down over and over and over by his receivers. and hell, idk about the tiebreakers and seeding and all, but maybe we go into week 17 looking to lock up the 2 seed if possible if the tiebreakers allow it and beat the bengals and we are looking at a bye this week. sure though, lets blame flacco. hes done enough to get us there time and time again, just like when owen daniels dropped a game sealing TD right in his hands vs NE in 2014. just like lee evans did the same to send us to the super bowl. just like anquan boldin did the year prior in pittsburgh. it is ABSURD how close he has come to being in 1 more super bowl, and 2 more AFC championships where we wouldve faced the sanchize at home and a horrible colts team and likely won both. Flacco made all of those happen while his receivers screw him over time and time again.

I keep thinking the same thing. With Dixon on the team, I have pretty much zero interest in picking Cook with #16.

In one sentence please explain how you came up with this? Just one sentence please. I don't want to overtax my brain.

I don't know but I really think Jamal Adams if available would be the best pick for us. He is a natural born leader of men and will grow our defense along with Mosley to be fierce again after the retirement of Suggs. But, I seriously doubt we land him unless we trade up.

Prior to now, Ryan has been no different than Dalton, all about the regular season.
  11. 6 points
I think this is my favorite part of anyone's post. 1. Call Dalton better than Flacco 2. Say Flacco needs a great o-line, stud running game, stud WRs, and an effective defense to succeed 3. Fully ignore the fact that Dalton has had all that practically his whole career

One day I'll tell my kids about the time I won Aqib Talib for 11 stars and no one even contested the bid. Good times.

I'm not sure why anyone here cares if the TEN GM has made any moves. It's not your team, he's played this game for years and knows what he's doing, is likely over the age of 13, so some of us not actively involved in actually running this game should probably stay in their respective lane else they get hit by an 18-wheeler. Seriously why do you even care if the Titans spent a dime or in our case a half a star?
  14. 5 points
LMAO! The Ravens would have been recognized as the dumbest franchise on the planet.

Is this before or after the Falcons blow a 25 point lead?

Speaking of this thread, just finished watching some Flacco highlights on YouTube. Damn near brought a tear to my eye (figuratively of course). #makeflaccogreatagain2017

Adams is one of the few guys I'd consider trading up for. He is amazing, and would be a real game changer for the Ravens.

Look, the fact that the OP just wanted to show some appreciation for one of our players, only to have it derailed by the usual trolls with the same lame "arguments" says a lot about those people, and nothing about Joe. Yawn...

1,000% agree as someone who has seen the stark contrast in surrounding circumstances between Joe and Andy by virtue of watching every game they've both played. Without a doubt Dalton held them back, he had one good season and got hurt throwing an awful pick on a screen pass. The windows he gets, the WR separation, the YAC, the protection, the supporting run game, are all night and day to what Flacco has. The degree of difficulty on the throws they are asked to make is night and day, we see this every Ravens Bengals game, just watch the difference, how hard it is for Joe and how easy it is for Dalton. Jaws pointed this out when defending Flacco, we ask him to make more difficult throws on a more consistent basis, stats do not reflect this in the manner in which we relate stats to an 'elite' QB. Bengal fans have become accustomed to such great o line play and wr talent they were acting like they had the league worst WRs and O line this year, I had to point out once again the Ravens o line was ranked worse. Dalton literally did nothing half his games, threw the ball away because he can't make difficult throws and can't make it happen without elite WR talent. Dalton is not a better QB and if you think this you do not understand football.

So, DeCosta mentions Tim Williams and Charles Harris in his first combine interview. What does that really mean?
  25. 3 points
Great, another article about Flacco that fans think bashing him will help change the fact that we are stuck with him for the next 3 years at least... Flacco is a good QB. We are lucky to have a starter capable of winning big games like Flacco can. We could be in a much worse position. And in all honesty, Flacco does give us a chance to win every game. We very rarely ever get blown out, regardless of who we play.
  26. 3 points
In all seriousness, Flacco can be very good - when he has the time and targets that can catch. He needs a better O-line and more reliable receivers.

That place is a very dark place during the offseason.

I am so excited for the combine. I decided I will not go on the Raven Talk forums. All people say is fire Flacco, fire Ozzie, and fire John. I feel like there is actually some great debates on the draft forum and there are a lot less trolls.

You really need to quit spewing the same lies. The Ravens had a very good rate at avoiding 3-and-outs. Of their 192 drives, only 35 ended in a 3-and-out, which is an 18.23% rate and good for 6th best in the league (LINK). That's in front of teams like the Packers, Cowboys, Steelers, and even the Patriots who were bottom 6. Also, the Ravens had a positive TOP on the year and were above-average (12th overall) for the league (LINK).

Just read this: John Harbaugh: "Ravens will contend for a title because of Joe Flacco". OMG, I haven't laughed so hard in a really long while. Oh jeeh, that's good stuff. If anything, we'll contend for a title IN SPITE of Joe Flacco. This was really just too much.
  31. 3 points
Seriously. I literally don't want to hear him speak until February, 2018
  32. 3 points
Gotta be honest, I don't think it's as scary as you may think. Sure, I expect Ziggy, Slay, and Levy to have great seasons. I think that's great players at three levels of the defense. And Quin is generally very solid. But you have Byrd and Matthews on the definite downswing of their careers, Diggs took a major step back last year and may not even make the Lions in 2017, Nkemdiche has to show he can even get on the field. I do like the potential that Jihad Ward brings, though.

For a whole entire draft class I could give you Barry Church to single-handedly solve your problem. Forget @BmoreBird22's secondary. Barry Church is elite.

"Very competitive offer" is the Ravens' way of saying "we're probably going to lose yet another young, talented player because we've got all our money invested in aging/injured players and our overrated QB."
  37. 3 points
Then you get stuck with him at 45 stars and a single tear rolls down your cheek

would love to see us sign him to a 2-4 year deal between 3-5 mil a year

Although I don't hate the guy, this is honestly an extremely true statement. He's not respected at all outside of our fanbase.

A two round mock o NFL Spinzone had the Ravens going Corey Davis in the first, and Charles Harris in the second. I would love for it to turn out this way.

Did you really write that the Ravens have consistently done more for Flacco than the Falcons have for Ryan? wowzer! And you are writing other things here and not understanding(maybe purposely) what you are writing. Boldin was here for 3 years and has been gone for 4. We won a SB in one of those years and were very competitive in the other two. Flacco and SSS had a good year in 2014, almost made it to the SB. 2015, 2016, injuries. Williams, Perriman and Gillmore probably haven't played a seasons worth of games between them. What is so hard to understand? I really have no interest in taking the time to disprove it, but your subjective hypothesis that "many, many teams are worse off" really has no bearing on matters. Fact is if the Ravens want to get back on top there's going to have to be improvements on offense in more areas than just the play of the QB.
  42. 3 points
Lol....yeah that's not true, "much better" is a huge exaggeration. Q had more targets/receptions with those teams as they featured the pass more, but his YPC were as high/higher in Bmore as any point of his career. Housh? Lee Evans? Seriously? Gimme a break. LMAO! And Todd was a shell of his former self, beaten and battered, by the time Flacco arrived. Pretty much FALSE on all counts. lol

Lolwut. The day the fans in this franchise get any power is the day that I will drive myself to the brink of insanity and have my girlfriend string me up like a heavy bag and beat me to death with her bare hands. You're blaming us now? Have you really run out of ideas? LMAO! I quit.....

No matter who you feel is better Ryan or Flacco, the fact is that the Falcons have put together a highly effective mix of skill position players around Matt which has helped to raise his level of play and to produce some gaudy numbers. To state the obvious, it ain't just him that has improved. But the proven formula for consistent offensive(and defensive for that matter) success remains in building an effective line. For me signing Mack as the anchor of an already solid group is what has put them over the top.

Look at the way it sets up for the Steelers. If the Raiders retain the #2 seed, the path to the AFC title game for the AFC North champion involves beating Matt Moore at home and beating Matt McGloin on the road. Not quite the murderers row of QBs we had to beat back in 2012 (Luck, Manning and Brady in three straight weeks)

Considering Wallace is our only proven WR on the roster I hope we keep him.

Thanks for the support guys. Giving you a little update. He knows he is behind obviously. He is ultra busy right now and did not have time to really dive into SoF because of the changed system and he does not want to make a mistake doing it. It probably would take 5 minutes as he hardly has done any moves (like he always does). It would have definitely been done before he would have joined the fun most likely yesterday. As a matter of fact, I could have done his SoF but that would not have solved "the problem".

I agree, id take all three of those guys ahead of cook
